It's not really that unreasonable. Keep in mind that these sorts of bug fixes are not always easy and long-standing bugs that have little impact on appearance or gameplay tend to be lower priority. It's been less than six months since the bug was officially acknowledged and the two high priority items are already fixed, yes? These are the sorts of issues that the team working on costume parts will usually try to fit in between higher priority projects, so it may take quite a while. Especially with the new expansion in the pipeline. Still, it wouldn't hurt to make a list of the currently non-working jetpacks and post it in the bug reports section along with something to the effect of, "It's great that the two new jetpacks were fixed, but it would make my day if you could also fix these longstanding jetpack issues. I would also like to know if there's any sort of estimate when the fixes will be done. Thanks." Something like that. Flies, honey, vinegar, yada yada yada.

ETA on Advanced Class change?
NyxNoxNothing replied to SW_display_name's topic in General Discussion
If they earned both titles then yes, yes it does. To me it seems perfectly fair to receive all rewards you've earned. Let's say an Olympic athlete competes and wins gold medals in two different Olympic events; should they not be eligible for the second medal because they won a medal in another event first? Is that your idea of "fairness"? -
If you could equip any weapon on your characters...
NyxNoxNothing replied to ColaWindstar's topic in General Discussion
Well that would explain why they use melee weapons like axes and vibroblades in combat, wouldn't it? i mean if they normally used a ranged weapon, like a pistol, then it wouldn't make sense to quibble over someone wanting to use an assault cannon instead (since an assault cannon would make an even better bludgeon), but obviously since Powertech is a melee class they use melee weapons. If it was otherwise your objection would just look silly and arbitrary. -

To be fair it's just highly unlikely to be true. Very, very unlikely. Very, very, very unlikely. Y'know, the more i think about it the more i agree with you... Carry on.

SW:TOR's very own great depression?
NyxNoxNothing replied to Jduensing's topic in General Discussion
Everyone simmer down or i'm turning this thread around 360 degrees and driving us straight to hell! (Ah, the joys of being a monorail pilot.) -
Well i do also play FF and a couple other MMOs... *departs after dumping a bucket of carnivorous crickets on the floor*

That was some funny trolling you just did Bioware.
NyxNoxNothing replied to Reno_Tarshil's topic in General Discussion
Well... not so much... -
Because everything about the game's mechanics and backstory changes every six months so no thread can be relevant after half a year, right? Why does an older first post date frustrate you so much? There are a few threads that have been fairly active and posted in regularly for over a year (running to dozens of pages*); do you grit your teeth and quietly scream inside when you see one of them? (Now tempted to set a reminder for myself to post here in August... 2015.) *Whenever forums allow the number of posts per page to be changed i usually set it to at least quadruple the default, so dozens of pages by my count might be a bit more for others.

How many forum posts do you have?
NyxNoxNothing replied to theSCARAYone's topic in General Discussion
At least 2. Possibly more. -
"And nothing of value was lost." *nod nod* That said he'll probably be back within months, and maybe he can bring some apostrophes with him for the OP. (i'd offer mine, but i'm using them.) Welcome back OP, keep the servers warmed for me since i won't be here all the time.

[Please] Lift the grass distance draw hard cap
NyxNoxNothing replied to Deewe's topic in General Discussion
The whole point of the request is to add the option to increase the rendering distance if a player's system can handle it. The default could stay exactly where it is, but this would allow players to customize the distance to their own tastes. In fact you could add an option to turn down settings at the same time, so i don't really understand your objection. This change would just put more control over graphic settings in the players' hands.
