Gonna have to agree with this one. I almost lost an armor upgrade because my dumb droid came back just as I was clicking it. Glad it still asks if I'm SURE I want to destroy an item.

Frankly I grow tired of MMO's really easy, which is one reason I was hesitant about this one. Then my room mate pre-ordered it for my birthday (I took back half the bad things I'd ever said about him that day). I'm not growing tired of this. Neither is my wife, for that matter. We've been playing side by side, and are already talking about which classes we're rolling and playing together next becuase we loved doing it THIS time. And we want to see other stories. Hard Core MMO maybe it isn't, but it's still got my attention and I've been playing since early access too.

Okay, seriously, I love this idea. I'd so buy one for every alt I have. My wife would too! Heck, I'd make an alt just to have a character model for a table top RPG (Yes, I'm a geek, deal).

When can we expect any Legacy features to go active?

Completely agreed. I hate it that Mako looks like she's practicing dance numbers when I jump up and down. While we're at it, could they maybe stop getting in the way of looting? Yeah, that one's got all sorts of problems. Still, can our companions at least pretend they see the rest of the universe when we aren't shooting it?

My wife and I have done this with a Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent, actually. Up to Level 33. With only an occasional (Fairly short) Hiccup we've been able to run around together constantly without problem. However, we did start on the same origin world. Trooper and Jedi would have to start on different planets and meet up on Corascaunt (Sp). Same with Sith and BH/IA. That being said, it's actually been really fun running around with a partner and our companions, and we've noticed NO slow down in leveling that mattered to us.

Actually, I'd like to build on this. Is there a reason that we can't send our active companion to put things in our vault, like they take grays to sell? Something like a trade interface, drop items (I'd completely buy it could only be a few items like a trade.) This would really help on the material gathering side of things.

Actually... why can't we have customization options for him. Perhaps options that make him an astromech droid that just beeps and we can safely assume he said something funny and went off to mission. Though frankly, I think visual mods would be good (If they exist, I haven't stumbled over them yet.) But I'm also serious about the astromech option. Not a T5 clone, but something less.... well since I"m playing a BH, panicked.
