  1. Fair enough mate, your choice. But remember that everyone will have Biochem too =)
  2. Bad choice I think. Maybe one of the worst decisions you will make in your SWTOR history
  3. They will definitely balance the other professions with Biochem sooner or later. If your already 400 Artifice or similar, you might as well wait for now, since you gotta be well pissed if they announce major changes to professions in say, a month's time. Just wait until their profession revamp is announced/implemented, then decide what suits you best and whether Artifice is still useless or not.
  4. cmtopolski, that is incorrect because only crafters can obtain augment slots in their custom gear. And having your majority of items fitted with an augment is vastly superior to any other bonuses the game is going to provide from other crafting profs in the near future (that's how it appears to be anyway).
  5. My point is, if you can soon remove all the mods from every single gear piece out there, why don't you create your own custom gear sets with augment slots to effectively get the best gear available + an additional augment for maximum benefit. This appears to be working if indeed all armour items can get an augment slot.
  6. Nice one. So which items are capable of achieving an augment slot? Any sort of evidence based information available on that?
  7. Keep going bro, keep going... It's all down to luck. Purple may take a while sometimes. Best of luck
  8. Could you provide a source for this statement please?
  9. It has been confirmed on various occasions that this is indeed possible, i.e. orange gear can be crafted critically in a sense that they provide an augment slot. So if that's true, then Armortechs and Synthweaving will become the best profession in game, I suppose. Not many people may realize this just yet.
  10. I know I am not supposed to, but a gentle *bump* for clarification
  11. Thanks for that! So meaning, the best prof you can actually choose for PvE and arguably PvP is either Armortech or Synthweaving?
  12. So just to clarify; will people who craft their own gear have an advantage in the end? I am kinda confused about this really. How does this system work where you can take out mods and put it into gear intended for the same slot? And will crafted gear be superior because it does have an augment slot in it? Btw, thanks a lot for all the constructive replies!
  13. Heya, I have a quick question about custom crafted gear; given the fact that you can gain an augment slot in them, aren't they the best PvE/PvP gear pieces in game? Couldn't you just take out the parts from other PvP/PvE gear and put them in your custom item, as well as add an augment slot to gain even better stats? Would be great if someone could clear this up. Thanks
  14. Why does everyone have to whine about everything? Your being spoon-fed one of the most fun games in a very long time, with so many great and fun things to do, the game is only out for a couple of weeks and all the majority of players can do is cry, whine, complain... it's like one massive kindergarten on these forums -.-
  15. Thing is though, it's probably very difficult to fix. While it is a very annoying factor, you can't just change the coding like that overnight and fix the bug. It may take a very long time, and it could actually be possible that it will never be entirely fixed - this is because you can't just change some of the codings which have gone behind this at this point. You can be sure that BioWare dedicates a lot of resources to fixing this, but depending on the source of the problem, it may just be a very difficult task that takes a lot of time/cannot be entirely solved. I guess we all gotta be patient and see what happens.
