  1. Nope, should wait for it to be announced to go free and then buy it to get the most rewards for it
  2. I'm starting to think EA and BW have a bet going on about which bit of news regarding this game can get the most Rage Quits. They seem to enjoy releasing news that ticks off a lot a people. That being said, first page of this thread pretty sums up my feelings.
  3. Sadly I have to agree. I got the seeker droid not to long ago on my first 55 spent almost 2 hours looking for things before I finally realized that there is WAAAAY more productive things to do with my time than waste it on this crap. FPs, PVP, leveling another class, etc. All of that was more enjoyable than hunting for things and spending most of my time finding nothing.
  4. I don't know about items, but why not passive bonuses like how the datacrons work? It takes a lot of dedication to raise your legacy level as high as 40+ and it would be kind of cool if you got a +2 stat for each legacy level. If you're looking at an item. It would have to be something really showy to make a point. For instance I heard a lot of people talking about wanting an animal based mount. Something like that for the 40+ legacy would certainly fall in line with what you're asking. That being said, I have to agree with what a lot of people are saying with CC. It takes the point out of leveling your legacy at all if all your hard work can be so easily circumvented. Having something that can ONLY be achieved by playing the game would make the prize that much more rewarding after all.
  5. We are? That's funny I always net 4-7 medals in WZ and rank anywhere from the number 1 position to the middle of the bracket overall. Sorry OP, but I don't see it.
  6. Thank you everyone for the continued support. Lets try to get some stars on this topic!
  7. Yes, yes, and more yes! I want to have one of each class, but I want to play both an operative and a snipre since I love the IA class and want to play both versions of it. I would love to see just 1 slot added but would not discourage more
  8. I think the main problem with that is loot being based around what the enemy is + its level. I could also see a lot of trouble being caused by this. So instead of regular xp they just get Legacy xp. Also, as I stated in the first post, side missions once completed shouldn't be allowed to be completed again. How can you save/destroy something again and again. The only part that should be repeatable would be the conversation so high level players can still participate when playing with low level players rather than stand around waiting for the low level player to go through the cutscene
  9. Hmm, I hadn't considered that. Your suggestions might actually work better. So maybe not bolster up lowbies but only drop the high levels to the lower leveled players. That would certainly keep the pvp issue out of the picture. And I kind of like the idea of earning Legacy exp instead of regular exp. My only real concern is making the system something that would encourage high level players to do this. Also I love the idea of a commendation converter. Kind of surprised one wasn't put in game.
  10. Having played a Marauder all the way to 50, I'll agree with the "not solo friendly" part. But my new main which is a Sniper has been doing a damn good job murdering mobs with Kaliyo. Granted I'm still on Alderaan. But I die only when I do something stupid versus my Marauder who took up dying as a part-time job that HE had to pay for. Damn repair costs made sure my Marauder was always broke
  11. That didn't exactly work out well in WZ's so I see no problem with it. If that system had worked we wouldn't have the brakets. If you are referring to PVP-Servers where you could have open world battles on planets like Tatooine and Hoth. Well sadly, if a 50 is wandering around the contested zones, you were at risk for being ganked anyway. But if you meant just Ilum, I highly doubt the level 50 bump will make the lowbie all that better since they will be missing out on quite a few powers. Now if you mean a situation where you're in the middle of a fight with someone your level in open world pvp and a 50 runs in invites the person your battling and bumps them up to 50, I honestly don't see that happening. Since if anything, the 50 would probably just run in and kill you rather than waste time inviting another player just to make it easier for them to kill you. Don't get me wrong, I see where you're coming from. But I don't see it as reason enough to not include this system.
  12. Glad to hear it. I don't want to see TOR suffer from speed-leveling, I just want to see it develop some more teaming systems for players who love to group.
  13. Thanks for the support guys Here's something I just now realized that could be exploited with this system AND here's a way to fix it. World Bosses would be fairly simple if an ops is brought up to that of a high level player like say using a 50 for Coruscant WB and all the teen level players suddenly being level 50. The fix would be to make ALL WB a triggered event. When you click on the trigger give a prompt that says "You will be brought to (WB level). Proceed?" This way when it comes to taking out a WB no one is brought to the level of any other player but the WB itself.
  14. Being an MMO I would think having a system that benefits people wanting to group would be higher in priority than the solo sytem which is great as it is. As it stands TOR feels less like an MMO and more like a 1p game thats supports online play.
