  1. We need server forum room but grouping servers together is a bad idea. All you need to do is after the pick e.g. from A-C have the list of the server names then you look at the forum for your server. Most people will bookmark but untill then it more of a pain to use. This should be really easy fix and I would put it in soon. Maybe it will make us forget about ilum
  2. That inst the marauder that is Quinn loll. OP Quinn, do that with another comp or solo and we will be impressed.
  3. A processor would of been a better investment. Running on a HDD 1tb and a 4.0ghz i7 quad, I never even notice loading screens.
  4. I think your really missing the point of this game if you want to rush.
  5. Totally Disagree I play MMO's to have fun with my friends and meet new to do some in game stuff. Personally the eliest jerk who dont let me in a group, complain because I miss clicked in a PvP match and block the mail box's with there mount because they have nothing better to do with there time are what put me off MMO's and give the games a bad name. I am personally hoping that this game will be fun for all but being as they are not the majority I hope bioware makes this game the most fun for the majority of players and not the hardcore few.
  6. I dont understand why you are "Grinding" That makes no sence. For PvE player you play PvE content to down the boss. The first time is the sweetest once you done it once or twice its on farm mode and the appeal is lost. We PvE for the first kill then we need the loot for the next set of PvE encounter we come across. In PvP you PvP cause u want to fight people. It isnt grinding when your doing your content. You should be enjoying PvP and not thinking of it as a grind. We have to grind PvE content for the next tier you dont need to be grinding PvP content.
  7. Personally I find it a bit funny because as a Huge PvE player we have been dealing with the RNG monster for ages killing the same boss again and again and still not getting that 1 piece we needed to finish off the set. Personally I feel there is nothing wrong with random chance as long as there is a backup to stop someone going forever not getting that 1 piece of gear they needed. 1 System I've seen which could work really well was found in Plants Vs Zombies. People have been complainning they cant finish there zen gardens because we need 1 or 2 plants so you can now buy box'es with 25%-50%-100% chance of getting somthing you need. This could easy work with bags they come alot more greater cost so you need 5times the amount of tokens e.c.t. but then that comes with a 100% chance of getting what you need. Another option avaible is having an another currency that you get alot less of what can be used to buy a item straight out right. Personally these will just lead more players to want it just brought straight out like in other MMO's. I think being as PvE has been dealing with the RnG monster I see no reason why it a huge deal to PvP but there need to a be a fail safe in place that means your not spending 3months trying to get your last piece.
  8. It was coded in for beta testing as a easy key easy to get at. It will be fixed pretty soon as long as we just let them know. Sending it as a bug in bug report was quite funny
  9. OK my idea for a looking for group system come from not enjoy the WoW system and wanting to keep group's on the same Server. The LFG should work abit like a lobby system without being in a lobby. You put your self up on a list, This should be done with tick box's. SO for e.g. I'l would Be showed as Smuggler lvl 10, DPS, Black Talon. If i dont want to make a group then I can sit there. Then you have a option where somone can make a group (make a game if were going back to the lobby system) That person can search through all players that have listed them selfs for groups and filter accordling. Then place everyone they picked into a lobby then once everyone it happy they click a button and bang its a group. Then you all meet up doing your question and get a high five at the end. This would need to be its own button on the UI otherwise no one uses it lol. I think in games like league of legends or world of tanks the custom game finder systems works so well that I dont see a reason why the princables wouldnt work in a MMOLFG. Instant locking people into a group I believe wouldnt work due to player might not want to play with x person and locks and blocks should be allowed. E.g. you can block a player from inviting you because he ninja'ed your amazing helm for his comp lol. On a personal note I havnt had any issues finding groups I dont spam chat or in a guild. I message people asking them if they would be intrested in doing X. It works REALLY well. 90% of the time players want to do the content and I can see if there a Jugg or Power tech and ask if they can tank / heal (for healing classes) as I myself play DPS. But I dont know if players know they can talk to each other and not spam chat.
  10. Normally these issues come down to, two main problems. The first is the speed and gap that peopl level at. If you have been playing this game like for a few hour a day then you wont have trouble ever finding a group due to the majority of players being around your level. If on the other hand you have been playng more hardcore then finding people around your level its going to be alot harder. These is just what happens when a game launchs and people go at it with different mentallity. A LFG would be nice around the 2-3month mark as long as it only across server so if you meet a player who good, had a laught with then you add as a contact. I feel the people who generally are calling out the loudest are the power levels who dont want to spend 30mins talking to people because thats time they could be level'ing. I have just reached 50 my self and never had a issue with finding groups. I didnt spam general chat and im not in a guild. I message indervisuals i saw online and normally 90% of the time people wanted to do the content this also applys for the H4's. Unforunity system's like LFG have conditioned players not to think about how to get a group. They just spam chat and dont really talk to players. Maybe in a few months LFG will be needs but for now players need to remember how to talk to each other.
  11. OK clearing a few points up. Bioware have already said that they are adding a bracket for lvl 50's soon. This is because there is now a steady stream of hardcore players that have reached the 50 bracket and exp stat will make it unfair. During the start of a game people just want to get in a try pvp. Have fun by having the doors wide open this means faster que times which is what people want. Bioware have said that the avg player spends 5hours a day playing so reducing the time waiting is important. Yes it is unfar with full tree's and abilities to use but doesnt make player less viable at lvl 24 all class's have a CC. I am sure as the game ages that level up PvP wont be that important. Othere option then become avaible like putting groups into 2 brackets, 10-29 and 30-49. Personally I can see this happening later on but for now I personally dont see a problem.
