Not really, I leveled a Jedi Guardian beforehand with x12 (Ok, I bought an adaptive armor via cc, but with no mods) I used some credits of my lvl30 to expand my inventory but I did the emperor quest with a mix of lvl 10 and 50 gear I found on the road or were rewarded. Kira fell a bit of lately because she was under equipped and was missing some slots, but other then that it was all fine and never unfair (took me 3 trys to succeed my class story, when you figured out the fight, its easy)

are the other companions weaker in comparison (vette/kira) or do you just like the special ones?

Great trick with the legacy bank! My sith that I dont play anymore had like 170 planet. comms I traded to my JK. Bought some nice new stuff for Kira ! ( she went like from 70 item rating to full 140)

Thanks, too bad with the gearing. I won't bother with switching tons of mods in and out with smuggler then on her way thru the class story. Could you give an estimate on how much a Race/Facial/Hair change will cost? 500cc, 1000cc, or even more?

1. I've read that you can buy an cartel item that lets you customize appearances and race. Is this still available and how much does it cost ? 2. The legacy gear for twinks, is it just better then the avg. lvl x item or does it level with the character like the BoA items from WoW? Would be pretty useless when its not leveling up, with 12x class mission boost, no?

Not so easy to acquire, neither galactic market nor the general population could produce just one piece of that set. But as I got over 100 planet commendations again, I went on a shopping spree and all those planetary vendors had some nice looking light armor, pretty much like the basic outfit. I think I saved some serious credits this way (GM is mostly overpriced)

Is there an outfit for Kira that looks similar to her standard garment but is upgradeable (with mods, enhancements, etc)

I'm currently on Hoth with my JK, keeping my equipment more or less up to date with by switching out my armor and weapon mods but my companions are still wearing their starter stuff (except Kira, when the missions yield a new skirt ) Is it okay to wait for 55 before I start using my resources to equip my companions seriously or are there some missions where I'm forced to take Teeseven (faint memory) and he should be geared appropriately ?

I'm 3 or 4 levels ahead with my freshly created Jedi Knight, doing no side quests, only the fp when I get a group. (10 comms per day + spares)

When someone undercuts the price with less then 100 credits, I'll buy the more expensive one. Easy as that. When it's notably cheaper, good for me!

Just curious, how did you map out your abilities. Are all skills on hotkeys or are you using the mouse to activate some. Visible Bars, Hidden Bars, Side Bars ? Some screen shots would be appreciated as incentive to redesign my UI (pretty boring with 2 mainbars next to each other and one side bar )

And please use the existing Authenticator App from Microsoft...
