  1. Squeaking the wheel here. There appears to have been a major oversight somewhere with this "tweak" to the slot machines. We've gone from a 45% rate drop on junk to less than a 00.5% rate drop, and there are some items we no longer can put a % on. Someone pull up their big boy or big girl pants and lets get this fixed. This bone head play makes Tait look like a liar, slive or moron too. Lets get it fixed fast for his sake at least if getting it fixed for the tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands.. what's the number of us who are subscribing to this game? -Rob
  2. Agree, either a "mistake" or incompetence ... would probably couple them. How can your testing process miss this? Are you giving people unlimited fun time on screwing up> These mistakes are absurd. Less than 1% they are talking about in these posts here. I WANT TO MAKE THAT CLEAR!! that's not 5% or 10% BUT LESS THAN than 000.5 % for jawa junk, no one I've talked to has seen a cartel cert, or walker. Info from the dev team on what was happening was great! And regardless of that this was a fail. Please keep w/ the info to the community, we love it! In this case it helps us realize that what has happened is a mistake, just get it taken care of quickly please! -Rob
  3. Can we demand to have the next season's rewards up front? If they want to hold a few surprises great. But lets see the bulk of the rewards up front!
  4. I would guess you are either on the leader board solidly or had no chance to make it. I do like your other points though. They appear to be limited by what they can limit. Allowing each toon to do the objectives would be helpful. -Rob
  5. This "change to what was intended" has effectively locked the leader board. Maybe for the first three days of the conquest it "wasn't as intended", but re-running the flashpoints was seemed to be the best way to gain points. It's the weekend now, a holiday weekend for many...(no conquest on Monday again so SOL to those planning to spend the day exploring this new part of the game) As far as I know there is no advanced warning as to what the Conquested planets will be, or what the specific objectives will be, especially this first time through, so we have to go on the fly, making plans, scheduling times to get together... unless you have 40 people on constantly... we made plans, set-up a strategy and get blindsided here... total bullship! and bush league bra.. I'm in 3 guilds. For two of them we're on the leader board, upper 1/2 so no one off the board has any chance to catch us now, great thank you for skrewing them over! But in the other guild we planned to make a push this weekend.... no chance, totally shut down can't possibly get on the board. You changed the game 1/2 way through so it's not possible to make a huge point push unless you are crafting or have huge numbers to run warzones and star fighter. This mid week, exactly half way through, change was a bone head call. It seriously unbalances the conquest. I'm guessing you won't have the balls to reverse it, for the last 2 days or sooner..., at least learn from it. Ask yourselves "Will making this 'intended change' 1/2 way through the week keep a balanced playing field?" Again frustrated with incompetence... shame on you all, - Rob
  6. Just found this. Which is very helpful but I wouldn't think that I would need to go to the Blog section to find out about the upcoming month/months. Tells about bounty week, double xp weekend plus other goodies. ------------ Hello everyone, With the Summer of SWTOR officially behind us, and some big announcements about our upcoming free Digital Expansion now released, I wanted to just share in one place a summary of the things we are working on for you in the months ahead. Some of this is a recap of information we have already released, but there are some new pieces here too! First up is Game Update 2.4.2, which is currently targeted for launch on October 29th. This biweekly update contains the usual bug fixes and minor tweaks, but it is notable for two very important features: the start of Ranked PvP Season One, and the launch of web-based Ranked PvP Leaderboards! Have you ever been frustrated trying to find an available name when making a new character? We currently have many, many millions of character names across all the servers, some of which are no longer in use, and as has been frequently noted here on the forums it is difficult to find any good names. We want to flag some 36% of those characters for rename, many of which were created in the early days after launch, and free up a lot of name options for our current players. Get ready to snag that name you always wanted! Exact details are forthcoming, but here’s what you need to know now: Current Subscribers will not have any characters renamed, regardless of activity or level on that character. Period. Even on inactive accounts, the bulk of characters renamed will be under level 10, and no character level 30 or higher will be renamed. November 12th is our current target date for this. Speaking of November 12th, that will be the start of the next Bounty Contract Week, which we’ll continue to have every month. In other event news the mysterious Gree Starship will be returning in December. As you’ve seen, we continue to update and improve these events and add new Galactic Reputation rewards. As Thanksgiving Season approaches, you are at the top of our list of things we are thankful for. We receive a lot of support from you, the players, and it’s really because of you that we are able to continue development on this game we love so much. We’d like to show a tiny measure of that thanks with a Double XP weekend starting November 27th and continuing through Thanksgiving Weekend until December 2nd. The no-longer-super-secret space project has been revealed at last! We are working hard to bring you the Galactic Starfighter™ free Digital Expansion in February, but on December 3rd we are planning to open it up to Subscribers with Game Update 2.5: Galactic Starfighter Subscriber Early Access. Also in Game Update 2.5 we’ll have continued class balance updates and an all new PvP Warzone Arena, the Makeb Mesa Arena. We will have individual blogs and updates on each and every one of the above items, stay tuned to SWTOR.com and these forums for updates! This isn’t an exhaustive list, and we are also working on some (very exciting) longer term stuff and some shorter term surprises we aren’t ready to cough up just yet. As always the dates listed above are the dates the teams are shooting for, and though we are working very hard and feel like we can hit them there is always a chance something will have to slip if it’s not ready. I’ll let you know as soon as we know if that happens. We here at BioWare would like to say thank you for your continued support. I was going to say ‘keep your feedback coming’, but I don’t think you need the encouragement – you’re a vocal lot! But we love to hear it, and we wouldn’t rather have any other community than you. See you in game! Bruce Maclean Senior Producer
  7. Looking around the website I don't see any timeline for future events. How does one know when the next bounty week will be or if anything special is to happen around the upcoming holidays? Thanks- Creo
  8. As an Armstech I sell many items on the market. I face at least two significant issues with the mail received from many sales, and in both cases I don't know what item to craft and put back on the market for sale: 1. Sometimes no information is given: (exact copy/paste) "Someone has purchased the item you put up for sale on the Galactic Trade Network. Attached is your asking price and deposit, less the Galactic Trade Network's commission." 2. Sometimes the information given is insufficient, in the following example I can make five different types of 'Revolutionary Blaster" Why is the item name truncated? "In these cases the first name of the item in omitted: (paraphrase) "Player X has purchased a 'Revolutionary Blaster' for 50,000 Credits, here's your cut" -Help
