  1. I'm feeling I will do likewise. I am not going to say good bye though, but me, and SW:TOR just need a break from each other for a while ! my current sub runs out mid October, but I am reducing the amount of time I play in game as there is not really much to login for right now. Once my sub ends, I will take a break for a while and maybe come back in the New year, and see what's new. Its healthy anyway to do other things, and feel refreshed to play again some time in the future.
  2. actually sounds really cool ! Plus pick up some tips along the way from some skilled people, who play ? - sounds good !
  3. I tend to think more of us who have been around since the beta, and followed the game for years while it was developed, are more in the category, or feeling underwhelmed and disappointed this far into the actual live game, if you just joined the game in the last few months, you will feel pretty much as we did, last year at beta and early access, as we were all excited and ready to immerse ourselves and our lives, into SW:TOR This far into the game, with prevailing bugs, we reported long ago, and have never been fixed, yet more fluff added to the game, really make me wonder if they even 'can' fix those bugs at all. The comments mentioned about the camera is absolutely true as far as I am concerned, and only really reveals itself as how bad it actually 'is' when you start to play WZ's and PVP in general. The game has always been more focused on PVE content, which is fine if you only want PVE content. So the idea of any balance fixes has always been in the mind of balancing PVE out more, sadly, the nerfs or buffs also affect PVP too, and have often been seriously flawed. Would of made more sense if PVP and PVE skills had been kept completely separate as different entities entirely. Separate skill tree developments and kept apart. While you can't use some PVE skills in PVP, this is not what I am talking about.. because these skills are shared whether you PVP or PVE, so affect both. I would of thought if you were playing WZ's you would have had a separate skill tree progress for PVP mode, so you could in that way of had skills more focused for PVP rather than PVE in mind. I find constant Black hole dailies and pretty much any daily, more of a grind by now, it doesn't matter how much you add more dailies or more FPs or more or anything where you have to repeat and rinse every day, people will eventually find it boring. Lack of innovative Open world PVP, (was never on the list) really, with PVE content taking priority. So leaving a more immersive galaxy, looking more one dimensional, and linear in thinking. I would of liked more things like making allies, not just because your in the same faction your automatically an ally - really ?! so no such things as rivalry then ? - a pub guild might be allied with an imp faction, but its not possible to do that either, because they are automatically classed as enemies. Personal social relationships, and marriage, where is the option to marry some one 'other' than a companion ? or interact with them for social points, by giving 'THEM' gifts ? and awarded affection in return if they accept the gift ?! Seriously ?! - Bioware you didn't really go far enough in creating a game for people to enjoy for the long term. I hate to make posts like this, as I have enjoyed this game since the start, but I am coming to cross roads too and feel not sure about my future with this game. There is of course always the option to take a break and come back later to see if you guys actually did fix any of the problems we have reported, or in fact added anything worthwhile to actually justify the constant subscriptions. I can hope !
  4. Really, I don't like to call people liars but.. I doubt it was 10 hours to BM, I think you are exaggerating a little no ? unless hey you won, all games, did the daily and did the weekly all in one day !!
  5. No, to this, is completely mad ! besides don't compare project to your smash, Project had problems because of what some one else stated above me in this thread. (Class imbalance) on not hitting instantly where the sorcerers does. instant smash.. I shudder to think. Basically how on earth would people ever be able to pop up a counter for that ? so but this would be not actually just over powered but imbalanced too. Warrior classes are already like a Swiss Army knife and jack of all trades. You don't NEED more buffs. Because this is what it would be in the end, and instant smash and kill ability.
  6. yeap I am very concerned about this. It will be an instant kill fest - if you take a guy with his new Elite WH main weapon, with increased damage and beats on the little guy, (some one in recruit or Battle master gear) will be dead in seconds. For other WH's in general will be taking on higher amounts of damage, with out any health buffs to counter this. Seems the developers, aren't happy with the TTK, they want people to die even faster I guess ! There are people running around with 1300+ expertise in their gear, I don't really see any evidence to say that more expertise is NOT actually worth it. It's a good question I guess, if 1200 is actually enough, and you can start adding PVE mods to gear from that point. I have to shudder at the idea of ever adding any pve mods at all to PVP gear though. Really more for that fact, why ?! I mean mods are usually the same, between the PVE/PVP gear, just that PVP mods also have the expertise stat. So I am not really sure at all on this.
  7. completely agree - you have my vote !
  8. To be honest, the PVP developers seem to be out of step with what every one else wants in this game. Maybe out of touch with reality too, considering, no matter what complaints or concerns there are about PVP, their sole aim seems to be "just copy what some one else did" that works right ?! .. right ?
  9. well actually just shows.. takes no skill to play a Mara, or Sentinel.. bash bash any button in random order and watch enemy face melt away !
  10. It seems Bioware fail to learn from their own game. Each time new gear has been added, the strongest faction on a server gets that gear within a few days to a week, while the rest of us, struggle and grind much longer, because of the loosing matches curve you get on lob sided servers that have a bigger ratio of players playing against the other faction. It happened when Battle master gear was released, it happened with War Hero gear was released. The facts and evidence can be seen in countless war zones, where people are face dirt down in the mud, by players who are now fully capped in their gear, wiping WZ's and owning three all three turrets, and getting through doors in no time it takes to burn some one down in lesser gear. New gear is NOT the answer Bioware, and no, its NOT fun grinding for that gear, or don't you bother to read the forum complaints about grinding for PVP gear ??! You need to implement a new WZ queuing system, that is fair to different brackets of players, not allowing War Heroes and soon to be elite god mode war heroes from face rolling everything else below their Tier. Yes I am virtually a full WH, and ask for those changes made to War zones, making us, only play in Rated zones, because the current system is unfair to players way below our gear levels. Adding MORE gear levels means these guys will instead of dying in 5 seconds flat from a full WH with augments, it will means they will - might get insta gibbed instead, enjoy instant deaths.. that's what will happen with new tier gear on players with gear below WH levels.
  11. I'm still dumb enough to play full Deception/Infiltration tree, but more and more people I think should really be looking at a Hybrid now, with Infiltration/Balance, considering the top tier skills of the Infiltration tree are really a joke. its actually quite true by putting the skill points in the extra damage double strike does, you don't even need the pitiful performance of Clairvoyant strike at all. It looks fun, highly impractical though in appearance and actual use. I think this is it. This is how it will be they think, we are to blame for not playing Deception/Infiltration properly, its basically 90% of us who can't learn to play apparently, so therefore will never be fixed.
  12. Those suggested changes to shadow. NO absolutely NOT. Rest seems ok I guess.. If anything its really just the tank tree that still needs some tweaks. Shadowy Veil is an Infiltration spec talent, your basically wanting to nerf this spec even more, in case you don't know Infiltration is the most squishy class there is besides a dps operative ! So nope !
  13. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere about new tier weapons or gear at all.. Source please !
  14. its been happening to me too for some time, its got to the point of being funny, to now really infuriating ! There are countless other bugs I could mention I have noticed recently, that seem to show up more often, but back to topic !
  15. On the TOFN server, it can go both ways.. depends on the team really. Some days its pretty bad on the pub side, but it can turn around against the imps too. People always look to others to blame for why their team lost a WZ, people don't realise they are actually not as good as they think, while calling everyone else a *n00b*. experienced players cant win a game and carry people if people do not even bother to wear the basic minimum gear, or even try or care about objectives and see these people out in no man's land, trying to go solo. People do learn eventually, and will either improve and get better, or just stop playing and blame the developers, but either way if things are actually that bad for you, then I would go with the option of looking for premade teams from your friends list or guild, who you know, and can work with. Some pugs can be good, but there's a lot of bad ones too. Its the luck of the draw really.
