  1. It really makes no difference....to the players. It only is a concern for those selling the game. I do know of at least two more subs they won't be getting mid-Feburary. And no, not goint "f2p" either.
  2. I am done in Feburary anyway so I really could care less about a paid (or free for that matter) expansion. My opinion, for what it is worth, is that this expac is a bit limited and not worth the amount being charged. I already feel I am not getting much value out my subscription content wise and won't play so-called f2p.
  3. I am just so unimpressed with the "new" space missions. Basically they are just retreaded old missions but made harder. How can you vary a "tube" shooterl. You follow the roll-coaster ride and shoot things along the way. Not very origianl nor exciting. So, basically we get 6 new so-called space missions that are not that good....no matter what grade upgrades you use.
  4. It is the way so-call "free" to play works when a sub is also included. A percentage of what you pay goes to EA/Bioware. Out of that percentage, EA/Bioware decides what to do with it AFTER they pay the bills..wages, heat/air/lights, server upkeep. Part of it goes to pay for those freeloaders not paying a red cent (some just think you should play for "free" in a "free" to play game..imagine). If there is anything left over, they may give you something more then just "access to the servers" for that sub payment. If not well..... In Feburary my sub runs out. I won't be renewing and I won't be playing for "free". It is not worth it.
  5. I don't play just one class nor just one faction. Out of the 8 character I have, I have enjoyed the story for all of them (so far as not all are past the final class quest). I never like to have a "main" although I have put more time into my Jedi Sentinel then any other past level 50. Anyone who says "just play Sith" or "play Republic" does not know how to enjoy the game.
  6. It happened to those that were (and are) still subbed, didn't leave and re-sub, as well. They merged servers and made the names a "first come first serve" affair. So no, you are not alone. But, it is not that bad, you can think of something equally as creative I am sure....I did.
  7. That is probably true however, it is a good reason to go ahead and start a second or a third (though not needed). Rest one one day and play one the next. Works pretty well and you get other benefits for doing that as well....a chance to see how other characters work.
  8. I have justed leveled 50 BH that skipped all of the space combat, FP's and WZ's. I have ALWAYS been ahead in level except at level 1. I ALWAYS take on elites...in fact...I go out of my way to do so. But I also do every quest I can find with the exception fo Heroics. Still manage to out level. Have done this same thing on 6 other characters as well although I did mix in a very little space combat and a couple of heroics with friends on 3 of those. One thing I try to do is always have bonus XP whenever questing. If I run out, I park that character and play another till I have maxed it out and resume playing the previous one.
  9. There is nothing "heroic" about any of the current space missions. Same will be said about the new ones. At the best, so-called space combat in this game is nothing more then a pretty arcade shooter. Might as well be "Space Aliens" or some other type of arcade game. Probably about the only thing about this game that really disappoints me is the current (and future) space game.
  10. None of the people in my Guild have this problem except for one guy that has to play sometimes on an old laptop. When he is on his newer computer, he is just fine. Whenever I am on Fleet with 230 plus players, I see 80+ fps on HIGH graphics settings myself. Your problem my not be that of Bioware but something on your end.
  11. This is obviously a "troll" post. However, I will answer in a very simple and precise way. NO. Forcing PvP in a game such as this one is just idiotic and serves no purpose but to stroke the epeen of immature players that only wish to prey on other players. I don't play this game to PvP. PvP in this sort of LEVEL BASED game is not ever going to be balanced. It surely is not balanced for the lower level player that is "ganked" by those of any higher level. It is a terrible idea and if ever implemented many people would just walk away.
  12. As a matter of personal choice I automatically refuse ANY unrequested invite from some I do not know. If people don't have the manners to send me a tell first, then I will not accept the invite.
  13. Should be pointed out that you will never be able to go above that 350k ceiling under "f2p" once you burn up your escrow funds.
  14. Well I guess I should lay out what happened to me. As I approached the site of the item, I noticed an "red" there already. I immediately turned around deciding to give said person a wide berth. As I came around, heading back to the entrance on my factions side of Outlaw's Den I noticed a second "red". I steered away from him but he was within range of me when I saw him. He engaged me. The first "red" then joined in and both ganked me. I noticed that they then proceeded to "camp" the area. So, not wishing to engage in PvP, I left. Now, if the only way you can get to the item is to POTENTIALLY be forced into a PvP sitiuation, then that is FORCE PvP. I have never engaged in PvP unless I wish to PvP and then ONLY with others that also wish to PvP. I find it annoying that this quest line steers you into a area where you do not have a CHOICE.
