  2. Do not worrie, we will all become old for the time beeing to self craft a full set. I see this content as a great life long goal. It's a very creative, interesting and inovative crafting system, it's worth that few years 24/7 gaming to craft that full end game set. Specially that it also has incredible benefits vs the one that you can farm out by a few hammerstation run. I suggest everyone to keep up and do not afraid to sacrefice your real life to achieve this great goal - it's really worth it. I can just bless the one who intruduced this system.
  3. At 2. day after 6.0 the half of the playerbase had full 306 gear set by running hammer station a few times, on the other side we have the existing crafting system - now prove that the one was not full drunk when he intruduced this new system
  4. I see Your point of view. I will make a test how blue crafted gear is goes true ZW bloster. If it can reach full 306 stats (marginal different) in that case your scenario can be absolutely playable. Since lets face it, in pve you do not have to have top tier gear, ZW where it's batter the most even if we have bloster. I will report back after I made a full blue set and tested it in WZ.
  5. No, I mean you would be able to build up two lines of schematics in your recipe book: - bound to legacy - free to transfer / sell - bound to legacy: would not need any matrix at all. Not a single one (or ok, maybe 1 for yellow 306, but even that is overkill for a casual crafter who want to dress up a few alts) - free to transfer / sell: would need the existing recipe due to matrix shards Why? Because it's clear like sky, that BW has a business-driven idea in their mind and to let crafting be profitable would step on it AKA they will never allow it from this point. My idea would not disturb their business-driven concept, since we already can farm out tons of 306 by running pve content that is bound to legacy.
  6. Well, I guess I realized why you (devs) made this terrible nightmare due to crafting But how you did not figured out the following solution: - craft without matrix : bound to legacy - craft with matrix: bound on pickup to legacy Welcome.
  7. Clear. And sure, due to a giant mmo like swtor bugged lines can escalate fast. But it seems they found a solution to filter them out by the help of the community. They introduced Resource Matrix that is works as a bug magnifier! Since we need 8 Resource Matrix / craft, I see bugs every wear. But out of joking and cynical mood, honestly speaking, the game went into a very bad direction. They forgot to think from the perspective of their customers. All I see that they are aiming with every changes, ideas for the weekly meetings/presentations to get the green light (and money) over and over again by EA "with this we will be able to force them to spend their money by buying cartel packs" It's all good it's a company, not a hobby, but they went too far. This mmo (from the perspective of investment) died at the 2. week after its release. They made a bad decision to generate a WoW clone with SW franchise. I remember how they had to close hundreds of servers basically few days after the release. Let’s call it on its name: it was a disaster from business perspective. And for 10 years no one had balls from the management to admit, that making a WoW clone was a fail and all they do is hitting a dead horse and they had to rebuild the whole game. They rather started to run after their money. Introducing a very aggressive in-game shop. (making kids gambling addicts is easier than rebuild an mmo I had to admit) If you read till this point my long text, probably you are asking yourself, that "than why did you subscribed?" Well, if I want to play skill based pvp there are a lot of great games for that, if I want to play tactical games, I can also find a bunch of top ones, same with sandbox, conquest games and so on... When I subscribe to SWTOR I want to relax with it. I want to ride on different planets, gathering some resources, crafting some gears from it, running a story line if it seems interesting and not just a time trap (there are some) You know, floating in the atmosphere of SW after a long working day without moving my mind - since here in SWTOR (WoW clone) you do not have to use your mind, you can turn it off. So, I bought 3 month (will use just a few days actually till my holyday, than maybe some WZ after work, but well, let it be 3 month...) And what I see?! With the new crafting system, they disabled the one and only fun, relaxing part of the game from my perspective. I was wondering: what they want from me? Standing front of GTN and buying cartel packs? That’s what they left. Since I hope no one believes that I'm having fun by running hammer station for the 1200th time, or that I see any meaning in guild conquest in SWTOR, or we would have any meaningful pvp in this game. For that there are other games. Why they messed it up this greatly? But well, I of course know the answer, : the concept seemed great on the meeting / presentation where they begged for more money, for the green light, kneeing front of EA
  8. But for a year? In that case I do not even want to imagine what giant list of bugs they have
  9. Yes, " referencing the same variables" that’s what we do as well in most Houdini Vex expressions to reach a so-called procedural game asset / or any kind of procedural 3D model. You know the sad part of this story, that we have 2 options here: the game is left behind (I doubt that they do not have any programmers on the deck and this mmo is running in auto pilot, since they releasing new maps, story lines, so there is definitely a team in the background. 2 option: they left it like this with a porpoise, by generating a gold sink trap. - I never would cheat our customers like this. Honestly, never. I have no idea how a big gaming company can allow something like this for them self.
  10. Well, I guess it's not a secret, that the main goal here: is to make cartel coin buy-up the one and only real beneficial in-game eco act. And it's logical, and I have no issues with it. They are a company, they work, they develop this game to generate income for living, not for punishing or making crafters happy The thing is: - most of the dedicated players gathered up way too much in-game credits AKA it's very hard to force them to buy cartel packs for selling the items - for in-game credits. So, they introduced the new crafting system. It has one porpoise: burning down as much in-game credit, gathered up materials as possible. Play FP / op if you like pve Play warzone if you like this kind of arenas Leave crafting / or jump to this train, but be prepared, that you will pay with your whole bank
  11. update: the lag is gone since a few days. positive
  12. Thanks so much for your answer! Lot of infos here. Oh my god... so the game is dead, just they are gathering up some subscription money untill ppl are willing to pay it Thanks again for your informative answer, that pointed out a sad fact: Some gaming contents as crafting for example are close to a scam, rather than an in-game content. (side note: I'm not a programmer, I'm a visual artist, but I'm working with Unreal Engine, I also working with VEX expressions due to procedural game assets in Houdini and I would not be able to find a way to make a "bug" like the mentioned above crit chance mess - it's close to impossible if not the cat in the office the one who is writing the scripts/codes to mess up a simple parametrical expression line as crit chance till crafting attempt - and if it's not a bug, in that case it's a scam, since I can clearly read: 75% crit chance till crafting missions. And the cherry on top: we just get amps as: + xy crit chance till crafting, that everyone is calling "bugged / broken" - same story here: it cannot be bugged, it's impossible to mess up such a simple code line)
  13. my lvl 50 companion has 75% crit chance VS my lvl 1 companion has 1% crit chance I made some experiments and my lvl 1 had a bit more frequent crit rolls till crafting as my lvl 50 companion. Till 10 crafts my 50 made 1 crit my lvl 1 made 2 Do anyone knows what 75% crit chance means? Do we have (lets say) 3% crit chance and 75% means 75% + as 3% turns to 5.25%?
  14. some update: I was able to RE 286 purple mods Now I need 8 matrix to craft them, So if I get it right it will cost me 8 matrix to RE to the next tier IF I RE the mext tier for the first roll right? How many matrix I need till 306? IF I RE everything for the first roll? (side note: lol) To quote something from my first post: I was able to gather up a full 302 set by doing FP 4 hours / day and it took me 2 days as 8 hours gameplay - hard to compair it with crafting. What is happening around crafting? It's a prank?
