  1. Not to call anyone out specifically, because this has been brought up by several posters... 5% survivability (or DPS or healing) increase is not necessarily their to goal, but a bar they dont want to go above, allowing that ~1% to be acceptable. That, anyway, is how I read BWs intention from their first posts. So while I certainly agree the set bonuses are currently-- to borrow a quote-- "a nothing burger." I am concerned that the suggestions given, to certainly improve by 5%, are maybe more radical than will be given a serious consideration. That being said: I hope Im wrong.
  2. Healing with a Merc in Progression has been a pleasure I wish had started much sooner. Both of us look froward to these changes with allot of excitment-- although perhaps a little less salivating. Good run down! (I am already annoyed at the hypethetical Merc/Mando who demands the 16man group sit on their hands while they Shell everyone up.)

I do not main a Merc healer, but I heal with one in the current HM Dread Operations, and the healing in PvE-- when considering the buffs they brings-- is in a good place, ie: I feel no pressure to "pick up slack" but occasionally resource issues when there are a few too many "oh ****" moments. For PvP, before they jump down my throat about good numbers, Id like to point out that very few complain about the raw output of Merc/Mando healing (and most of those do not understand how the spec works), because their problems lies within the class itself: very cast reliant with few and mostly ineffective ways to counter it. One idea that could offer something for both sides: (Apologies if this was mentioned in one of the previous 300+ posts) Emergency Scan has always seemed a bit lackluster and disjointed for a capstone ability, perhaps it should be tied it into the tree a bit more? Maybe have its cooldown reset be one of the perks of Super Charged Gas and/or build charges of Combat Support Cylinder? _____________________
  4. Most of the posts here are pointing out the weird happenings they observed in someone else, but here is an Flashpoint PUGing experience that I think can also be qualified as "weird". Last fight of Athiss HM the group and I each took a turn singing (read: typing) the lines of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" when the fire spheres came out. Great run that ended quit humorously.

Mercs/Commandos have Healing Scan/AMP and Sorc/Sages have Resurgence/Rejuvenate that each, respectively, boost armor ratings by 10%; while Operatives/Scoundrels do not have an ability like this-- even though Kolto Infusion/Kolto Pack function mechanically similar to those abilities. Is this an oversight or intentional?
  6. To the left of the door way there is a corner. I stand there when I tank and ask my tank to stand there when healing. Never been knocked away, and always there to pick up the adds.

  9. As a healer I cringe whenever I load into a FP or WZ and see 38-42k HP on tanks (for me its mostly Jugg). So to those few of you who do it right, I thank you.
