  1. This sad excuse for a game isn't ever going to be able to run "hi-res." Their decision to purchase a crappy single-threaded engine like "Hero" won't allow it. LOL Just another fail for swtor.
  2. Take it for whatever it's worth to you, I really don't care either way. I have no other agenda than to speak the truth about what's going on. I think paying customers need to know this and should be told the truth about it. In regard to why I didn't write this in General chat? Well, I'm sure we're all aware of the forum team that Bioware has hired to immediate close, remove posts like this within mere minutes of their arrival to the forums. However, the PvP forums aren't moderated as quickly.
  3. Read through this carefully, I think you'll find it quite interesting. Above all, it's all facts. They sold 1.75 million copies in December. 1.7 million activated their accounts in December. The financial statement cut-off date was 12/31/2011. The first subscription could not end before 01/20/2012. What you're seeing is what appears to be a deliberate mis-representation by BioWare/EA. What they're supposed to do is use, as we call it in he Certified Public Accounting profession, a SUBSEQUENT EVENTS DISCLOSURE under FASB 165: FASB Statement no. 165, Subsequent Events disclosures are required for interim and annual periods ending after June 15, 2009. The standard requires the disclosure of the date through which an entity has evaluated subsequent events and whether that represents the date the financial statements were issued or were available to be issued. You see, some of us do this for a living. And, unlike you, we know the rules and what we're talking about. The 1.7 million subs is nothing more than an accouting and reporting artifact. One that was not properly footnoted or disclosed for the obvious subsequent events of the failure to renew events of late January which should be in the 'subsequent event' period. But it gets better.... Something else, rather sleazy, that I noticed BioWare doing... As of February 3rd, 2012, they lowered the population necessary to get out of 'light' server load population and into moderate. They also lowered the cap when it came to heavy. In one day the 'heavy' load went from 3% of server time to 30% of server time. One day. The FULL cap was not changed and it still averages less than 1% of server time and it only happens on Saturday's now. So when YOU log in and see 'moderate' or 'heavy' populations in your server list.... You're being lied to... The redefinded them down, and by quite a bit...
  4. Yes Tera, we played beta all weekend without a single hitch, bug, glitch etc. The graphics are stunning, the game mechanics are amazing and it's open world. Deathmatches that you can place bets on, arenas, battlegrounds, guild housing, guild wars etc. What's this game got over that? I should be the one LOLing at you all.
  5. Like yourself, I had high hopes for this game. Hell I built a 4.000 rig JUST FOR SWTOR. Sadly, myself along with my guild members are leaving as well. Did you beta test Tera this past weekend? We couldn't get enough of it and will definitely be playing it as well. Stay in touch or PM me so we can hook up possibly.
  6. Just to make it clear and very simple to everyone. A strong tell tell sign that a game is failing is when you start seeing threads pop-up like: 1. "OMG Servers are getting more populated!" (wishful thinking) 2. "After 1.2 comes out there will be more subs!" (openly admitting the game is fail) 3. "Why are mods constantly closing my threads?" (you're hurting their perception) 4. "Why I cancelled my sub." (same reason everyone else did, pure boredom) 5. "People at 50 are quitting in drones." (True Statement) 6. "I'm sticking around until GW2, then I'm out!" (you and at least 500,000 others) 7. "PvP is discouraging." (truth) 8. "Has Bioware already lost their PvP base?" (they've been gone, where have you been?) 9. "Becoming bored already.. level 47." (just wait until you hit 50!) 10. "Everyone keeps forgetting this is a new game." (we're aware of that, but thanks) 11. "Is customer support really this bad?" (worse) Those are just a few tell-tell signs of a failing game. If you'd like to add more "failing game threads" feel free. Thanks for reading.
  7. What's fun about PvP when you're rolling with a fail team? It's my choice what I do with "MY" account. You can't force someone to sit there and finish a game knowing you're just going to fail. I'm not trolling, just telling you how it is son.
  8. Who cares, we'll just stand there until it kicks us then.

    Closing threads

They're starting to close any thread that isn't "praising" SWTOR. Have been now for about 3 weeks. I guess it's due to them losing so many subs or w/e, but that's just how it is. The game is dying, and by closing threads is only going to lead to it's dismay a little earlier.
  10. You're an imbecile and obviously never even took the time to read what I posted. That said, I have FULL Champion gear and two pieces of Battlemaster already. I wasn't "whining" when I made my post. I thought it was constructive and I'm just trying to figure out a way to fix things because obviously, they aren't working all too well. It's people like you that come on here flexing your e-peen, trying to be Mr. E-toughguy that make these forums almost impossible for anyone to make a constructive post. Then of course you have your WoWcheerleaders who's always going to support WoWtrash such as yourself
  11. You've got to be kidding me. This is even more sickening than I originally imagined and even further proves my point about people getting their way, because the devs don't even take the time to investigate things before taking action. Amazing, but also not surprising.
  12. What would happen if they completely removed Expertise from the game? I've come up with a few things, and I'd like to see others thoughts as well. 1. It would balance everything out completely. (as far as stats) 2. You could get rid of the "50's" bracket altogether. (bringing friends back together) 3. It would not force people to look like everyone else. (people want individuality) Here are some implimentations that would also help in conjunction. 1. Impliment more armorings, barrels, hilts, mods, enhancements etc. 2. Create a "variety" of each of those, so that people can individualize themselves. 3. Impliment more crafting items, especially end game. 4. Stop nerfing everything and start buffing other things. (For instance, give each crafting skill it's own special ability. ie; Resistances or something of the like). This way, biochem isn't the only viable, "worthful" crafting skill in the game. 5. Re-do Illum, create objectives (real objectives). Give those objectives instant rewards after doing so. (Kinda like Warhammer did but make it much harder) 6. Impliment a "queue" in Illum with a maximum number of each side that can enter at one time. (this would get rid of your balancing issue). These are just a few things that I think would greatly help this game. If you have more "positive" things to add please do so!
  13. How do you get your dailies/weekly's done if they are camping your base constantly? I almost rolled on The Fatman.
