  1. Weird. maybe it's just my perceptions then. Or the mobs I'm facing now as opposed to last week. Thanks!
  2. Good Morning! Something that I noticed last night, and I don't know if this is "as intented". Prior to 1.4 I'd pop my Lightning Shield and start blazing away, confident in my defensive posture for 30 seconds. After 1.4, I've noticed that in every fight, my shield is dropping well before the 30 seconds expire. I don't see anything in the descriptor that stated that it absorbed a certain amount of damage before dropping. Has anyone else noticed this? Was this changed in 1.4? Has it always been like this?
  3. In what Mission Skill? I've seen Rich Yield Underworld Metals and Luxury Fabrics in my Synthweaver. I have noticed that RY Gifts and Lockboxes keep coming up (what gets me is that the RY Lockboxes missions almost never give me an actual lock box. I'm always getting the same damn Relic over and over again...) To your second question; they're not repeatable because they're too damn good. Missions that give a ton of components, gifts, and guaranteed Purple Mats? And you only need to get them once to have in your list for the rest of your career? No way, it would destroy the economy. No one would buy greens or blues for any craftable gear, because every crafter would only ever make Purples (because they have a steady supply of rare components to make them).
  4. Yeah, I finally found one that's level 37. Starts as prototype, and was able to ReEngineer it to the "Robust" Artifact level. Might be the most sought-after recipies I've seen, outside of the rare color crystal ones...
  5. So, you've wandered around in Star Wars: The Old Republic for a while and maybe you've been a few places. Maybe you've even explored a bit and found some of those nifty little datacron things. Sure, they're good for getting stat boosts, but every so often you come across one that doesn't seem to be like the rest. Some sort of shard thing, what's all that about? Phil is happy to help you out there and give you the low down on Matrix Shards and their uses. You'll be happy to know TJ is back with RP Cantina, Perrian returns with all his bits, Tosche Station chimes in again along with Coruscant Confidential. There's a new contribution as well, all about Space Combat. Also, Phil and Brian take a look at the first month of the game, we promote our contest once more (You are preparing an entry, aren't you?) and somehow we make it through an early morning show without having to swallow any red OR blue pills. It's the latest Holocron 2.0, Episode 2.20 "Matrix Revelations." http://theholocron20.blogspot.com/
  6. Episode 2.18 "TOR-o TOR-o TOR-o!" Holy Glowing Fight Sticks, Gamer Nation! This show is over 3 hours long? How did that happen??!! Well, it happened because of you, Gamer Nation. We got a ton of bits submitted from you about all sorts of things, and they're all here: Coruscant Confidential - Your chance to meet a member of The Order of 66 up close and personal. Aligned Guild Updates - The latest news from the guilds both friendly and foul. Website Updates - Keeping you up to date on all the latest tidbits of info to be found on our guild web pages. Test Your Might - Guidance on completing Flashpoints and Operations successfully. RP Cantina - TJ tells you about guild RP opportunities and locations. World Boss Challenge - How the heck do you beat that big droid anyway? Messages from Beyond - OpiumCy is back with another voice mail for us. And, if that weren't enough already, AlphaAnt comes in to talk crafting with us at length, PLUS, a whole second part of the show where we talk Tips and Tricks for making your first moments, and the long run ahead of you, much easier and smoother. New bits, new music, new info, new people; it's all here in this Holocron 2.0, Episode 2.18 "TOR-o TOR-o TOR-o!" 7. Greetings Gamer Nation and SW:TOR players! This thread is here to announce updates to the Holocron 2.0 Podcast. Fiddleback and I hope you'll join us for our unique perspective on the Star Wars MMO Experience, and maybe even contribute your own work to our fine podcast. Thanks for looking, and hope to see you in game! The Holocron 2.0 Podcast
  8. I use G1-G12 for 1 through = G13 for Space G14 for F (cover) G15-G18 for F2-F5 Bottom row is for F5, Alt, and Shift Joystick for WASD movement Joystick buttons for AutoRun and Map I plan to couple all this with a G700 after Christmas. Should work great.
  9. Yup, but, as I said, it will be an expectation on the part of those who aren't in by then. They'll be carrying even bigger pitchforks, and bigger torches. Who knows? Maybe everyone WILL be in by the 15th....
  10. Once December 15th hits, getting in to play will be an expectation, we were told that by Pre-ordering, we'd get to play up to 5 days ahead of launch. Playing today and tomorrow is, indeed, a gift and a privelage. Thanks for the extra two days, Bioware!
  11. I'm in! Entered my code 10:30am on the morning of July 22nd. So they're at least up to day 2, as of 9AM.
  12. It's called the Galactic Trade Network. As of Beta, it was only on the Capitol World (Coruscant/Dormund Kass), but it may have kiosks in other locations now.
  13. Absoluetly true. You do not have to take a Crafting Skill. You're just limited to only being able to take one per character. So get out there and start supporting us crafters!
  14. This is such a good guide. I was referring to it constantly during beta, and will continue to do so during live. Keep up the good work, Astralfire!
  15. Greetings and Salutations from The Holocron 2.0 Podcast! I'm looking forward to getting to play, hopefully today, and can't wait to run aroun with all my fellow "Vrookies" on Vrook Lamar server! (I'm trying to unofficially name it the "Hedley Lamarr" server, but my co-host is fighting me...) Thanks to Best Buy not being on the ball, I put my code in about 28 hours after the Pre-Order system kicked off, so it's possible I won't be in for some time today, or even until tomorrow. Regardless, I can wait a little while longer. See you all in play!
