  1. I have over 60 toons on SS about 20 or so are level 1 from all the server transfers that have happened to me from dalborra to fives. The level 20 does mean something to the wider community it’s time wasted, we are all time poor and that is coming from someone who is retired in their 40’s. You want your population to grow and by having all of these silly walls and requirements on transfers, stops the wider community from doing that. now I agree that most want there legacy to come across but I use all 16 of my 80’s in either conquest or raiding on both sides so they are out. Which leaves the rest. the other point I want to make is the sub problem the server was opened in November, but the email to potential players didn’t go out to December. Which means if they did sub then, then they don’t get free transfers which is not their fault that is solely on @KeithKanneg PVP is already dead on the server I can’t get a low-mid pop nor can I get a 80’s pop and we are talking in both after school times and prime time so if this is an indicator of what’s to come they need the transfers to be as least restrictive as possible or the population will fizzle out and once again it will be a dalborra and be merged with another server A lot of my friends that were past players of the game said they were waiting for transfers to happen but have now said they are not coming back as it is too restrictive to do a transfer. We are not talking about billionaires here most of them would only have 40-60 mil credits on them. So without a healthy population which must have to survive we are looking at another dead server in months and I don’t want that I love my 12ms ping I can actually interrupt at cast on this server I can’t on SS with 350ms ping. cheers
  2. @JackieCao @KeithKanneg As a player deeply invested in the Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) community (over 12 years), I cannot help but express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent announcement of character transfer requirements, particularly the arbitrary level 20 requirement and the restrictive credit cap of 2 million credits for transfers to the Shae Vizla server. These decisions not only seem unjustified but also disrespectful to the dedicated players who call Shae Vizla home. Let's address the elephant in the room: the level 20 requirement. Requiring characters to be at least level 20 before they can transfer to Shae Vizla is not only unnecessary but also downright absurd. This arbitrary threshold serves no real purpose other than to inconvenience players who may have characters below that level but still wish to join their friends and guildmates on the server. It penalizes new players who are just starting their journey in the game and may not have reached level 20 yet, as well as veterans who may have alts they wish to transfer. Furthermore, imposing a credit cap of 2 million credits feels like a slap in the face to the Shae Vizla community. Many players have worked tirelessly to accumulate wealth and resources in the game over the past 12 years, only to be told that they cannot transfer their characters if they exceed this arbitrary limit. It's as if the developers are saying, "Sorry, your hard-earned credits are no longer welcome here." This decision not only alienates the existing player base but also sends a clear message that their contributions to the game are undervalued this should be raised to at least 20 million per character What's even more frustrating is the lack of transparency and communication surrounding these decisions. Why was level 20 chosen as the minimum requirement? Why is there a need for a credit cap at all? These questions remain unanswered, leaving players feeling frustrated and disillusioned with the development team. It's essential for game developers to listen to player feedback and take into account the concerns and grievances of the community, rather than imposing arbitrary restrictions that serve no real purpose. Moreover, the timing of these character transfer requirements couldn't be worse. With the release of Game Update 7.4.1, players were eagerly anticipating the opportunity to transfer their characters to Shae Vizla and explore the new content with their friends. Instead, they are met with unnecessary obstacles and restrictions that only serve to dampen their enthusiasm for the game. It's disheartening to see the development team miss the mark so completely and disregard the needs and desires of the player base. In conclusion, the character transfer requirements for the Shae Vizla server, particularly the level 20 requirement and the 2 million credit cap, are unjustified, arbitrary, and disrespectful to the dedicated players who call this server home. These decisions only serve to alienate the existing player base and undermine the trust and goodwill that the development team has worked so hard to cultivate. It's time for the developers to listen to player feedback, reconsider their decisions, and work towards creating a more inclusive and player-friendly gaming experience for all. It is not too late for the development team to reconsider their decisions and prioritize the needs of the community. By removing the arbitrary level 20 requirement and adjusting the credit cap to a more reasonable value, such as 20 million credits, the team can demonstrate their commitment to creating a fair and inclusive gaming experience for all players. Taking proactive steps to listen to player feedback and address concerns will not only foster goodwill within the community but also strengthen the relationship between developers and players. It's essential to acknowledge and respond to the valid concerns raised by players, and making these changes would be a positive step towards rebuilding trust and restoring confidence in the development team. Cheers
  3. If you can not reproduce the faults after this post above then I really dont know, but it happens so often how can you not reproduce it? It happens more in WD and Papa K in R4 HM than in SM maybe because we are not dying as much. I can not say for certain in IP as I have only done it a couple times. But as a healer it is very frustrating
  4. Well that is 💩there goes my discount on non augmentation items and all those green items are going into the trash. They were my highest moving items 😪
  5. 1. **Issue Description:** - **GTN (Galactic Trade Network) Limitation:** Green items are currently unable to be listed on the Galactic Trade Network within the game 'Star Wars: The Old Republic' (SWTOR). This affects the ability of players to trade or sell these items through the GTN interface. - **Crafted Augmented Item Removal:** When attempting to list a item that is a crafted item that has been augmented with a crit-generated augment slot the GTN says that it will remove the augment slot before listing the item. ----- Surely not 2. **Steps to Reproduce:** - Attempt to list a green item on the GTN using the GTN interface. - Craft an item that crits to generate an augment slot. - Try to list the item and the warning shows before listing it on the GTN. 3. **Expected Behavior:** - Green items should be eligible for listing on the GTN for trade purposes. - Crafted items with augment slots should listed on the GTN without loss of augment slot. 4. **Observed Behavior:** - GTN restricts the listing of green items, preventing players from trading them through this platform. - Crafted item that has crit-generated augment slots for modifications before listing listed correctly now they do not 5. **Impact:** - The inability to list green items on the GTN limits the trading possibilities for players and affects the in-game economy. - Crafting items with augment slots that encounter then trying to list them can disrupt players' ability to conduct trade efficiently. 6. **Additional Notes:** - This issue affects players' ability to engage in the game's trading system and can have repercussions on the overall gameplay experience, especially for those who rely on crafting and trading as part of their in-game progression. 7. **Platform and Game Version:** - Game: Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) - Platform: Not Steam 8. **Screenshot/Video (if applicable):** - See Attached 9. **Workaround (if any):** - No known workaround for the GTN green item listing issue. . 10. **Additional Information Requested:** - Further clarification from the game developers regarding the intended functionality of listing green items on the GTN and the limitations related to removing crafted items with augment slots for modifications. Cheers
  6. Hello fellow SWTOR players and developers, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share a suggestion regarding the scoring system in the Hypergate warzone. While I appreciate the dynamic and strategic nature of Hypergate, I believe there may be room for improvement in terms of the scoring balance, specifically regarding player kills. Currently, the Hypergate warzone offers points for both capturing and controlling pylons and for defeating enemy players. While both aspects are essential to achieving victory, it has become apparent that a team can secure a round victory based solely on player kills, even without controlling a pylon. My suggestion is to consider adjusting the point values for player kills in the Hypergate warzone. By slightly reducing the point value per player kill and emphasizing the importance of pylon control, we can encourage more strategic gameplay and a more balanced experience. This adjustment would ensure that teams focusing solely on player kills would not have an undue advantage over those focusing on both player kills and pylon control. Of course, the exact point values and balance changes would require careful consideration and testing to maintain the integrity of the game mode. However, I believe that this change could lead to more engaging and competitive matches in Hypergate. I would love to hear the thoughts and opinions of the SWTOR community and the development team on this matter. Your feedback and insights are invaluable, and together, we can continue to improve and enhance the overall SWTOR experience. Thank you for your time and attention to this suggestion. May the Force be with you all.

  8. Hi Current I have to remove and reapply my security key every time I want to logon through the SWTOR website, as the Security Key App keeps defaulting to the Activation stage of the app. This is starting to get a little annoying. I have a iPhone 12 with iOS 15 beta and use the official SWTOR Security Key App. Please look into it and update the app ASAP. Cheers
  9. So can we please get a confirmation of what missions will be reset as in this patch note Due to the amount of changes being made to Group Finder, many group Missions will have their progress reset. So that the time and effort can not be wasted for queuing up missions for this patch and we actually complete them before reset tonight Cheers

  12. CXP needs to be heavy adjusted and the reason we are here and idea’s of a way to fix it With the new system and RNG in general we have already had this in PVP from 1.0 - 1.3 then they went to what we had before 5.0 the token system like PVE. Why did they change to a token system? Because it was fairer, had less complaints, and the users were able to customize to their roles for the gear that they needed. If you do a simple google search you can see the amount of ************ and complaining about people opening packs over and over again with little to no reward there was one case I did read of someone opening over 100 packs with no reward that RNG hey it seems like history repeating itself….. PVP RNG Rewards was removed in 1.2 when they were transitioning to/from battlemaster/warzone gear. They learnt then that that system didn't work then so why are we doing it now? http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/1.2.0/legacy http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=461588 In my experience I have had the worst luck in RNG. I got my first purple piece at level 20 next piece which was a set piece(Chest) was level 34 my next piece(Bracers) was 42, currently my CXP level is 110 and I have a belt, OH and implant to go for a full set of 230 purple gear. My fellow guildies which were at a lower level of CXP got a set piece at CXP 6 and then again at 9 and at 20 CXP already have 3-4 set pieces this is disconcerting. The road to gearing is way too long for many players for raiding or PVPin’ especially if they do multi roles on the toons that allow them to do so ie Merc Heals or Merc DPS or Guardian Tank or Guardian DPS. In these situations because you now need a hope and a prayer of the gear you need not want but need you have to rely on a system that could take you over a year to achieve which in my opinion the light at the end of the tunnel is too far away. You might for instance be a healer in ops but a DPS in PVP or due to certain mechanics in operations or other activities in SWTOR certain classes are more suited to certain fights like Rav or TOS melee are not suited for Revan as they lose too much DPS down time from the mech on 1st and second floor dont argue with me you do. This has all stemmed because in 4.0 they didn't release ops and had a planet level sync. The level sync has been proven that you don't need gear to level. The other bad thing about level sync is the constant level 61 now 65 green gear you get which doesn't sell on the GTN, whereas you used to get that level’s planet gear so at least it would be useful either cosmetically or as a higher stat piece of gear that you could use/RE or sell on the GTN. Now if I visit a lower level planet to catch up on achievements etc you just vendor everything not good for the economy. The no ops in 4.0 was offsetted by a highlighted op which then highlighted that gamers will always take the path of least resistance just like electricity. So they did all the easier ops when they were highlighted for the best gear which EV and KP covered all your gear with EC and/or TFB for implants as a vendor offhand was considered good enough. This then made gamers expect an easy ride for gear instead of teaching them that if you want the top gear you need to do the top operations which in all honestly because of no ops in 4.0, I would of accepted RAV and TOS to be the top tier and grind through to get the gear and the kill of revan and KFC, just like they did with TFB in 2.0 it would of taught players how to raid and be raid aware. Instead of all of these SM Warriors we have today that have no to little idea on how raid, or even train themselves to get the most out of their toon. A little research goes along way and there are alot of web resources to read and watch if you want to know and you must be willing to to learn as well as there are always better players than you trust me. The raiding community has collapsed - saying that I have got a team together which will be working to try and get geared and gel as a team if new ops come along in Apirl 2017 The last stream concerns me with how the BW Team view how people are actually playing the game long term. Story is only 25% at most of the game, it has so many more aspects that it astonishes me that they actually dont know what/how they play the game and more importantly why they do. The quest for purple gear is always going to be there as people will always strive for the best gear as quick as possible that is actually life right there. We must be always better than the 'Jones' it is human nature and there is a few reason for that race for gear 1. To get the Gear to Raid/HM FP do top end content 2. To RE to sell back to the community 3. Min Max gear 4. That mindset of must have the best gear in the game All of these are valid reasons plus some more for different people, now correct me if I am wrong but the only reason that people wear greens is the look, bolster purposes, they dont know any better or even thats all they can get from drops. Now saying all of that there are a few fixes that can be implemented I am a fan of number 1 but there are others 1. Remove the RNG System and return to the token system but slimline it with only 3 vendors Tank, DPS, Heals 2. Remove the level sync and return to the old system and the content that was effected like EV and KP be restored to previous levels. This in turn pushes innovation for Operations and other endgame activities PVP, Uprising etc. 3. Have set bonus pieces be inside tokens in the CXP packs. Yes that means vendors need to come back which was not a problem before, just have a Tank, DPS and Healing Vendor it really is just that simple. This means people can actually min max and get the most of their toons and then work on their skill level. This is a short list and I put back to the community to help find some other answers to help this game move forward Cheers
  13. After 6 months I have just added some extra conversational parts and reviewed my requests to see if BW have taken action Which some of they had
  14. Thanks for your comments so far You do realise that a budget is a fluid tool that changes with the needs of the company, sub company or department? EA Might say here is your overall budget but that doesn't mean that there is not mechanisms in place to request more funding or to change funding when required either back to EA or within BW itself. Business and governments alike do this daily and is part of their business rules it is a common practice As for the length of the document yes it is a shortened version I had over 27 points in my original document some were merged some were deleted but it took my over a month on and off to get it to this stage with what I thought were important points and with over 140 views and I hope some BW employees looking at it they will take it as constructive as possible as it isn't all bad points if fact they are most good or fair with some solutions. Which most post don't have. Cheers
