  1. i'd like to sell you some magic beans, toxic waste and some cigarettes.
  2. gibberish is better than silence. but after vowing more communication and continued support; neither happened. status quo on the bioware front. lie and steal, lie and steal.
  3. i suppose if i type out a note declaring that i'm spider-man it would make it so. sorry, i value actions over words. i have to say, as far as white-knighting and fanboyism goes, it takes quite the backbone to post a meaningless quotation that has no value when a history if in-action is all we have. and a quote from a thread where hundreds of players have begged them to actually stand bu the statement, no less.
  4. theres no one supporting this game at bioware anymore their dev staff have proven to be, time and time again, understaffed and utterly incompetent.
  5. i know you see forums debates as some sort of sport with winners and losers trying to be "right" but I dont think there is a single person who you would call a "chicken little" that wants this game to die. if the game survives, we all win. if the game dies, we all lose.
  6. most have to come to terms with the fact that most people that do pvp or raid left this game a long time ago for a million reasons. most players left are the singleplayer, easymode casuals. so of course bw will placate to them. i'd encourage anyone that pvps or raids to go elsewhere.
  7. server mergers are a fact of life within mmos. there will always be people opposed, and always people affected negatively. there are 3 ways this can go. 1) ideally bioware merges correctly and guilds and ship come too 2) they merge you and refund you for your houses. people will whine, and some will leave 3) do nothing and you keep your guild ship on a server that slowly wastes away until all those players are lost. I see mergers as a painful yet necessary step. it's a necessary pain to ensure the game holds onto as many players as possible. then again, this is hardly a multiplayer game anymore, maybe they are fine with letting servers die because for some reason people are still paying subs for a sp game. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  8. i dont have a crystal ball. i can't predict what pop will be like in 5min, a week or a month. what i can say is that these servers you listed haven't been higher than standard in the last 30 days and wouldn't used the phrase "packed to the brim" to describe these servers unless they were in Full or Very Heavy status.
  9. and ted cruz also dropped out of the gop race what's your point?
  10. fair point about the time of day; i wouldn't expect populations to be high right now. but if i say that populations for jc, eh and harbinger have not been any higher than "standard" in the last 30 days, are you still going to describe them as "packed to the brim"? because we still have heavy and very heavy to cross over before we get to "full" which is what "packed to the brim" means.
  11. i understand what you are saying. server capacity is dynamic. if a server limit is 100 and there are 90 people, its heavy. if the limit is changed to 500 then you could say it's light. this doesnt have anything to do with what the reply is about however. he describes harbinger, jc and eh as "packed to the brim" if you wanted to argue that the capacity limits have changed and pops have not, fine, make that claim. regardless of whether it's true or not, the server is not "packed to the brim" there are 5 server statuses. Light, Standard, Heavy, Very Heavy and Full. If the server is showing "light" or "standard", regardless of the absolute population numbers, the servre itself is obviously not "packed to the brim"
  12. you make it sound like there aren't more people out there that would benefit from it. this is a multiplayer game, afterall. in addition, pvp and raiding are both unplayable in this game regardless of server populations. pvp balance is a complete mess and operations are old and boring. megaservers won't change any of that. as for my top secret source on the server statuses, http://www.swtor.com/server-status
  13. is this where max_killroy swoops in to point out that it's either "all or nothing" and "with us or against us" *fake edit no wait he didn't, im shocked.
  14. so which is it then are those 3 servers he listed light and standard, or pack to the brim this is sort of a mutually exclusive way to describe the current situation on these servers. denial is all well and good but "light" and "standard" are how bioware describes it. i mean there are statuses like "heavy" and "full" that would better coincide with a description like "packed to the brim" but i digress.
