  1. This is exactly what I mean. Only the items that are locked to a particular class. Watch how many ninjas start coming out the woodwork now we've got the finder.
  2. So you prefer people taking stuff meant for you that they can't use? Interesting....
  3. Just a suggestion, putting in here since the problem is usually going to be seen in instances. Can we please have some eligibility logic put into the loot system? To stop the following happening... Last night I did a random HM. Me and another Inquisitor, a Warrior and an Agent. On the final boss an item dropped that was Inquisitor only (and the republic equivalent) - a bracers token I think it was. The warrior Needed and won it. I Greeded since it wasn't an upgrade but the other SI needed it. Now the warrior has a useless token that I'm not even sure is worth any vendor credits and the other SI is still in low level bracers. This sort of thing is going to get a lot worse now that the finder tool is live. Same thing happened in WoW when they added the dungeon finder. People think they have a degree of anonymity so don't care about screwing people over. Just something that auto-passes you if you're not the right class is all it needs. I'm only talking about the stuff that's actually locked to specific classes, not "that's a tank item not a dps item" or "you don't need crit" conflicts (which is another discussion for another day).
  4. I know I'm probably missing something so hopefully someone here can set me straight. I'm a Synthweaver and a Corruption SI. I made myself an almost complete set of Vehemence Force Master gear ages ago. I'm now doing operations and hard modes and stuff and finding the drops/token hand ins are not upgrades, at least as far as I can tell. It seems as though Willpower is a weaker healing stat than Power/Force Power when it comes to the direct bonus to healing (1302WP = 182.9 Bonus Heal, 602Power = 103.2 Bonus Heal). I know Willpower does other stuff as well but when I replace my Vehemence head slot (126 rating but was critically crafted so has a +18 Power augment) with the Columni Force Mystic head slot (136) my heals are actually weaker (the little green numbers are smaller). I know I get some crit and surge but I lose a lot of alacrity as well. Here's the change: 32 Armour 45 Endurance 25 Willpower -77 Power 53 Critical 48 Surge -77 Alacrity (This is just the head slot item but the other gear is similar, way less Power, slightly more Willpower) When I make that change (Vehemence out, Clomumni in) my heals are smaller and it takes longer for me to completely heal up my target. I know I'll get some increase when I crit but I'm also casting a lot slower because of the Alacrity loss. I tested it out on Xalek (just sent him in to an elite and let his health drop then heal him back up) and I get him back up much faster in my lower level crafted gear. Not a great test obviously but I'd rather get it right before I let my guildies die in an operation Am I missing something or is an augmented 126 actually better than an operation 136 drop? Really starting to bug me.
  5. Tried 2 PC's, Chrome, ie9, Firefox - all the same problem with the greyed out button and no characters/servers in the lists. From: The Harbinger (North America) To: Dalborra (Asia Pacific) Characters: Derriden, Jinx'xi I've got the names reserved with level 1 characters. I was planning on waiting til the transfer had completed, deleting the two level 1's and then logging in to my transferred toons and changing the name to their original names at that point. Two questions: Is there some sort of waiting period or is the name of a deleted character made available instantly? Will test this out now with a new test character. (EDIT: Tested this, deleted a toon then created new straight away with the same name, worked no problem) Is there some built in logic that will stop this working? Like, does the 'change character name at first login' thing block your desired name by default cos it 'knows' it's not available? Little 'clever' things like this are put in software all the time.
  6. Anyone heard anything about the progress of the Android version? Playing in Australia and the store won't let me buy the physical authenticator. Even if someone from the US tries to place my order it doesn't accept non-US/Canada credit cards. Funnily enough, I was able to buy a subscription with an Australian credit card. So I can pay for the game and time but not secure my account cos I did away with the crap that was my iPhone. Any chance of allowing me to buy the authenticator so I'm secure until the Android version comes out?
