  1. Seriously, I've gotten more 100% and 110% mount schematics than I know what to do with. They seem ridiculously easy to get on my server, and sell for scratch on the GTN. It's pathetic. Missions seem to have gotten rarer however, UT in particular. I get tons, just tons of Investigation though.
  2. I'm familiar with many of the complained about bugs and exploits; this one is not familiar to me. Are you saying people you've killed can still land next to a location, I assume you mean after a cap? You failed to say that, so I'm assuming. Understand this, though: the speeder on the capital ship remains available until the cap is complete; i.e. I can still take the speeder back until it's finished turning from my control to yours. This is not an exploit.
  3. No additional commentary, huh? CB is just widely disregarded?
  4. Seriously, I got killed recapturing our Turrets my first trip there, and when I sought out the offending party and killed him and an ally saw, I got yelled it in General for it. Screw that. You can flip all you want, but I'm contributing to the war effort. ESPECIALLY if I'm attacked when I play 'by the rules'.
  5. Wow, you showed me with your super-sarcastic closer; I sure have been humbled by your witty repartee and infinite knowledge wrapped in an incredible cloud of wit  Seriously, I asked for a reason; your initial response was perfectly sufficient without lowering yourself to d-bag territory. If you'll notice I did state it was useful in scenarios where certain abilities were on CD or locked down; think you not that I don't full well know what other uses GR has? I'm sorry I failed to completely demonstrate my understanding of the ability to you, but please allow me to clarify so that I might properly convey my query to you: Why is it people aren't using it at all, and stand around like headless, baffled chickens when GR isn't available? Despite what you might believe, I do use CB when necessity calls, and whatever your apparently superior-feeling mind might feel, there have been situations where the extra few hundred points of damage made all the difference. Now maybe your oh-so-skilled talents prefer to benefit your team by GRing everything that moves, but I find this terribly inefficient, and prefer to utilize everything at my disposal as developing situations call for it and the battle unfolds. But you go ahead and keep spamming GR; apparently your the reason the Gunnery tree is mocked. In closing, I do apologize for coming down to your level, but maybe next time leave the sarcasm out when you are clearly capable of imparting great knowledge without it.
  6. Wow; this forum moves freakishly quick - buried already.
  7. Check; probably won't be today as I'm about to head out for work but I've got this thread bookmarked. I appreciate your insight.
  8. Hmmm, well I'll check it out with a certain leery caution, but for the hype, level 10 doesn't take too long and a few matches spread throughout various times of day should tell me what I need to know. If not, I'll keep looking. I still thank you for the information, especially since no additional has been advised. Again, I'm not looking to add to a population imbalance in favor of my side; I don't want to steamroll, as much fun as that would be. I do like a challenge and I want to contribute to my faction. I just don't want to feel helpless because I'm horribly outnumbered.
  9. So I keep seeing all these people yelling about Grav Round/Tracer Missile in PvP, and Troopers/Hunters spamming them. I have one simple question: Why? I'm a Trooper, I'm fairly decently geared though I'm still working my way up, trying to get full Champion. Obviously being Republic, this is taking a bloody long time, but that's a rant for another thread. The point in contention here is this: My Grav Round currently sits at 1160-1210 Kinetic Damage. I know many people advise to take it off of the rotation/hotbar once you get Grav Round, but here's the thing...my Charged Bolts currently sits at 1195-1460 Weapon Damage. So once you have acquired 5 stacks of sunder...sorry, whatever the armor debuff is called, are people really still spamming it, forgetting they have another higher hitting ability? Or are people being struck by GR/TM just not noticing that there is another cast-bar ability being used? Or am I just unaware that the difference in receiving Weapon Damage vs Kinetic Damage is that great. Again, I know that for PvE, most people say that for this spec, forget you have Charged Bolts/Whatever BH equivalent is called. I don't...even for PvE it has certain uses, but in PvP I think it's excellent. It hits harder and when I get locked out of GR for a rotation it's still usable. Am I in the minority, or am I, as they say, doing it wrong and failing to see something. I certainly do not spam GR, but...ya know...I can, if it's the proper way.
  10. Wish I didn't have to, but this 50 can sit on it until they get off their rears and announce what they intend to do with transfers. People have been asking for weeks now with no response. I know I don't have to PvP, but it's a part of the game I would like to enjoy. As it stands, I do not. Thank you for the suggestion; I will give it a look
  11. Doesn't necessarily mean anything. This is a heavy server in Prime Time - there was no way to know the faction imbalance would be this crucial on the 13th when I got in. I'm not going to go to every Heavy- Full server and roll a new toon to 10 just so I can play a bit of PvP to see what the scenario looks like. It seemed quicker to come here.
  12. Oh I know there are, that's part of the bloody problem. I keep running into Malevolent, and that's just...not going to end well for us. Oh, and I'm 50. I'm not lower level. If I were, I wouldn't feel compelled to seek other shelter. On second examination, I see you are with Malevolent. Your guild is a freaking headache, but impressive.
  13. Seriously. I'm on Tarro Blood Republic, and I have to spend hours, literally without exaggeration hours to complete my daily of winning 3 matches. Sometimes I just give up and finish it the following day. I'm not harping on Republic, I love my class and the story offered so far, but so far the Empire just steamrolls us. Absolutely dominates us, and when I can get matched up with the same horrible players who don't stun, CC, or control or run the team in any capacity at all time and time again...yet face different Imperial teams every match there is clearly something wrong. To compound it, the most recent nerf to rewards for even losing has made participating in a clearly lopsided and going downhill match a struggle in tenacity and willpower. The other day as I sat stuck underneath a bridge waiting on a GM that did not arrive for 11 hours, the only thing I could do was PvP. 11 hours later I had gained 1 level, 9 Valor Ranks and exactly 1k Commendations. In all seriousness, can any Imperial player who wins most of their matches advise how long it takes to score 1k Commendations? From my few wins, I can see that as long as I do participate and gain at least 5 Medals, I can finish with about 80+ , though I've seen as many as 90. My guess is Imperials are rolling in commendations. Losing, now I get between 25-40. I'm sorry, but I can't tolerate it on this server much longer. I'm willing to start over completely if it means I get to stand a fair chance in a PvP match and know I can win at least half of the time. So...which servers aren't filled with clueless Republic in PvP?
  14. Silly me, thinking that CS might have sent someone to check on this when they told me to keep the discussion here. So I'm keeping it relevant until somebody responds with something.
  15. Ha. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=1288516#post1288516 I love your CS response. I posted on the CS forums since that's the only place I ever see a response, and I got a response alright; a link back to my own bloody thread (as if I hadn't bookmarked it hoping to see a bloody response by now) and the friendly reminder of the proper usage of the CS forums. I guess the only remarks they deign to answer are those that can be found by merely following the Dev Tracker, because it's been answered already, countless times. I said it elsewhere, I'll say it here. Your FB page proudly links a review of the game which has as one of it's cons your lackluster Customer Support. You merely proved it right; thanks a bunch. I'll end with a smily face, so you see how happy I am.
