  1. I am not dying (that i know of) and my stuff including my character will have never existed so no you cannot!
  2. Well as promised on Monday the 26th at 11:59 PM (EST) i will delete my account of SWTOR essentially calling the white flag after 3 years of playing and a couple hundred dollars spent. Although i am a subscriber until the middle of November and could technicaly play KOTFE i will not. Another decision i made after the issue with Bioware and EA is not to buy the game of the year edition of Dragon Age. I will no longer after this post have anything to do with the BIOWARE/EA Universe. I am still debating on whether Star Wars Battlefront will be worth my money, or if EA will just DLC it to death and make it apparent that the content was already finished (like swtor first year) but selling seperate For now, Goodbye Bioware! Your next EA!
  3. You answered yur own question when you said you had to scroll to the bottom of the page to get clarity (are you a millionare or investor in a company, or mayve a venture capitalist), all they had to do was not hide that statement and put it into the promotion, because they didn't and they left it at the end of the page we have no other reason to suggest that they knew the intended issue would arise, hence why we haven't heard a response, they were prepared!!!!!
  4. Everyone was directed tothe splash page be it from emails or just straight up subscribing, if it said anything like it had ended i would not have bought SOR or subscribed until Tuesday.............................................................................PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Well i am sure if you didn't get in you would feel just as upset as we are, either way i just subscribed to final fantasy xiv and am buying assasin creed on friday, i took a week of work to play swtor this week as it was the only week i was giving the game with fallout 4 and final fantasy 3.1 coming out, oh well bioware, you do however have four more days to correct this issue, if not you will be deleted from my list of games forever!!!!!
  6. Yeah that's pointless I need to know how to post the email with the link inside, because if I do it the other way people with say I made something up.
  7. That may be true and in the court of law legal but that's doesn't excuse the fact that the promotion without the disclaimer was confusing. If I have to take full responsibility for trusting a company I have to come to enjoy, then all bets our of. What if I buy Battlefront and then five months down the line that have an expansion pack that locks me out of the content (like destiny) if they are okay with doing this then where do they draw the line. FYI I have an email that I received from Bioware after calling customer service and getting nowhere that will permentely delete my account, if I don't get early access I will no longer be a bioware/ea customer. We are sorry to hear that you wish to permanently delete your Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ account and are sending you this mail to outline the procedure you will need to follow in order for us to delete your account, and to let you know of the consequences of doing so. If you think that you might wish to play Star Wars: The Old Republic again in the future we would recommend cancelling your subscription rather than deleting your account. This means that you will not be charged a subscription fee, and that you can opt to return to the game at any time. You can cancel your subscription yourself through our website at https://account.swtor.com/user/subscription or our Customer Service agents can assist you with the process if you call us. You can find our contact numbers at http://www.swtor.com/support/form. If, however, you would prefer to permanently delete your account we would ask you to please be aware of the following: As your SW:TOR account is attached to an EA account we are only able to disable accounts and any permanent deletion request must be directed to EA. • You must first contact customer support to confirm you wish to have your account disabled. Our phone numbers can be found here http://www.swtor.com/support/form. Our support team will then disable your account so it cannot be accessed any further on http://www.swtor.com. • Once this has been completed if you wish to permanently delete your Swtor & associated EA account you must send an email to privacy_policy@ea.com to proceed with the deletion of your account and all associated data from our databases. Once your account has been disabled you will no longer be able to: • Log in into the game • Log in into the Star Wars: The Old Republic website and access your account management page • Post in the Community Forums • Receive emails containing Star Wars: The Old Republic updates* • Receive emails containing BioWare announcements • Receive emails containing LucasArts announcements Please be aware that once we complete your request, your account cannot be re-enabled, and your characters and items cannot be restored. *Please note that you will still receive EA newsletters based on your settings. If you wish to opt-out of these newsletters please visit https://www.ea.com/profile/contact-preferences. Please note that disabling your Star Wars: The Old Republic account has no effect on your EA or Origin Account and any requests to permanently delete this account must be sent to privacy_policy@ea.com. Also please be aware that you will not be able to use your current username to create a new account, nor will you be able to use your Star Wars: The Old Republic product code again. Once your account is disabled, your subscription will cease immediately, and any unused game-time will be lost. If there are any issues or problems which have prompted this decision that we can help you with, please do not hesitate to contact us, and we will assist you in any way that we can. Any feedback that you can provide will be useful as we continue to improve our customer service. Regards, Stephen Star Wars ™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service We would love to hear your feedback on our Customer Service and invite you to fill out the following survey to help us to continually improve our support!
  8. I don't now how to post a link from an email, anyone help? I am using windows 10 and the email is through yahoo.
  9. I don't check information unless their is a problem, also I hadn't played SWTOR in 5 months, heck I subscribed on September 2nd and only played three days since then and that was to level to 60 after buying Revan expansion. So no I didn t search for the information because all the other early access was subscribe by this day and you in, not four dates. FOUR DATES PEOPLE, FOUR!, WHO DOES FOUR, FOUR, WHY AS A CONSUMER SHOULD I THINK IT IS FOUR, ITS NOT EVEN MONTHS LIKE A SUBSCRIPTION ITS FOUR ONE DAY REQUIREMENTS NOT 4 30 DAY REQUIREMENTS, THIS WHOLE THING SMELLS ROTTEN ROTTEN TO THE CORE, BIOWARE FEELS BROWN TO ME, WHY DO I HAVE SUCH BAD IMAGERY OF A COMPANY, WHY BIOWARE, WHY LUCASFILSM, WHY DISNEY, WHY EA, WHY DEVELEPORS, WHY INVESTORS, WHY CORPORATE GREED, WHY, WE WHERE GOING TO SUBSCRIBE ANYWAY, WHY DID YOU NEED TO TRICK US, WHY FOUR DAYS, WHY NOT ONE, WHY NOT A CLEARER MESSAGE, WHY WHY WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I just checked on the email thing and apparently not all emails are equal one of them directed me to http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/terms when I clicked the 1 asterick terms, while another email with the link terms of service also promoting KOTFE directed me to hear http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/rewards. Apparently I clicked on the one that directed me to rewards instead of terms, still there is at least one email that directs you towards rewards not terms and I can forward it to anyone that needs proof: “Be the Center of the Story” Photo-Op, and BioWare Story Panel! 11. Actually it wasn't our fault, how were we supposed to know where the terms of service were located, on the promotion page there was no link to it from the asterix. So are we to assume its in their somewhere even though we have to scroll through for more flashy things to get to it. It would only be our fault if EA/Bioware didn't purposefully mislead. If a company wanted to draw attention to it they would have made a link to it or even better spelled it out like it is in the terms of service on the promotion itself. I am starting to believe that the people that have early access are happy that the promotion was misleading, maybe they feel elitist or something. I also feel like some people who are saying they understood it actually didn't and was pleasenetly surprised they had access to it. The people on here that don't have access have a ligetimate reason to vent, the people who are trying to defend something they now is confusing need to ask themselves why? is it because your are bored of the game and or finished and just want to troll All we want is a response from the devlopers acknowldeing our issues, that does not mean they have to honor them, just acknowledge they exist.
  12. When you click on something that says term of service you are suppossed to be directed to the page with the terms of service not the promotion. That what a link if for, clearly for those that did that all they say was the flashy image and not the explanatory sentence that would disqualify them, I know I am not wrong in thinking it should have taking you to the TOS portion without the need to scroll down!
  13. click on the terms of service in the email and see where it takes you, not where it should.
  14. then you are saying its okay that bioware hoodwinked us? because we trusted them! Okay gotcha, so from now on don't buy anything bioware, sounds good! I mean they require us to look at less obvious places for information that cost us time and subscription. Also on the emails if you click on terms of service you go here: http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/rewards Whereas by your own admission we should be directed to the TOS which we are not. this was all figured out after the fact of course.
  15. All the emails direct you to here http://www.swtor.com/fallen-empire/rewards, even the ones that were sent out on the 19th. When you get directed to that page you see early access in bold along with whatever they say you were getting, why does someone have to read further. this is a marketing ploy by bioware plain and simple, this has been proving by now regardless of the disclaimers!
