  1. Can you please add Dye Ceremonial Yellow to the CM as direct purchase? It is this one ---> https://i1.wp.com/torf.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Ceremonial-Yellow.jpg?ssl=1 It is the last yellow dye in the ''yellow dye module'' list on this link from tor fashion (click ''Yellow'' tab on the page from this link, to see the yellow dye module list appear): https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/dye-modules/ I love this dye, but it is not in the CM Dye list, and so few of them are on the GTN on SF/DM. I would love to buy at least 20 or so... for each my toons companions.. to make the look complete for them. But this task is almost impossible to do now when I can not purchase it myself directly & also that others can not obtain it. Please add this dye to the CM as direct puchase, that will help a lot. <3 Thanks in advance and all the best for 2019!
  2. I do not agree with the conclusion on point 1. We want to change our mods/enhancements with full freedom to do so. More importantly I want my Item modification being able to bind to my legacy armor set who I use for most my toons at level 70. Am I correct that I read now here, that we are not able to do so anymore?? With so many characters created it will be impossible and not fun to play endgame with my toons if this is not possible. I find changing stats fun, it adds another layer of tinkering with your character and makes the game less shallow. it is fun to always experiment with stats. I really advise to remove this change and make it the way it was before. I know most people enjoyed this freedom too. Some compliments: I just returned and played the story, it was short but fun, the daily area and the datacron farming was fun, thank you for that. I mainly loved to see Master Ood Bnar! I really appreciated that and also the tuning! It was amazing the whole experience with farming that datacron and interacting with Ood Bnar!! Thank you for that. <3 So just to remind you you get good compliments from me also, but do please remove this change you did with gearing on ''point 1''. Greets and best wishes for 2019.
  3. No that would be weird, same as Dread Master masks who moved. I ask then instead for you to make another mask who can be sold seperate from the CM set we got now. I do love this set a lot, just like you, but I do not want the facial animations, that is not what I payed for. So BIOWARE if you do this, make a seperate identical mask sold solo, for the people who are into this. Thank you. PS: (BTW Thank you BW for this awsome Clothing set + Blade and also the cool stronghold and decorations!! And for fixing some armor bugs like Darth Malak's headpiece who stretched like crazy in cutscenes! And fixing that zakuul boarding pod missing textures, and there are some other things. <3 Anyways, you guys are on a good track with fixing and making cool things people like and want. I appreciate that, Thank you. <3)
  4. (Summary---> ENHANCED SHADOWS fixes continous ''Random Textures that pop/flash in your screen'') MORE DOWN BELOW! ''Random Textures that pop in''? To what do you refer with this? Are you talking about Artifact Flashes that pop up? and.... (this guy has it a lot....) Who are from NPC's that get spawned and that the flash is actually the loading and placement of the texture what gets smeared over the entire screen? If so i have an decent fix for you for this: --> Turn on Enhanced Shadows. If it is really this bug you are talking about. It is indeed very nasty! And tbh I could also not play anymore almost, it was that dreadsome, I tried to do everything with the game on the outside, and then I turned on ''Enhanced Shadows'' while experimenting with the graphics inside the game..... and this Fixed it!! I was like ***. Seems to what I recall from 2016 december 5.0 release until and in stages during last year in february/may in 2017 that to more and more people this bug suddenly popped up in the game, and it seems that the introduction of ''enhanced shadows'' later in the year afther 2017 june or so, fixed unknowingly this bug. A lot of people report about it, but nobody I have seen so far from bioware or the audience can make clear to eachother what is going on with several people who are affected. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=903817 https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Video-Cards-with-Artifacting-after-5-0/td-p/5739739/page/13 For Bioware: So Bioware if you are reading, turn of ''Enhanced shadows'' on a average computer with 1060 nvidea/ryzen 580 and walk around on korriban starting are with the klorslugs/ or ride around on voss (where those purple creatures spawn), just try to continiously load this creatures at your beginning draw distance, if you do not see something flash through your screen for a sudden second, just ride around for 2-3 more minutes and continously try to get npc's pop up at your draw distance. It should happen without ''Enhanced shadows'' so I hope you see it on your screen if not, just private message me. Because we need a fix for this, a lot of people complained about it and have no idea it can be decently fixed with ''Enhanced shadows'' and you as bioware need to look into this, because even with enhanced shadows, it will be 10x less sometimes a flash still comes, luckily it is then not that irritating, but still a nuisance if you are on a planet, enjoying the scenery, with a lot of creatures around you and you ride through this beautifull landscape... and then ''FLASH'' ^^ PS: People with up to date PC's turn on ''enhanced shadows'' on now as auto, so they hardly notice it luckily. If you have an old rig who has trouble to run swtor with enhanced shadows (BTW this is funny you do NOT NEED to turn on SHADOWS to turn on ENHANCED SHADOWS!!! IMPORTANT, so do not worry you do not need to turn of aditional shadows to burden your PC, it is completely seperated from the normal shadows. If you wonder why, it is because it is an effect that is added to objects what is an black sphere effect on a object what if it comes into the influence of an other object will give a small dark hue to this other object, and ENHANCED SHADOWS wil fix the artifacts flashing mostly because the game, has now the command/tendency to load first this hue, and then the texture. So if the texture gets loaded raw, it has the tendency if the GPU of the PC straggles a bit with loading or simply from certain angles a creature gets loaded you get these artifacts. so do not worry there is a fix but we need to fix this issue by not doing this. And sorry for my bad text I am tired. If you still have questions and do not understand my brabbling then just PM me, greets!
  5. See what I said in previous message! ^^ thanks <3 for the good work with fixing bugs! :3 I also saw that the shadows on yavin 4 starting area where fixed! I forgot to say that, thanks! <3
  6. For me too. Thanks for keeping us up to date what is going on. Btw Eric thank the team for me for fixing the Darth Malak armor set!!! It was bugged for years in the neck region in cutscenes that it stretched out like crazy. I am happy even though it is finally fixed afther all this time, thanks! <3 it is 1 of my favorite sets. Glad to see you guys finally fixing stuff also for some other bugs I saw, like that decoration of the Zakuul Boarding Pod. So thanks for focussing on these things I appreciate it, that is a good sign. <3 Keep up the good work.
  7. I agree, this really messed up the feeling I feel to just grind some more few points to let my guild win, it ruined the emmersion anyways. The previous design was better done and worked. Btw what do you think of the points what I said in my previous post Jedijoy?
  8. Thank you for trying your best with voicing your concerns JediJoy, it is appreciated. And al the best luck to you. I agree they should revert this change, I do not bother also to do conquest anymore, and same for most of my guild. What do you guys think if PVP gear comes back? They said they will make that now, since last stream, eventhough they complained about it it is hard to make. I think they make another great mistake with this. If you want to know why, read this forum thread we disccussed last few weeks: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=946865 But it is about that the 1 gear system is great (more cargo space/ less of an roadblock switching between PVP/PVE gear), the only bad part of it was at first when 5.0 came out that it was too grindy, now bioware wants us back to grinding 2 gears again, with the problems that PVP players have trouble to PVE when they want and vice versa. And we need to have 2 gears to carry around if you want to do both parts of the game (so it will require more inventory slots). More importantly I certainly think because PVE'ers where in the past less eager to queue&go into for PVP because of this gear issue (and you can think but we had a lot of pops! but that because there where more players in the game back then), so if we reintroduce this roadblock again into the game with an lower population that we will get even more of an problem for PVP queues. This is not good. I would think almost because they said in stream it is hard to make (so by admmitting it upfront), that they are in some unconscious way hoping we will answer, ''yes please cancel it''. If that is so, please please do so! Because why on earth are you working on what you admit what is to to much of an effort/ spending so much time to make for a new complete systems to the game what we time and again proof we do not like!? And needs months afther that tweaking to go to an sweet spot we all prefer (but the damage is then done). Imo if you do not stop with this new project, then I think it will be the same way as what you did to Conquest + you spend to much unnessary time and effort.. I do not trust bioware with this anymore, and I have the right to say so, if you wonder why think what they did? Like I said before, considering the 2 years of changes they did, and wanting us to grind for a long time (as long as possible), there is 9/10 chance it will be again super grindy, and not thought true what consequences it will bring. Time and time again they proof this. That is painful to see. So please people, we must ask them to talk openly about their plans before this goes again to far, and spend unnecessary time & effort again on what something we probably do not like. This can be used elsewhere (like for new content for a new warzone map/ops/story or whatever). Next time we need to hear from bioware what they want to do,so they can hear from us if we like it or not, before they implement their changes, otherwise we will be continue on this downward spiral. I am sure we can do this but we must break this dilemma, can we not while we login to the game click on an menu where they can ask with an Poll what we like or not? I mean they did this before a few times with an email, I appreciated this, this should be done more. Anyways I would like to hear what you guys think of what I said before (check the link read it what we discussed in PVP forums) and to be short, we should keep with the systems we have/had in the game, and just tweak it like they did it with Galactic command (imo this needs also a bit more tweaking but not an major overhaul again what they did to the other parts of the game). And sorry if I talk with a long text, but I am tired and want to post before I forget it. Greets and peace.
  9. Thank you btw for warning us before hand what you are proposing, I do appreciate that, now we can discuss it with the all of us here on this forum. Please do that more with future topics months beforehand if you plan for small/ but mainly with major game changes. Now to the topic... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also do not agree to nerf so much the damage of a Tank who has the correct gear, that he needs to suffer from someone else misusing the system. It is not fun, it is simply not fair. And I am no tank player nowadays, but I must say I enjoyed it while playing it once in a while, I liked what you guys made the tank now how it feels imo with the correct gear, and I think most of us do. It feels cool to play it imo, and what you do will ruin the fun and emmersion I think for the players who want to play as a normal tank. It will suck that you are unable to kill any adds 50% less faster with that 1 attack combined with the other reductions, it does not feel fun and because of this it is a bad game change. I propose something else, like this for example: Just make it so, that once a tank wears not a shield/absorption enhancement with tank mod + tank armor in each set of gear of clothing, that then the shield does not work. That will fix I think in an easy way most of the issue with skank tanks. This is an idea what I have come up just now, but imo I find it better what the bioware team proposes here.
  10. Thanks for the very good post. I agree what you said. Please tell this to other people who are unaware about these points what you explained in this post of yours. More people should know of what you said.
  11. This is a very good point you make here! I completely agree what you said here. But I do think when we return to PVP/PVE gear we get even more of an grind then before. If you wonder why I think this, then look at what they did to the latest grind systems they introduced like the new Conquest and Galactic Command when it got first introduced in 5.0, this is their trend unfortunately. And anything new, would be likely the same or even a bit more of a grind. Bioware wants us to grind for as long as possible. That is the problem imo. I really hope it wont end up like that, but do prepare yourself for disappointment if it turns out like this. That is why I say it is better to keep it the way it is, or make it a bit more easy to grind with the system we have right now. Like I said, anything new will be probably worse or will take another 1 year or so before it is at a point we like, and I am not looking forward to that again. I hope you understand the worry of my point. And I think we can keep the good parts of the current system and also make it better or avoid bioware to spend to much time on making this software (like I said they notified us in stream a few days ago) + by pushing bioware more into making the grind less of a grindfest (like what you aim for, and I agree), I think this is a better approach for this. We can solve all the problems in 1 blow by keeping and tweaking the system we have right now. I worry also about players you mentioned, or old friends who did that. And about ops.. hmm I do think we can easily fix that by for example that we can something extra special drop there (just an idea), like an extra gear token (like a 3rd relic), what is useless in warzones perhaps for example? In that way we can make ops a bit more grindy to balance things out? Like you mentioned. I mean the possibilities are endless, and we better can change with what we have right now then to get something we have no idea what it will be. I wish bioware was more open about their plans or asks us how it will look like.
  12. I think you did not understood my message, what you say you want to use bolster to make up for the loss, what I say that is a great idea, but it leads to the same conclusion, it is then more or less the same gear, and bolster adds up the stats then, what is then the point if there is no difference between the 2 in the end? Because it is not, it is then in in its essence the same gear. It is better to sell then 2 different clothing sets, with same identical stats from 2 different vendors 1 aquired through PVP other through PVE, in that way any headache of calculating all the extra differences into bolster will then be avoided. There is no point in this, and trust me, if bioware introduces this, it will not be the same as we had in 4.0, that was heaven for PVP grinding (a bit to easy). They always aim for a long grind, look at what they did to conquest/galactic command when it was 1st introduced. Point of my previous post was, I get your idea, but it is to much of an headache what bioware even admits in last interview few days ago, and I bet they do not want to be bothered to bolster people in open world PVP to PVE numbers and vice versa. Best is to stick what we have now, and make the grind more easier or more rewarding for PVE/PVP not the other way around, because otherwise that is what we will get.
  13. There are unfortunately a lot of bugs with Cartel Market clothing/weapons etc. A lot of people think that bioware focus on the CM and it's items, and thus is not bugged, but that is like I said unfortunately not true. There are so many cool clothing items from the CM that for years not get fixed (like Darth Malak chest robe what is bugged in the neck with stretching for 4 years or so since it's release). I hope they fix these issues, because we people pay for them, and we get broken items in return. I found out luckily to make nice mixmatches by using pieces of clothingsets I like all together to make something else what is cool and not bugged. But yeah it is sad, I think 30-40% of all gear of the CM has 1 medium or a few major bugs at max. I am not kidding. (Jedi temple guardian set face mask for example stretches in the face when a character talks, a lot of chest robes clip through the lower robe at the back when characters walk like with the Gifted Shadow set (only a few robes have not this bug like the latest jedi master robe set) Gloves of the emperor clothing set clip when you draw a weapon it does not follow the hands, I can go on like this with a lot of sets.. Tulak Hord's frontal flaps clip when you jump/or in cutscenes in your back, that your head clips through the hood of the Darth Malgus set often with the ears and cheek, or that when the hood is gone you can look through the chest of your character etc etc... it is better to use no robes/weird gloves or masks or capes, because most of them have bugs..)
  14. I understand what you try to say, but I had to read it a few times to understand it completely. I do like your idea of thought, and in some way it is a good idea, but!!..... a big but... you forget that there are also people who like to do both PVP and PVE content. So let us say they grind first PVP gear, because they where on that moment more into Warzones, and a month later they had enough of it, and want to do some ops! Then the problem arises that they have bad gear for ops! So it is both for PVP and PVE benificial if there is just simply 1 gear in the game for playing content we like. Otherwise you get problems like we had in the past where I remembered making groups for operations, and then some of the more warzone players want to join ops and they find out their gear sucks... So no unfortunately this is not a good idea and is a lot of work to do. But I appreciate your idea! I can clearly see you wish well for helping both PVP/PVE players. If we then perhaps fix your idea by making a boost for PVP gear in operations, then it is actually weird because if you think then logically it all ends up with the same gear stats or 1 single gear both PVP/PVE end up with the same boosts and go to the same level. If you get what I mean. It all ends up to the same conclusion 1 gear for all content is best to do. And regarding bioware admits it is a lot of headache and time consuming to make, it is simply then better for them to cancel their project for making this, because that time can better used somewhere else (like a new warzone map). A last point I want to make, is that you forget that your idea also does not fix then the problem what arises with Open World PVP battles when there are 2 different gears in the game, if we fix that then in open world pvp with an boost that both endgame gears end up with 1 same stats, then we end up with the same conclusion that it is actually the same 1 gear! You know what I mean, I hope? It sucks this whole situation, because finally bioware fixed something with this 2 gear problem we had in the past, only the grinding for this 1 gear was to harsh in the beginning, the gearing in the game right now is now in a good spot, it can use some tweaking though. I think if they want to promote WZ's more, they should add more special rewards (mounts/decos/weapons/clothing) for doing that content and not by making us able to buy only gear.. I never liked this, I love warzones, but it feels always so stupid to grind every season/ major update a new warzone set. And i am not looking forward for grinding every major patch again 2times for the best gear sets in this game (PVE+PVP), + we must not forget we need to augment all too.
  15. Have you been around how it was before? It was a weird system imo, not nice to use at all. It is better to have 1 gear ingame then 2 seperate ones, and even bioware admits (with charles and musco) in the interview with swtor central it is to much of an headache(+time) to make it. If that is so, then it is better to keep it the way it is and focus more on expansions or bug fixes. And if they want to go on with this, then they need to make it more simpler for them to make this, and also avoid people having 2 sets of gear, they can for example add an extra slot to clothing gear for an PVP expertise item modification. Do you not agree?
