  1. Pretty sure it's not possible.
  2. I'm thinking it probably can't/shouldn't be done. Playing the same account on 2 servers doesn't sound right. Not at all.
  3. Good luck OP but I sincerely doubt you'll get any sort of compensation. The EULA & TOS you agreed to have a provision in them that they cannot guarantee access to any specific servers or characters. Chances are if they have a catastrophic problem which brings all/many servers down for multiple days, then they might be willing to extend credit. Only one server affected? Queues on servers? Not likely. You can roll on another server.
  4. I can agree with you that there are a great many of those groups which, intentionally or not, do spout off just as much hate rhetoric as the people they are campaigning against, but I believe its largely inaccurate to say as a whole that they are hate groups and illegal. Anyway, have a good day and thank you for the short debate. I enjoyed it.
  5. If any act of exclusion on the basis of gender, race, sexual orientation, etc was wholly and indisputably illegal then the various scholarship opportunities out there for women, african/asian/hispanic/etc populations would be brought down as illegal as well. And again, I'm arguing that there is a difference between discrimination and niche. Women's only facilities create a comfortable NICHE environment. They are not MALICIOUSLY excluding men. Discrimination, as its generally interpreted, is a malicious exclusion. Its an attempt to deny a person or persons rights and/or privileges for no justifiable reason. Creating a guild for women only so they dont have to deal with the often lascivious comments directed at them by men, creating a 'safe spot' guild for the LGBT, a guild that centers around religious principles, etc. is not a malicious effort to exclude but rather an effort to bring together a like-minded group of people. The guilds in these games are more like college/HS campus groups. Btw- I think you meant Confederate jack.
  6. There's a difference between discrimination and creating a niche guild. If a group of women want to create a women's only guild, there is NOTHING wrong with that. The same goes for men wanting a men's only guild. As long as they aren't using their guild as a vehicle to promote discrimination, and are simply using it to create a comforting atmosphere for the players, they aren't discriminating. This is the same logic behind the very legal and wide-spread practice of opening women's only gyms/fitness centers. For one reason or another the patrons of those places are more comfortable without the men around. Now if a group of women or men created a guild for the sole purpose of promoting male/female superiority, that'd be more a form of discrimination.
  7. The person who asked about gender? Yep totally suggested it in an inappropriate way. The people who are complaining that asking such a question is NEVER appropriate, both genders can get along just fine, play with everyone, etc,. etc.? They needed a reality check. I'll agree to stop "white knighting" if you agree to start thinking a bit more before posting.
  8. Lets consider a woman who has been *****. She may feel far more comfortable in a women's only guild so she doesn't have to hear a male's voice on Vent or deal with the potentially harassing comments. Or what about that gay kid who was teased in HS? He may prefer an LGBT guild so he doesn't have to hear/see the slurs he lived with for 4 years. There is nothing wrong about creating a niche guild so that you can play with others who share your life experiences, political/religious views, and/or morals. Just have to remember that while guilds are private organizations, you dont have the right to harass other players into joining you or harass them because they dont meet the criteria to join. Remain civil.
  9. The batteries on these types of tokens last for YEARS. There are people using RSATokens like these at my work who've had them for 5+ years and never had the battery run out. As for breaking, as long as you know the serial # you can always call customer support and have them remove the token.
  10. I slogged through 8 pages of this argument so I'm adding my thoughts then getting the hell away from here! I'm male. I'm gay. Since BW DID decide to include romance options in the game, I look forward to seeing same-sex options. I don't need graphic scenes. And I FAVOR adding an option in the preferences to disable ALL romance options. However, I see no reason to differentiate between them. Either romance is on or romance is off. In real life you have to be able to deal with that forward thinking gay guy who tries to flirt with you. No reason why you cant learn to deal with it in game. HOWEVER I want to see fixes first: queue times, FPS issues, etc. Someone early on pointed out that a large company can develop these things concurrently. That's true. Until we talk budget. I'd rather see the budget that would go to developing the scenes, script, recording the actors, etc for same-sex romances be diverted to fixes and get those taken care of first. Then allocate money to this and implement it. And that is my two cents. Have fun people.
  11. This reminds me, I ordered an RSA token for my new account at work back in Oct and I haven't gotten it yet... Should probably call someone. Anywho, what they said- LONG battery life. Not a worry.
  12. Did you report it? In any MMO I've played, naming policy is enforced reactively. The time, effort, and cost of proactively enforcing naming policies would make our monthly subscription fees prohibitively high.
  13. No. Have you tried to log in to the game? Or are you just looking for your email? Yesterday ALOT of people reported getting in but never getting the email.
