  1. I would like to apply to your Thanksgiving event. If there was one item I wanted, it would be a "White and White Dye Module". The current lowest listed price is 3 mil, as of November 16th. If the item requires mailing, my main character's name is Çasus, and note the special character that you'd need to copy and paste. I wanted to say that I think these sorts of events are awesome for server RP and community building, and I thank you for the opportunity to participate!
  2. I've been on Begeren Colony since Day 1 of pre-launch and I've seen the quality of Role Play degrade so far down the pit that it disgusts me. I strongly suggest that Bioware implement a server transfer system into place that players are able to get their characters off and into a better environment for their style of play. I am certainly not at all going to start a new character on a different server with the amount of time and money I have put into all the characters I have developed on my current server. I have on many occasions sent in multiple reports in regards to trolls and greifing attempts on me and my guild members, but they are never once answered. This has caused myself and my guild to go inactive for a couple months to wait out this sudden increase in immature activity, but unfortunately I have not seen a single improvement from when we stopped playing.
  3. --- WORK IN PROGRESS --- Hey guys, this character idea just hit me today, which I might possibly use for my fanfiction, and if it is possible I would love feedback and constructive criticism on it. I want to make this character powerful in her respective field but I dont want to make her unbelievable in this universe. A common thing I do with balance is make them strong in one area but weak in another, but Im trying to find a way to get around that where I can make her strong overall but still balanced. If theres any way I can do that then please help Species/Race: Human Name: Elise Gender: Female Date of Birth: 1995 ABY Place of Birth: Dromund Kaas Age: 18 Allegiance: Dark Side / Sith Empire Profession: Sith Assassin Place of training: Malachor Station (Remember, this is for a fanfic) She has been training since the age of 4. Height: 5' 6" Facial Appearance: Click on the link here. Hooray for SWTOR character creation, right? Current Residence: Ziost Armor/Clothes: Depends on mission, but normally wears simple unassuming black robes. Primary Weapon: A single violet lightsaber Powers and abilities: As an assassin, she is very strong in use of the Force. She has rarely killed her target by her own hand. She has VERY strong Force Persuasion and Dominate Mind techniques that can accomplish many things like have a target killing them self or someone else killing the target. She rarely gets into one on one combat, so most of her lightsaber forms arent all that well developed. She is most proficient in Ataru however. Normally if she must take a target out herself she employs a telekinetic lightsaber ability or a saber throw when the target is least aware. She focuses mainly on persuasive techniques with subtle nudges of the Force if she is out to convert someone to the Sith or have someone see her side of things as correct. Using this technique Im going to have her convert my main character in my fanfic. I also want her to be able to pose as a Jedi fairly easily. I dont have too many ideas on this, but when I did this Im thinking a lot like how Darth Zannah can just waltz in and go undetected into the Jedi temple. So if theres anything at all I can improve, please respond. As much as I love people praising or condemning my work, these dont help unless theres something to go off of. Thanks in advance
  4. Im a non-alcoholic at heart and my characters reflect this, is there a non-alcoholic beverage list or food menu as well that you could possibly make? This list helps me a ton though
  5. Hello and thank you for deciding to read my post. This is more of a suggestion and recruitment type thread form, but Ill explain what I mean: Im a huge Sith role-player, love the species, history, philosophy, etc. Before this however I was a huge Jedi fan, participated in many RP forums, contributed greatly to these groups that no longer exist. In my time doing RP for the last 3 to 4 years, Ive decided I want to create the largest fanfic I possibly could. The eventual rise and fall of a particular Force-user that would encompass the philosophy that I have developed for myself over these years. One problem that I have however is that I have completely forgotten how to be a Jedi. My RP experience started at my personal conversion to the Sith so now that I have these ideas ground into my head I cannot for the life of me RP a Jedi. This is where I am asking for help, is there an online Jedi Role-playing group dedicated to the teaching and training of young Jedi initiates? I prefer to learn from a temple/academy type atmosphere along with other initiates learning from people that ACTUALLY know the Jedi and their ways and are able to relay these ideals accurately in an RP format. In order for me to start writing I know for a fact that I need to return to the roots of this organization and understand them from the ground up and re-learn as much as I can. This is not a mission of conversion, this is a mission of knowledge, and any help would be appreciated. Thank you again.
  6. Read my comment right above yours, pal. I know this is all fun and games, nothing here is for real
  7. You must not be a very fun roleplayer. In real life I know the Sith are evil, but In character theyre the most fun Ive ever had.
  8. The Force by nature is chaotic. Did it create all that we see? I dont know, but some believe so. Now if thats the case, was not the first form of life that of survival? Of kill or be killed? It is in a time without civility that the true nature of things are shown, and why would the force create an inherently serene world when there is no sense of progression stemming from it? By the way Im not ignoring you when I dont respond in the next few, I have band practice in a few minutes, I would discuss it but I cant for the moment. Id like to continue later if you could.
  9. The sacrifice of inner "peace" is what the real meaning of Self-Sacrifice should mean. Peace accomplishes nothing, and by nature is apathetic and indifferent.
  10. Ill put my analysis below in Red. By the way, I hate anime, so no "kekeke" for me....
  11. I do not believe in good or evil in Star Wars anymore. To me there is stupid, and there is logic. I believe the Jedi to be hypocrites and the Sith to be the only ones true to their belief. Would you as a person join someone who doesnt act in according to their philosophy, or join one of consistency? Let me explain that. Is murder evil? Yes it is. Do ALL Sith murder? No, not ALL Sith murder, but as a Sith myself I find murder stupid and counter-productive. Lets reverse that however, if a criminal was in danger of dying, would you save him? The Jedi would, which I find stupid. You save a criminal when this person is clearly a bane of society? Leave him to his fate. I will take both the Esseles and Black Talon flashpoints into consideration: The Esseles: Your first choice is whether or not to sacrifice the group in the engineering compartment to hurry to the bridge to save the crew, or to slowly go around back, kill the troops and reactivate generators to get to the bridge. I will say that the supposed "light side" option of keeping the engineering crew alive is the wrong choice. Why? Well lets take this into account: time. Do you have time to get to the bridge before the acting captain is murdered by mandalorians? You dont know if he is already dead! A safe outcome to a conflict is one that goes by fast and precise, so as minimal casualties can be accounted for in the aftermath. Does it help to go through the generators, potentially get killed yourself, and perpetuate war with the Empire by attacking their troops? I dont think so. The Jedi are all about sacrifice, right? Then make sure to sacrifice what is needed to save those who need saving. The sacrifice of one is the savior of many, and the saving of one is the death of thousands. Now, for Ambassador Asara. She is a terrorist. As explained by Grand Moff Kilran, she is a seditionist and needs to be arrested. Now, admitted by herself, she claims to go to Imperial planets to "offer an alternative to Imperialism". This, in itself, goes against the Treaty of Coruscant and therefore she must be classified as a terrorist for disrupting the Peace. Jedi seek peace in all its forms, yes? then she should be turned over to the offended party. Say you just won a war with another country and both countries are still around. Someone from the other country goes to YOUR cities and starts rebellions in YOUR cities to try and sway them to their side. This is terrorism and the "light side" choice is to break the law and harbor a terrorist, and disruptor of the peace! How utterly backwards! The Jedi claim to be light side? This made me lose all faith in them. Black Talon: Our first choice here is whether or not to kill the Captain of the ship. Simple right? Wrong. If you let him live then you yourself are therefore a criminal. The law by Grand Moff Kilran was to kill him and commandeer the ship for an attack run on the Brentaal Star. Letting him live may eventually help the effort of the attack later, but he is a deserter from his Imperial Military duty and the law clearly states to relieve him of command. Is this evil? Not if a government institution created a law, one that the majority of the society agrees with. Logically, you would be a good upstanding citizen by listening to your leaders. The second choice involves either killing or letting the General live. Now, the General is not only the same as the Captain in this instance being a deserter, but also a traitor! Imagine your guild and your possible rivals, now also imagine your second best member, an officer leave and join that rival, giving him all your secrets and letting nothing hold back. This is betrayal, and betrayal is a capital offense. Much how bounties are put out for bounty hunters, their work is commonly considered neutral, yet why should the killing of the General be considered bad if this is more or less that same exact thing, only with purpose? Following this means that the Sith responsible is following not only the code laid out for them, but also the law. See how the Jedi are such hypocrites? Its cause they do too much talking and not enough remembering of what they just said. Yoda says that compromise with the Dark side should be avoided, but isnt compromise peace? Isnt Yoda saying that peace with their foe is not desirable? There is no peace in the Jedi. "There is no ignorance, there is knowledge". Wholesale rejection of the Dark side is not knowledge, its fear. I thought the Jedi were supposed to combat fear? Yet they let it consume their actions. Through this the truth of "peace is a lie" comes to your mind and it will never go away.
  12. The actual blade of a lightsaber is completely weightless, as according to lore, so lets get that out of the way first. Id like to say that Im an avid collector of lightsaber hilts in real life and every hilt I own has a distinctive weight to it. Whether this is to offset the weight and length of the saber's dueling blade I am unsure, but every saber is different. Ive created one myself and Ive noticed mine was considerably lighter than the ones I bought, as per my personal preference. Im able to fight faster and better with it because it reflects my preference in combat style. I find that in-universe this works very much the same way, whereas Darth Bane used a heavy lightsaber simply because he was a large man and he needed the extra grip, and as with Assaj Ventress Id imagine her lightsabers are very light because she is, quite frankly, fairly weak, yet very fast. Every lightsaber reflects it's user in more than just style, it shows in its versatility and in the way it was meant to be used.
  13. Wait, are you neglecting sex? If you are then no wonder she's mad.
