  1. Hmmm, I've been subscribed since launch except for a short period where I was down because I had a new credit card. Yet I'm showing less transactions.
  2. I have 2350 because I originally bought the digital deluxe, but then found the collectors edition for 30 bucks last month and picked it up. I'm not sure how you'd get up to 2500 though.
  3. I couldn't see my coins from work on my MacBook Pro (using Chrome), but at home from my Win7 machine (using IE) I finally discovered I have 2350. I found the Collectors addition for 30 bucks last month so picked it up for a big coin bonus. Plus I now have Darth Malgus overlooking my desk at work.
  4. I would do more space missions, but I have an eye condition that renders me partially color blind, and eliminates most of my peripheral vision. Between the two I just can't manage them beyond the easiest levels. My wife does them all the time.
  5. I started the event, but rapidly grew bored. The previous event was a bit tedious at times, but at least had some items I wanted, It was also kind of fun spontaniously combusting from time to time. This event really has nothing to draw me in. If it grows more interesting later, perhaps I'll join in the fun. I'm not upset by any stretch, it just doesn't appeal to me, so I won't do it. If the goal of the event was to hold peoples attention until they can get some other content out, I'm not sure this one is going to fit the bill for many people.
  6. I ignore the roleplaying elements of legacy, as they don't fit with the backgrounds I've developed for my characters. That said, the other perks can be kind of fun. There's no reason not to set a Legacy name, just hide it on all your characters, then use the stuff you can buy with Legacy levels. If nothing else, the ability to unlock the other playable races is worthwhile.
  7. I miss the difficulty level settings on City of Heroes. You can tweak difficulty in instances up and down. It basically just increases or decreases level of mobs and/or spawn size, but it means if you run into a mission you just can't beat you can lower it down a bit. You don't get as much experience, but you can pass whatever bottleneck you are stuck in. Also if things are to easy, you can turn it up a bit and gain experience correspondingly faster.
  8. I'd love to be able to customize all sorts of colors, just because I'm color blind and Bioware's color choices are not always friendly to people like me. I still can't tell for the life of me what color those little loot beams of light are going up into the sky when you kill somebody.
  9. You can turn headslot on/off in the UI. Bring up your character screen. There's the button in the lower right (I think, don't have access to the game right now). It brings up the buttons for unifying colors, and hiding head slot. As I said, I don't have the game open at the moment, so my memory may be slightly flawed, but the button is definitely there.
  10. Helping is fine. I get cranky when somebody brings in a high lvl and just lays waste to the area, leaving nothing for any of the other players. As long as you are just helping them along in their normal progression, that's totally cool. Saying you aren't even allowed in the area is ridiculous, as there are often quests that send high lvls back to the origin worlds.
  11. Some sort of tweak to the social system is really in order. I have one character who's social is greater then 5. I play him solely grouped. I have another who's my solo toon. I play her when nobody else is around. The thought of grinding her social points up to a lvl where she could wear some of the gear is abhorrant. She'll just never have the cool social gear, because I'm not willing to run Black Talon over and over and over to get those points up.
  12. I know I'm biased, because the game I've previously played most is City of Heroes, which is the ultimate in character customization. That said, more is always better. I think developers often underestimate the importance of being able to have your own unique look, at least to a large subset of players. If they could add even one more face, hair, ornament, tattoo, or whatever per major expansion, people would be thrilled. Add a few more social outfits and they'll win the eternal devotion of a a good chunk of players who care far more about their look then almost any other facet of the game. I know at least 2 people who gimp themselves at least somewhat so they can look how they want. You may call them foolish, but that's what gives them enjoyment, and they aren't alone. There's an even larger group who are tempted to, but just can't quite bring themselves to put on the lesser gear. If the gear was there though, they'd wear it and be happy.
  13. If the fee is reasonable, I'd pay. I'm an altaholic, I like making lots of characters. I also like to have the option of seeing a friend has started a new toon, and rolling up a quick one to join him.
  14. You need to use Bootcamp to load windows onto your Mac, and can then run it from there. I run it on a newish (less then 1 year old) 15" Macbook Pro (upgraded to 8 gigs RAM) and it runs great. I had to turn off shadows, but otherwise I can keep most of the graphics cranked up. I tried to run it under VMWare Fusion, an emulator, and it failed miserably. Go with a straight bootcamp install.
  15. That's what this game needs. Cup holders. I looked all over my ship, and on my speeders. No cupholders.
