  1. So, because I was bored and didn't have anything else to do I figured I would chase down the composites of the Green Jedi armors. First, Kalnarius is correct, the most obvious one uses a lot of pieces from the Intimidator CM set. I took screenshots of the sets I found. First GJ was this guy on fleet. The only piece I am able to identify is: Legs = Intimidator Second GJ, was this couple at the Corellia Uptown Tram Station: Male: Chest = Knights Crusade or Blade Master Hand = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Belt = Peacekeeper Elite (not an exact match) Legs = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Boots = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Female: Chest = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Hand = I couldn't find a match for her gloves but I like these: Resilient Lacqerous, Killik-Silk Aegis, or Fortified Phobium Belt = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Legs = Shimmersilk or Lashaa Boots = She is wearing just simple boots, so any will do, but there are these: Defiant Mender/Onslaught MK-26 Third GJ are the Bulwark and Duelist in the Green Jedi Enclave Chest = I couldn't find an exact match and this is the most popular GJ piece. But, I personally like the following as alternatives = Ablative War, Composite Flex Body Armor, or Flex Heavy Everything else are the pieces from the Intimidator CM set, except for the wrists, I couldn't find the wrists. So, the above pieces should get you close enough to get a decent Green Jedi! Time to go make mine!
  2. Since I have the creds I figured I'd be the guinea pig, I have paid for the Onslaught upgrade for crew skills. Most of the skills I had leveled on alts without buying the upgrade from the vendor. So I decided to try it and see what happens. It's been 3 days and so far my crew skills have not been reset to 600. Granted, all my alts are still leveling their skills to 700. I'll report back a few days after once they all reach 700.
  3. You can still get them from some solo flashpoints too. I was getting 4-10 from solo Objective Meridian.
  4. To take a comp from 1-50 via purple rank 5 gifts (easiest purchase from vendor for 10k ea) costs: $4,810,000. The insta token from the vendor costs 3 Dark Projects and $4,250,000. A difference of half a mil. I am in the process of getting 8 comps on all alts and crafters to 50 because the crit and failure rates have changed with the last update and the purple mats from missions are even more valuable now. I am going the insta token-route because of cost and I am already burned out clicking on gifts. All told, it will cost me ~$500,000,000 to get them up.
  5. Crafting was the main thing I enjoyed about this game as a casual player. But now there is no point in crafting as a casual. To get the minimum of 270 gear needed to do the occasional MM FP requires mats you can only get from doing FPs! Previous xpacs I could craft and re basic sets of purple gear to gear up my alts to allow them entry to the occasional MM FPs or just run heroics or other content solo and be fine. Plus I could sell this basic sets of purple armorings, mods and enhancements and pull in 3-5 mil per week. Now there is literally no point to craft any gear (other than augs/stims/medpacs) because you get better gear from running those FPs. I only have 1-2 hours a week, tops, to play this game and now I have to do it running ****** PUGs to get basic gear instead of crafting it myself... I'm a founder, and this will be the first time I unsub until this gets "fixed". Sucks.
  6. I am not entirely sure you need to reach your personal conquest goal anymore. I just did this 2 days ago. I got conquest on my main, then logged into my crafting alts and I was still able to buy the compendium without having completed the conquest goal on the alts. Also, purchasing all of the Rank 5 Pink gifts (10k on fleet) needed to take a companion from Influence level 10 to 50 is about 470 gifts or 4,700,000 credits. While a compendium costs 4,250,000 plus the mats for the dark project.
  7. I keep an updated list, I think it is accurate. Grade 1 Coruscant (Pub), Dromund Kaas (Imp) Grade 2 Taris (Pub), Balmorra (Imp), Nar Shaddaa (Both) Grade 3 Alderaan, Tatooine Grade 4 Balmorra (Pub), Taris (Imp), Hoth (Both), Quesh (Both) Grade 5 Belsavis, Voss Grade 6 Corellia, Illum Grade 7 CZ-198, Makeb, Oricon Grade 8 Rishi, Yavin, Ziost Grade 9 Darvaniss, Zakuul Grade 10 Iokath
  8. You can also just get 9-10 sets of legacy gear, craft all the mods for said gear at different levels (check mod level) then swap out gear as you are leveling. There is a youtube video of someone doing just that which is where I got the idea from.
  9. I've been REing all 230 mods I've received from GC and I once got a grade 10 purple slicing mat out of one. So it happens.
  10. If you have a lot of scrap on hand it is more convenient to have them in your SH rather than have to go to the fleet to exchange them. Really just personal preference. I have them in all 4 of my SHs merely for convenience.
  11. ^This depends on your server's GTN and time invested vs. costs of materials. I only sell mats when they get to 2k+, otherwise it's not worth the time for me. With my crafting cycle of 19 alts all crafting and selling I make about ~2mil per day/login. And I am not even really trying that hard. Plus I HATE farming. There are so many other things I rather do than run around and gather. I will only do so if my own stockpile gets too low. However, I do recommend selling mats as a way for someone to make creds. It's how I made my first 10mil!
  12. Not really, all it does is drive GTN costs up. And those costs, at least on EH, are starting to fall. 1k/ea for Grade 10 mats on EH right now is not a bad price if you are a buyer.
  13. Yes indeed. I am usually up around 6am, even on the weekends sadly.
  14. As the title states, I am looking for an early morning raid team to join on EH. I am on the east coast so. I was in a progression raid guild back in 2.0 but haven't raided much since 3.0. With the launch of GC I am looking to get back into raiding. The only time I have large blocks of time to play is in the mornings on the weekends. I've mostly played DPS, but would be willing to learn tanking and/or healing if needed. I have geared (228s) alts of each. If interested let me know.
