  1. I like this idea what I would try is something like a base damage increase on pulse cannon and having that generate stacks of pulse generator. Maybe generate 1 stack with activation and 2 more stacks when damage is dealt, with a maximum of 3 stacks. Where the first 2 stacks would be generated immediatly if in range of anything with a chace of the 3rd stack 1 second in. Meaning the spec can be countered but not be completely shutdown for 15 secs. Then I would put a 4.5 secs cooldown on fire pulse that consumes stacks while turning ion pulse into pure filler. Basically keep the spec as a vanguards go to AOE spec, while making it easier to balance since fire pulse is a tactics only ability, that becomes the most important damage dealing ability. Thus achieving another goal of having the top tier skill be the something that pulls the whole spec together like what we see in all the sentinel trees.
  2. Try taking only one point in Telekinetic Effusion I tried that last night and found crits came often enough that it was up most of the time and was force positive. This is what I'm using for PvE but don't take it too seriously as I have yet to put proper thought and numbers to it. Hybrid PvE
  3. I agree with Gusta and further on that using just last night as a sample Bastion had 60 50s on at 10pm AEDT and Dalborra had about 300-350 50s at the same time. With all the pings equal, I think those who stay will enjoy the pop on the Harbinger more than the Bastion.
  4. Which is why a good idea for a PVP buff is that Frenzy/Valorous Call grants 4 stacks of Annhilator/Merciless.
  5. If you are going to persist with your strategy you have your kill order wrong Firebrand must die first. Stormcaller's soft enrage, ultimate destruction, isn't too horrible to deal with and its hard enrage is the same. If you had killed firebrand first you should have been able to cover the 7% on Stormcaller to bring him down before he wiped you.
  6. Just want to chime in with I've cancelled our progression Ops because too many members are sitting with less than 100k credits and we can't cover their repair costs. Also my desire to help a new player or join a pug flashpoint just dropped to 0. So thanks Bioware just thanks for nothing
  7. See I don't get this at all. Why wouldn't you have your best dps on firebrand burning him down where they can deal with the third add and there are no dps mechanics like DD. Finally at <20% stage you have more people on stormcaller to take DD which is more important for NiM EC than HM. The other thing is to find the best method to deal with Incinerate whether by Stormcaller tank taunting at his guns to sky move, the taunt ***** taunting at the same time or calling a tank a swap. By his guns in the sky I mean he does the red circle barrage followed by 3 rocket attacks on the tank then points his guns to sky and launches something at the healers followed immediately by the incinerate cast.
  8. Don't tell me or other MDN people what we want. Many of us are willing to sacrifice non-existent world pvp for ping. So in a ridiculously roundabout way you've managed to ask for a server merge. Grats.
  9. Can we please stop posting this, any option that involves losing my latency is the wrong option.
  10. The option I want is the what Antiskeptic is proposing I believe he has it right on what most players will do. First a forced merge of all 3 servers into an oceanic super server. Then a month after offer a 2 week window for transfers to US PvP or RP servers for those who are completely unhappy with the new arrangement. This will give the best chance for the communities to stay together and those who hate it completely can just leave. And again I'll reiterate don't offer transfer to random servers as people will take them and it won't solve the population issues for the remaining players in Oceania. Trying to keep these communities together for the most part is best for all.
  11. Just to be clear what Ward is trying to find out is how the quality of this ranked game compares to other servers. The game at 25 mins is now considered by everyone who watched or was involved the best game of Huttball ever on our server. We want to know how bad or good it was compared to other ranked huttball you've been involved in.
  12. ewok will probably join in. Would love some recruit geared wz's have some fun with alts I can't be ****ed gearing.
  13. In terror SM last week we sevened manned the first boss, while carrying a fresh 50 literally dinged his first fifty a few hours before we started, and was in recruit gear. Someone, another relatively fresh 50 logged in and we downed up to kephess with that group before one had to go. Attempted to seven man Terror and got him to 7%. Pugged someone in battlemaster and a couple of pieces of war hero who had never done an operation before, had no vent and downed Terror in one go. Only unfortunate bit was the pug died in the last phase and tried to res like flashpoints allow you to do now so missed out on rolling for loot because he wasn't in the instance for the kill. In conclusion too many bad players this is not hard at all in SM. Gear requirements are almost non existent if you can get at least 2 decent dps.
  14. I think this here shows exactly how high Midian have the bar set at the moment. They are competing as you would expect from elite/professional athletes. Video sessions and most likely training for certain situations such as 3 v 2 survival. If other teams want to compete and even win they have to prepare to same level, merely queuing constantly will never be enough to win. This isn't saying anything against Midian just an observation of the time that rep and the new nightmare council teams need to apply to win.
