I was wondering why it wasn't on the shotgun blast, actually. It seems like a much more obvious choice. I guess it's trickier to aim though being a short-ranged cone.

So I was just checking out my passives on my mid-thirties scoundrel to see what I could do to change my playstyle, and I noticed that the very first one in my skilltree is Black Market Mods. Which spreads to DoT from Vital Shot to an entire group. Having played a gunslinger before, I'm familair with this combo. Except that where gunslinger uses Sharp Grenade. Ruffian uses Bushwhack. Problem: I've never heard of bushwhack. “What's bushwhack?” I ask myself. It's not on my hotbar, it's not in my ability list. I check online, and apparently it's a level thirty eight ability. So I gained a passive ability at level twelve that is absolutely completely worthless for more than twenty levels? and when I say completely worthless, I mean that quite literally. It doesn't boost some other stat or ability and do the bushwhack thing on the side. It's sole use is to boost an ability that I won't learn until level thirty eight. This sounds like an oversight. Either Bushwhack should be learned at level 10, or Black Market Mods should be swapped with something further down the line. Mortal Wound for example, boosts Vital Shot and Shrap Bomb, and is learned at level 36. Slightly before you gain Bushwhack. Does any other class learn a passive long before they learn the skill that it effects?

yeah, so you added orange quality sheilds/foci/scatterguns/knives/ect a while back, but they are seriously hard to get ahold of. black talon has a chance to drop one, but it might not happen, and getting the one you want to drop is a chore, (without even considering the roll to actually claim it) There's the Black talon vendor on DK who sells all the weapons and armour that drops there, but none of the off-hands except the vibroknife (14 commendations, if you were wondering) the Republic mirror is the same, with the Scattergun in place of the knife. why not allow you to buy ALL of the black talon drops? why should Jedi/troopers get shafted where smugglers/agents can just BUY what they need if it doesn't drop? that aside, there's a heroic on DK that gives a shield/focus of your choice, upon completion (saving face +2) which is great, but the Republic side doesn't have a mirror for that. either evening it out with a similar reward for the republic, or just making all of the talon/essales drops buy-able from the vendor would do wonders to making gearing your companions in orange more reasonable. edit: or just throw in some craftable level 20 custom offhands, (like the guns, or the sabers, or the vibroblades, ect) that would work fine too.

do they even have custom crystals? (normally I wouldn't care, but even green guns are supposed to have removeable crystals, and scatterguns don't, and i have a big fat +41 white critical that I got from the Cartel market pack, that i really want to use)

I have seen custom (orange) versions of every other offhand in the game (offhand pistols, generator, focus, vibroblade) They might not be craftable, but they exist. on the other hand, i can't either GTN or Google up the name of a single custom shotgun. is this just me, or is this a thing? also, even without being custom, what's with the "no colour crystal" thing? even green quality shield generators and vibroblades have one, don't they? if every republic class is a carbon copy of their Imperial counterpart, then isn't Smuggler noticeably weaker than operative, what with the more limited offhand?

so... prefered players can only hold 350k credits, what happens when my sub runs out then? the rest of it gets stolen from me? i know there has to be restrictions, but seriously, 2 character slots? thats on preferred player too hell, preferred players should get ALL the unlocks, (but you only get preferred player if you were subbed for more than 2 months or something) but making us PAY for our freaking hotbars back? and dont even get me started on the cargo hold or the crew skills not cool bioware seriously, im not even a free player, i was planning to resub when i ran out, but i just changed my mind i seriously dont want to give you my money, just on general principle.

i saw http://www.torhead.com/item/1zA89gp/custom-built-double-bladed-saber this link on torhead, it seems to suggest that you can RE custom built weapons and learn schematics from them, is this true? if so, how?

YES! WHAT THIS GUY SAID! nothing pisses me off more then when the tank runs ahead and skips mobs, because you just know that the one to aggro the three elites standing over there is either going to be the squishy DPS or the even squishier Healer. stop being lazy, kill them for the exp and the loot! and for the love of god stop and let people heal themselves after you clear each room! its takes 30 seconds, tops.
