Im fairly certain he taunts on default settings and Kira doesn't, may explain his extra damage. Ive not seen any real difference in the damage they take other than the fact that he's tanking

Just curious what does your DPS total end up being by the end of the game? At 40 specced for focus I hover around 200k consistently (+ or - 20k), more with a healer. So if thats more then you do try focus if its less id stick with vigilance.

Your wrong, I have found Guardians specced as focus are in fact far better then most classes (if not all) when played right prior to 1.1, making force push reset leap just makes them that much more dominant. Your either playing wrong or your talents are distributed wrong probably both. Guard-This.com go find the PVP post there if you need proof

The biggest advantage I've seen so far is in instanced PVP as republic i get a good mix of all three WZ's as Empire it was all Hutt Ball all the time Wait that changed with 1.1 hmmmm

If your feeling your dos is gimped as a guardian your either a. doing it wrong (most people) or b. just bad (wait, maybe most are here). If you spec as focus, and then starting taking every single talent that buffs force sweep. With all the talents, force sweeps crits are huge (5-6k), guaranteed (talents), and usable every ten seconds or so, fill the down time with sundering strike and master strike and your dps is potentially as good or better than most

Depends on your class and individual ability. You'll always be able to do something although if your looking for top DPS, don't count on it unless you've got some skillz (yo) and really know your class

The notstromo pad works fine, I prefer the naga but it'd probably be easier to stick with what he knows. Class wise Sorcerer/Sage kites pretty well, and I've found it can be played pretty easily with 10-15 abilities or less, Sniper also works pretty well but they are pretty stationary for their big abilities and so wouldn't fit with the desire to kite as well

Please don't complain as a Juggernaut/ Guardian in PVP. I know its whats cool now but seriously if your playing your class right your AOE can be absolute insanity. Guard-this.com if you really need proof

This. A Razer Naga would be a fantastic investment for a one handed player, places all the number buttons on the side of the mouse letting you play with just one hand. I usually only use one hand to play anyways because of my Naga

They are quest rewards, random drops, breaking down uncommon quality purple lightsabers (rumor haven't seen it) or from PVP commendation vendors.

Ive found that this is true of most if not all of the PVP servers, mostly because PVP servers are usually made up of players with previous MMO experience who know to go with class mechanics not appearance. So if you want balance go PVP
