  1. Guys!!! I totally think this is actually happening. Watch Big Bang Theory this week. The guys are seen hunched over laptops with headsets and they talk about a whole weekend of Star Wars gaming. I've only seen them hunched over like that with MMOs (i.e. Age of Conan and WoW) I'm definitely excited to check it out.
  2. I'd assume it'd be like becoming a Jedi Knight. Some council member goes up and says "You are now married." The end.
  3. It's hard to come up with a class that is unique enough to be distinguished from others considering advanced classes. Plus a class unique enough to have a fleshed out storyline. SWG classes can't really be in this since they're merely weapon specializations for the most part. Either that or non-combat oriented. All your typical responses won't work here. Assassin - done with agent Engineer - not combat oriented (plus we all are engineers with reverse engineering) Any ideas?
  4. When my BH does the Unload ability and rapidly fires lasers at a target who dies before the channeled cast is finished........it won't stop firing sometimes. I have to use another move to stop it..
  5. Obviously they won't do this now. But I'm assuming at some point later (most likely next expansion) they'll introduce flying mounts into the game. At that point I think BHs should be able to just use jetpacks instead. Kind of like Druid Flight Form for you former WoW players.
  6. This was a question that's always bothered me with the prequels. The Sith revealed their existence in Ep. 1 when Maul was sent after the Queen and her entourage. But I was always wondering why Palpatine chose to reveal the Sith at all. Wouldn't it have been better to operate in secret until the time was right in Ep. 3?
  7. Coruscant. I love the concept of an entire planet as 1 giant city.
  8. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be dumb. I think part of Maul's appeal was his lack of dialogue and constant mystery surrounding him. On a superficial level he's awesome, but we just don't know much about him. I'm worried if we do learn more we'll end up being disappointed. As far as plausibility goes, I think it is possible. Sure he got cut in half, but Anakin got cut nearly in half AND was lit on fire and STILL survived.... Now we see Maul with a mechanical lower body which means he took the Vader route.
  9. I have to admit, I've defended the prequels for years, even Episode 1. But I haven't seen Episode 1 in years and I finally did in theaters with the 3D release. I have to say, I was disappointed. First off the 3D is really not good at all. I went because I figured when it came to special effects, Lucas knows his business. (I mean we're talking about THX, Skywalker Sound, ILM, etc.) But this was a total failure 3D wise. Disney animated movies do a better job. Also, I forgot how irritating the movie truly was. If it wasn't for the Pod-racing and Darth Maul, there would be nothing good about it. Jar Jar Binks of course is a major reason why. Before I saw this release I thought people were too hard on him but this is definitely not the case. They deliberately try to make him the comic relief but they do so in such a childish way that it's not even funny at all. I seriously feel the entire Gungan race was created to be laughed at. Plus little Anakin just didn't do it for me. I know he's a kid but there are a lot of better kid actors out there who could sell this character for me. Overall if there wasn't any action on screen, it was torture. On a side note. I did notice that Yoda is now completely digital. He wasn't in the original Ep. 1. Oh and I swear Bioware got the recuperate animations for the Jedi Knight and Sith Inquisitor from that scene between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul when they were stuck on either side of the red shield during the final duel. (Qui-gon kneeling down with Maul pacing back and forth)
  10. Well I personally think, philisophically, the Sith aren't evil. The famous quote I read was that the Jedi believe the Force to be an end in itself. The Sith believe the Force to be a means to an end. However, practically speaking, I think the Sith do tend to be evil. Here's why I think so.. The Sith always want to ascend the power ladder. They think complacency leads to being stomped on, so they always fight on. They have no respect for those who are weak. The problem with this is that since the Sith are constantly trying to better each other, their standards for weakness rise as a result. The punishments adjust accordingly. It gets to a point where extreme punishments are used for minor grievances. Because killing off rivals is encouraged by their masters, turning the "killing" off is a struggle. Plus since passions fuel the Force for them, I think anger is just the most effective one to use hence they find any reason to get pissed off. But regardless every individual is different. It isn't fair to generalize the Sith and the Jedi. Though since anger and chaos are embraced, the Sith tend to accept "d-bags" more often into their ranks so you'll end up seeing the more naturally evil people being part of the order.
  11. Wait what's wrong with having these? I've never used them in WoW but others using them didn't affect me whatsoever....
  12. From what I've heard, in GW2 you also have tons of different abilities but you can only use 10 at a time. (5 weapon-based skills and 5 other types) So which 10 you pick is up to you but that's all the slots you have to work with.
  13. I don't agree because Starkiller was a game character. One where the Force is shown as being insane. You could put other Jedi in that scenario and they'd be able to pull off what he did because of how that game is. Doing the Star Destroyer part in Force Unleashed was torture.
  14. Greedo.. We met him for like what....2 min?
  15. Obviously Shadow. It's fun to try the other AC but it won't be so gripping that you could stick with the exact same class story. Shadow gives you that different AC feel along with a new story.
