  1. While I mostly agree with this statement, it also kind of depends on if you're talking about FP or Ops. If you're talking FPs, unless that dps pulls more than you can handle and wipes the group, who cares? I haven't tanked all of the ops in this game yet, but did plenty of progression raiding for years in WoW and the times I did pug, if a dps pulled, either he got kicked or I just left. If I'm just running around in FPs as long as you're not pulling a boss before me I will taunt whatever you pull to me and tank as I should be, but ops are something much different. If I'm waiting on a pull in an Op it's for a reason. If you're not a tank and you pull in an Op, I default to "you pull it, you tank it".
  2. So let me make sure I understand this. You "regulate the trash talkers" by talking trash to them then posting screens of you doing so on the forums to make people think you're special? Or to make yourself feel better maybe?
  3. It has always taken longer to level through PVP and will always take longer because of the fact that you are waiting on a queue. PVE content you can gather 5 or 6 quests, get them done in around 30 mins or so and go back and get all the xp for them while the PVPer is maybe on his 2nd WZ in that same time. Comparing leveling through PVE to leveling through PVP is dumb and of no use. If you don't mind it taking longer to level, then go for the PVP. If you want to rush to max level, go PVE. It's that simple. Edit: Forgot to add that if you're really upset about how long it takes then just go do random planet questing while queued for pvp and when the queue pops, enjoy. Once the WZ is over, re-queue and keep questing in the meantime. This stuff is nothing new.
  4. Not really sure what the OP is talking about. I can get through any solo content just fine using any of my companions as long as I gear them up for it. I've never had any problem with companions other than that I just hate the sounds of some of them.
  5. 3 Years ago I was smashing the log in button as quickly as I could for early access so I could reserve the names I wanted. Then I unfortunately had to go work out of town for the next week so I didn't get to do much of anything other than get my characters into my guild and reserve the names. Once I got home it was game on though and I've always loved this game. There are always going to be some issues with any MMO, but overall SWTOR has been my favorite game for the last 3 years and counting.
  6. You cry too much and understand too little...
  7. Don't give the devs too many ideas here!!
  8. Of course people who play PVP more will still dominate those who don't. The difference with removing the gear gap is that when someone new comes into the PVP scene right now, they're nothing but cannon fodder/dead weight to the team. They hit like a wet noodle and likely know nothing about the strategies all at the same time. Now you remove the gear gap and put everyone on the same level. That same person is still a hamper to his team, but at least when he runs into the enemy he is a threat because his damage isn't laughable. He can do SOMETHING to help his team while he learns the rest.
  9. All of which I completely agree with except that they were talking about random solo queue. In a premade 4v4 team environment, yes, this game did it very wrong. In solo queue, it's really not any different than any other form of pvp in this game. Some like it, some don't. I personally don't care because I try to have fun no matter what and the matches are over pretty fast anyway.
  10. I get it now. You're saying that that game is so good for pvp because everyone who pvps in it does so on equal footing? Well, it's about time...
  11. In all fairness he's a droid so...
  12. I honestly don't even know what to say to this..... You are beyond help my friend.
  13. MONEY DOES NOT=HARSH PROGRESSION. ffs Is that really that hard to understand? Pay2win=more money, more win. No progression.
