  1. +1 was very pleased to see this I love the cut scenes for the new planets and now fleet its feels a lot more Star Wars.
  2. What ever you get here are some tips that could save you a few ££ Anything over 8GB of memory is a waste unless your planing doing video encoding , video recording or running a ram drive (which is pointless if you have an SSD) all while playing swtor, if your just gaming 8GB of memory is the sweet spot. A quad core processor (i5) is also the sweet spot for gaming unless doing the things mentioned above there isn't any games out there that use more then 4 cores at the moment in fact there aren't many that fully utilize more then 2 physical cores, The extra virtual cores on an i7 can actually reduce performance in "some" games like Arma2 although it's very minimal your basically going to get the same performance from an i5 as you will from an i7 when gaming. Get an SSD, fps won't be hugely effected but loading times are massively reduced, not to mention overall system performance, make sure its a sata3 and your mother board supports that speed. I don't use AMD processors but out of choice I'd take an intel K series as intel "slightly" edges out AMD on performance and power consumption although its pretty minimal and you can't argue with AMD's pricing, The K series means it's fully unlocked for overclocking so you can easily overclock them for a free performance boost as raw grunt speed still has a major impact on gaming performance/fps amusing your graphics card is not **** and bottle necking your fps. Graphics cards I think Nivida are currently offering the best GPUs although I have an AMD GPU myself just get the best you can afford maybe with the cash you could save with the above mentioned tips you could blow it on a better Nivida card. Hope this helps
  3. I have played all three class's of ship a fair bit and no matter what anyone says (you won't change my mind) gunships are easy mode, They practically require no reaction skills or on the fly thinking you can just sit there and rack up kills with one hand on the mouse which says a lot in my book. I'm not trying to offend or troll any GS pilots but in my opinion they don't belong in GSF.
  4. I would love to see a jetpack sprint ability for Mercs similar to force run but maybe a longer CD or maybe it would generate heat something to make it balanced. I feel this would help with our mobility/survivability issues an it would be epic to have a bounty hunter able to use his or her's jetpack.
  5. Since I upgraded my rig I run on max settings, but before my upgrade I found turning the viewing distance down would help a bit with performance along with shadows off.
  6. ffs thought they might of sorted that 0% gpu load rubbish out Thanks for the reply's guys
  7. Hi, I have just read the 2.2 patch notes and noticed this .... Has anyone noticed any fps improvements in WZ's or fleet since the patch ? I reinstalled my OS a couple of weeks back and not reinstalled SWTOR yet to try it myself. Thanks
  8. You people asking for a guard nerf are crazy ! Guard has been unchanged since release, now all of a sudden since 2.0 your crying its OP doesn't that tell you something else has changed and is out of balance since 2.0 ?? aka Healing Picking on tanks only useful pvp skill just because your loving the increased heals since 2.0 is not the answer.
