Unfortunately, I find that extremely unlikely because my schedule is very demanding and so is Anim's. And as I'm sure you know I am extremely elitist ;p and I don't like queuing with people who can't carry me to victory. Originally, I was thinking of putting a group together with some people I could scavenge and then putting it together with Cesc and his people but that didn't really work out. However I still will be around playing normal warzones and criticizing the state of pvp like I have been in this thread. Oh, and I will continue to bug Ordo on my republic toon so he will snuggle with me.

I’m pretty sure I posted about this already a long time ago but I’ll bite again. What do you think competitive pvp is about? It’s not about how we give fluffy bunnies to whomever wins and then skip off into the sunset that’s for sure. Show me one game where trash talking isn’t involved in a ranking pvp style set up. It is shameful to lose and that’s because no one queues up to lose, they queue up to win. The problem is people take the trash talk to heart way too much. And if that’s the problem with why people don’t want to queue or they think trash talking is the problem then perhaps regular warzones is the place for them. I’ll give you an example, CE and OoS talked trashed to each other plenty of times before ranked came out and when ranked was available. We did it to bring out each other’s competitiveness to make ranked matches interesting and actually have a purpose; OoS did this with Sleens and other guilds also. But we didn’t hate each other for it and become elitists and trolls to each other, we kept it to the pvp and moved on. We even had a ton of CE people in our OoS guildwars2 guild. So there’s no “morale boosting” needed, people just need to realize competitive pvp is competitive and they need to deal with it. But all of this above crap is negligible because of my previous post. The Ranked PvP side of Jung ma is dead and there is no one saying they are the best anymore so there is no one willing to challenge it. So what’s the point of being ranked if there are no teams fighting to be the top?

What do you expect? It’s part of the reason why OoS quit...People on this server say they want competition but when it comes to it lets all be honest with ourselves there is none. I wish this game turned out to be better and more organized but until the community grows and there is a merge or xfers available, you can organize all you want but it will never be the same. I’m sorry people think that queuing “in-house” will help them. It completely negates the concept of competitive pvp and takes away the little hope this server has for getting some sort of pvp experience. As someone who only pvp’d on this game, if I still seriously played in these conditions I would most likely go crazy. One ranked queue a night if that is just dumb. Being queue dodged and only have one team on the server that actually made me pay attention was enough for me to never want to take this game seriously again.

I completely agree with wheelerific on this one. Being a known healer on my server whenever I get into a warzone where there is another premade against my group even sometimes in pug groups I am always being targeted. Especially since sorcs not only have strong healing outputs but a lot of team utility like pulling in huttball. It is crucial for the other team to lock down the healer and I know in my team we always do that. That being said, in ranked warzones you will see yourself being focused and the aoe heal is NOT going to help you. That 2 second cast and expensive force use is going to hinder your survivability and movement. Let's just face is a dead sorc is no good. I have not once put a point in that ability and I top the charts every time usually with zero deaths for myself and my group. Your going to want to go up to force surge and then electric bindings.

Why don't you all just stop talking about the crap I don't even care to read and work your butt off like the rest of the battlemasters to get gear. Frankly, I don't want to raid to get pvp gear and I don't want to be hit for like 10k by some stupid sorc that is running around in all pve gear who pvps once in a blue moon. YOU don't like the way pvp is done? Don't do it then. Was I an undergeared new mmo player at one point..yea but you need to put effort in to recieve rewards. And if your a casual player don't ruin it for everyone else I'd almost rather a "Casual Queue" button for pvp so you all stop qqing.

If I'm only healing tidus then how on earth do I do 400k 500k and almost 600k healing in some of the wzs I'm in? I personally do not see any issue with healing and I'm not sure what everyone else is doing but maybe the issue is that you need to crank up your damage prevention a little more. You just need to ask yourself a few questions. Are you keeping bubble up? Are you losing? Are you force slowing someone who is chasing after you? Are 4k-7k crits going to happen on your teammates...most likely, my op and sin do it all the time. You just have to adapt to the situation and stun the person doing lots of damage throw bubble up and hope to god that your teammate has some survival in him too. Now am I saying healers should be able to take on like 3 versus the whole other team. No. Is it possible? Well yea if the other team blows. I'm not saying that this will work for everyone but personally I have been able to heal my team, keep myself alive (unless there's 2 Ops on me but I can take one), and overall not see an issue with the healing debuff cause I can still crank out almost 600k healing and have significantly less amount of deaths compared to the other team against a mediocre group and do pretty damn well for myself to help lead my team to victory against other pre-mades. Now I am not criticizing any of you because you all have valid statements and some truth to what your saying. But you have to come to terms with what your given as a healer and adapt.
