  1. Thought I was going nuts. Same as all above, unable to progress mission as all above. Tried everything in above posts.
  2. Having the same issue. On both characters that I have who are eligible for the mission, I get to the part where I click the terminal and HK starts is dialog, then when the temporary ability bar is supposed to pop up, it doesn't AND the quest icon on the mini-map goes away. I have tried going out of the instanced area (even going to fleet) and resetting the mission, dropping the mission and resetting it and I get the same results every time. I double checked to make sure my UI had the temp ability bar visible where I could see it. The mission just appears bugged.
  3. Having purchased my tickets to http://www.starwarscelebration.com/ I have begun researching costume creation for a TT-16b (http://tor-fashion.com/2013/07/28/tt-16b-master-powertech-imp/) bounty hunter. I am finding that the 501st (http://www.501st.com/) specifically does not endorse custom or non-approved costumes such as actual player character armor for SWTOR. But characters such as Revan are supported. This could be the reason that we are seeing very few SWTOR specific costumes at the cons. The major Star Wars costuming organization does not seem to officially endorse these custom characters. That being said, they do offer a wealth of information on creating costumes of all types and have been very helpful in all aspects of my research. The local garrisons should be your first stop to getting info on your costumes. Endorsed by the 501st or not, I am going to make the costume that I want to support SWTOR. EDIT- I did find a costuming organization that is specifically what I was looking for: http://www.thedarkempire.org/ They support SWTOR class specific costumes.
  4. I don't see anywhere that Bioware has acknowledged this issue and it's not on this list known in game issues, which was updated today: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=403398
  5. Looks like Bioware is not fixing the bug: http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/2.4.0b/1082013
  6. So much for getting the rest of my weekly's done this week before I head off to work. Bioware really should own up to this. Why is this server always going down? What can we expect in the future as far as communication between Bioware and players who spend the majority if not all their play time on Harbinger? I am not paying to transfer all 12 of my characters to another server because Bioware can't seem to keep Harbinger up and running. A response to the community on this issue would be nice. I have been playing and PAYING for this game since early access. I have brought multiple other players to the game who are now subscribers. We deserve an explanation of why Harbinger seems to be down a great deal more than the other servers. The question is, will Bioware answer?
  7. <Sharpclaws> is a small social guild looking for more players to join our casual raids. We do not require guild membership to join the team. Alts of primary raiding toons in other guilds are perfect. Our schedule is typically Tue-Wed-Thur 7p-10p pst. There is no attendance requirement. Our current primary focus is TC/TFB/S&V story mode operations and weekly coms run missions. We often use GF to fill out our teams. Invites typically go out at about 6:30pm. Guild invites are also available to players in good standing with our guild. If you are interested, please /cjoin Sharpclaws in game. I can be contacted directly in game on Leebot or Stims-md
  8. My small guild runs SM/HM Ops/55HM's and more. We are looking for more people to run with and have set up a system where you don't need to be in guild to do so, but we can invite if you'd like. Our only request is that you have Teamspeak with headphones and working mic. Our typical schedule is Tue-Wed-Thur 7p-10p. This is not fixed and attendance is not required. Please /cjoin Sharpclaws in game if you are interested.
  9. Just wanted to put my vote in here as I was heading to the forums to suggest the addition of the day/night cycle. The immersion would go up by a factor of 10 if this was added. I was thinking of all the places that would have cool day/night skylines, Coruscant, Dromand Kaas, Taris... but no. All the planets in the galaxy are perpetually facing a galactic light source.
  10. I am sure I am not the only one, but I have a hard enough time with the F2P players in general chat. I really don't want them on the official forums. The problem, as I see it, is that the F2P system has isolated them into the category of players who don't know anything or appear "stupid". Their game is not the same as ours. The constant barrage of questions about unlocks for this or that is ruining the community, at least in terms of general chat. Trolls are in a feeding frenzy and it's hard not to join them. It's not the F2P player's fault. It's Bioware's fault. The system of paying for basic parts of the game like PVP or Artifact level gear is just silly. Instead of introducing new players into a rich and inviting game, we give them a gimped game where the regular, longtime experienced players shun them. This is NOT a long term model for financial success. I tell everyone I know that if they are going to play, DO NOT go for F2P because it's not the same game. SO... my vote is NO. If F2P players want to post on the forums, give them their own thread that they can post on for their F2P questions and comments that Bioware can respond to so the rest of us don't have to sort through that nonsense like we do every day in general chat.

  14. OK, I give up. But thanks for telling me what I want. Thank you both for reminding me why I have been a user of these forums since the first week they went up, but never come here because people do nothing here but troll. So for anyone else, feel free to troll this thread, I am going to unsub from it.
  15. OK, maybe I was unclear in the OP. I know what a guild web site is. I have a few of my own. I am looking for a specific raid/ops group sign up interface. Again, thanks now to Ifrica for not being helpful. Please don't reply to this thread if you are just going to troll.
