Yup. Beta testers did a bad job mostly. A question on the survey asked 'Would you recommend this game to a friend?' on a 1 to 10 scale. BW said they received great feedback and were very happy with the results. I bet people rated 9 and 10 out of 10. Beta was even worse than retail.

GW2 is an MMO now? I don't have plans on playing it anyways. What I'm waiting for is Diablo 3.

You don't seem to understand. We don't care how WoW was at release. We are comparing the games now because it's what counts.

WoW charges $15 a month. SWTOR charges $15 a month. Direct competitor. Don't care if WoW is 8 years old.

Legacy is probably going to add new races (nothing innovative there) and bonus XP when leveling your alts (heirlooms).

How much does it cost to dev. your own engine? With 300M budget, could have done that. Take out the voice overs, save 60M, put it towards your own engine.

Don't expect the game to run any better. The engine is bad, that's how it is. You have to deal with it or stop playing. I chose to stop. I'm 46 but I'll try to hit 50 before my sub runs out. Then I can finally let the game rest in peace.
