  1. Hey Bioware, would be nice if you could finally fix this. Nadia has been back for a long time now and you still haven't fixed her combat dialog. She is completely silent in combat except when low on health. If you can bring back Kira and have her saying her old lines properly I'm sure you can do this. Get the existing companions, particularly the classic and popular ones working properly before adding more please.
  2. I for one can sympathize. One misclick and that's like a week or so of tech fragments flushed. And for what? Because of those stupid amplifiers which are just more time and credit sinks into the RNG gearing system. You can really tell the higher ups at EA had their hands all over these last few updates.
  3. Anyone tried the Shiny New Toy H2 recently? The walker seems impossible to beat solo. I've watched videos from last year of people doing it, almost casually walking out of the red circle when it shows up and not having to deal with anything else. I was trying to do it for the first time today, I get out of the AoE immediately, sometimes force speed out of it and still take huge damage anyways. And when the AoE isn't almost killing you, the walker has another attack that makes sure you won't survive the next AoE. Plus it cheats and uses both attacks right through buildings where it should have lost line of sight.
  4. It's not like you had to spend several hours going through boring missions with tedious steps to recruit her. You didn't have spend a whopping amount of credits or cartel coins. If it had been like that and and then later they made her free for everyone, I would be pissed too. But you got her just by being subscribed at a certain time, so it doesn't seem like it should be a big deal. I think putting her on the Cartel market would be a much better way for Bioware to handle it though.
  5. I started over in story mode and of course it was a walk in the park. The mobs hit weak and die fast. On top of that they give you the combat support droid as a second companion AND usable healing stations! No challenge, little rewards. As a mostly solo player I find this a contrived and unnecessary way of forcing you to group up.
  6. I just hit 75 recently and was trying to solo a veteran flashpoint and was doing OK until the 3rd boss and gave up after dying a few times. Maybe I'll try again after improving my gear. My issue is that there are healing stations at the boss encounters but it won't let me use them because I'm not in a group. How does that make any sense? If anything it should be opposite; obvsiouly if it's just you and your companion you need them a lot more. I can't see how a full group would even need those things.
  7. I've returned to the game recently and just got Dorne on my Counselor and this bug is still happening. Quite disappointing to get a companion I was looking forward to and this happens. I checked Dorne's dialog on my trooper to see if there was anything specific that wouldn't work for some classes and it's all generic enough to work for anyone: That's easier said than done. Yes sir, I'll do everything I can. Yes sir, did you need something. I'll follow your lead whenever your ready. I'm on it, sir. I'm with you, sir. Yes, sir. Sir. Agreed. I'd rather not talk right now, sir. Acknowledged. Certainly. Let's move on shall we. First hand experience is always the best. Sir, if you need something, just say so. Otherwise, we should get moving.
  8. Only healers I would say. My DPS Sage one on one definitely does not feel OP at all. We melt fast. I died from a 22K hit the other day in a warzone. And I'm still feeling the undocumented Force Speed nerf.
  9. My experience with my DPS Sage at 65. Last week with Nadia at rank 20 and tank stance, did a Voss Heroic (don't remember name) where you go to a base, kill everyone, destroy some equipment and destroy some med tanks (gold mob pops out when you do). Back then, no matter how many mobs I pulled, Nadia was practically invincible, no meaningful amounts of health lost, no stopping for her to heal between fights necessary. Yesterday, with the change and Nadia now at rank 30, same Heroic. The toughest groups of mobs would bring her down to about 60% health before they all died. After every two or three groups I'd stop to get her healed up. So a fairly big change for tanking, but reasonable and I'm not complaining. I don't know about comp healer roles, I barely tried them before and haven't tried at all since.
  10. What the hell are you on about? I've got 30+ combat abilities on keybind. What's a good number for you? 50? I wish they would 'dumb' this game down.
  11. So forget companion heals if that's the main thing that was nerfed and go with tank. I was going with tank comps before and I found them invincible for anything solo. [Disclaimer: I haven't tried out the changes yet.]
  12. I'm doing all that stuff (skip Force Serenity if I don't need any healing). I guess not for 4 minutes; I'm not timing things, but 2-3 minutes is what I consider very long for continuous attacking. How often do you attack non-stop for 4+ minutes? I guess during an operation when there's a boss with a gazillion hit points. Apparently nothing I do in this game regularly causes me problems. In the rare cases I run low on force, I skip Disturbance on the PoM proc and that's usually enough to keep it going some more. Anyways, not sure what the problem is. Why bother having a force pool if it's never supposed to run low? Resource management is easier on my Sage than any other class I've played.
  13. No surprise this wasn't fixed with the first major KotFE patch. They really did have more important and easier issues to fix. But now that it's out of the way, I fully expect some movement on this for the next big patch. I already unsubbed and stated my broken romance with Nadia being the reason. I won't continue through chapter 9 (where you confirm romance with Lana) without knowing what's going on with this bug.
  14. Even after long fights I don't have force management issues on my Balance Sage. It's only when I spam something outside of my core attacks (Benelovence, for example) does my force pool get low.
  15. Bioware talked about making it so that AoEs wouldn't stop caps but it wasn't implemented.
