yes fully customisable and when you get a better crystal as you level/craft/find one, you can swap it out for better stats

The crystals in the weapons from cartel market are just for display purposes when you preview them...in the axe it doesnt do anything..its just a stat bonus. So the crystal in the axe no stats, but dual weild axes on ashara or one on khem is nice

I'm nearly 50 on my sin that I've pretty much leveled solely in PvP, I'm running through my class quests now and Im soon to get Xalek. How does he fair endgame for dailies? Is he viable for tanking? Dps? Like all dailys, he needs to pull his weight to reduce cooldowns..is he worth it? The reason I ask is because any old mods/gear/armour that I no longer use I could throw on him. Thanks for any replies

No. The majority of complaints come from assassins highlighting the lack of survivability for lack-luster dps tradeoff, pigoned holed specs (if patch goes through) w/o any bright future for build developments. You do not play the class I assume (as you talk about your guildie) hence please dont chip in uninformative information that has no relevance to the class or the next patch. If your tank is losing aggro, let them petition for a better taunt system.
