    You wouldn't believe it.

Uh...no. You may lose 95% of the time, but not everyone does. Pubs are in general noticeably worse, that is true. But there are some Pubs on that server who are really good.
  2. It was someone from BioWare who used that 40% number to explain why they went F2P. If they had started F2P, more people probably would have bought it. But would BW have made as much money? We'll never know that. All I do know is that I believe this game will be the last large subscription based MMO to release. I think they will all be F2P in the future.

There are some darn good Pubs on Ebon Hawk.
  4. This is why it will never happen- there are only a few hardcore PvPers left. I loved WAR, and I had hoped to see a similar RvR system here, but it ain't happening. Fact is, if you want that, this isn't your game. I can't tell you what game is, but I can tell you it rhymes with "Build Lores Pooh."
  5. BW doesn't want you doing world PvP. They want you following their story. They think you will like that more. That's why they make world PvP difficult and without rewards. Its too bad, really, because it wouldn't have been hard to implement.
  6. The OP was dealing with spmething worse than i have ever experienced. However, I played three matches in a row yesterday in which the same player quit. He quit all three about two minutes in. We won two out of the three. Some people are serial quitters when it's not the others who are the problem. That's not you, OP, just sayin. And I would have stayed, but I Only quit once, and it was because my kid was sick at school. I'm a tolerant man.

    Advice

Staying alive is the hardest part of PvP. Killing people is easy, it's staying alive that's hard, especially for a RDPS who has always had a tank soaking up the damage. You're learning just how fragile you really are. Some tips, in order of importance: 1. Use your range. Stay away, and hit from a place that's hard to get to. The ramps in Huttball are a ranged DPS dream. Expect to be constantly moving, and know the good spots. 2. Learn to kite. It's not hard. First you have to save your CC. Don't use it until someone is after you (Huttball excepted). When someone is coming after you, you should see them coming, because you are far away. Force slow them, and when they get close, Force Sprint to the opposite side of the fight. If they break it, use Whirlwind or Electrocute. Now you have separation again. If they come close again, use another CC. Always use your CC to get away, and you will. 3. Bubble yourself always. 4. Avoid getting hit with AoE. It's not hard, and it eats your health up. Good luck!
  8. It is a bug and I ask you to report it. Here's why: 1. Not everyone is scrupulous like you 2. It gives players who know an unfair advantage. Thanks.
  9. MMO's never have end game content because they are never supposed to end. The developers want you to sub forever. These end game content threads are all fail.
  10. Very insightful. Thanks. It is NOT fine because I actually want to play the game. Yesterday when a Huttball match started, it began with me running in and then getting three successive stuns. That's just not fun. It's got nothing to do with talent or skill, it's about fun, and it's just not fun to play when thats going on because you aren't actually playing. You are doing nothing. Not fun.
  11. I agree. But what percent of players have win percentages that high? Very, very few. For the elite few, ranked war zones are great. For the masses, they sound good in theory, but only result in even more qq.
  12. If it really was similar skill, most people would hate it. People want to win, not be challenged.
