  1. This argument might hold weight if the one shots didn't serve a very specific purpose. They are there to ensure you must do mechanics or fail the encounter. If you take away the one shot mechanics on low level content then you might as well remove all mechanics and allow people to beat on a parse dummy for loot.
  2. The Phobis Device has no significance here. They were force users before coming in contact with the device and they were brought back as force ghosts in a dark side ritual. That's all the info you need. Nobody has suggested they were as powerful as before. You keep making this argument but it doesn't change the fact that the changes to Kephess were more significant than the changes to the Dread Masters when it comes to the powers exhibited.
  3. Maybe you need to go back and replay that entire series. After the death of Styrak the other 5 Dread Masters appeared and siphoned off what power they could from his corpse. The same happened after Brontes died with the other 4. During the point in the Council fight where you encounter Styrak and Brontes, the other 4 are at their thrones performing a ritual to summon their force ghosts using the power they siphoned. As I said previously, the force ghost retains the essence of what that person was. The changes to Kephiss were much different.
  4. Seriously, do you know nothing about Star Wars lore? Force ghost info Basically, the changes in Kephess mechanics was due to changes made to his body while the inclusion of previous mechanics for the Force ghosts were because they tried to retain their powers even after death. The story even supports the dev decisions in both of these scenarios.
  5. I'm still stuck trying to figure out how the OP doesn't realize there's a difference between Warlord Kephess and Kephess the Undying... One is a standard Trandoshan and the other is a revitalized version using cybernetics and sith alchemy. Their character models are even completely different. Warlord Kephess Kephess the Undying When Kephess shows back up on the Brontes phase as a clone he even uses a subset of his powers as Kephess the Undying. The powers Styrak and Brontes use on the council fight aren't exactly the same but very similar.
  6. Pretty sure he was talking about the guy being carried and not the group carrying him... When did it become a bragging right to be carried through content?
  7. I'm sorry, but if it's happened to you 5 times already then why do you still need to ask this question. It is pretty obvious what their policy is from the actions they have taken with you on multiple occassions.
  8. I do not think this word means what you think it means. The word you are looking for is "successor". Also, why not just create a new thread with a link to the old instead of a useless necro post?

  10. Uhhh... I just solo'd the Quesh datacron 2 days ago on a Merc. Not sure why you bothered to wait for others...
  11. JouerTue: I have put many beautiful mounts in the storeroom, each of them able to be ridden. El Guapo: Many mounts? JouerTue: Oh yes, many! El Guapo: Would you say I have a Bantha mount? JouerTue: A what? El Guapo: A *Bantha*. JouerTue: Oh yes, you have a Bantha. El Guapo: JouerTue, what is a Bantha? JouerTue: Why, El Guapo? El Guapo: Well, you told me I have a Bantha. And I just would like to know if you know what a Bantha is. I would not like to think that a person would tell someone he has a Bantha, and then find out that that person has *no idea* what it means to have a Bantha.
  12. Kudos to you, however, it would appear that not everybody had the same experience you did. This change makes sense as it makes the abilities more streamlined and aligned with other classes.
  13. He was clearly referring to the base skill being a shared ability. He was saying having the healing linked to a shared skill was causing problems. How was that hard to understand?
  14. I believe it may have been a patch to prevent people from glitching the run to quickly grind comms. Basically, people would run a gf op with 16 and have 1 or more log to an alt for the last boss. After downing that boss they would form a group with 15 alts and a character that dropped from the previous run in order to skip the first 4 bosses and still get the comms. You could do this over and over to abuse the lockout system.
