  1. OK, Spend manhours on providing us with the Tauntaun Ram Pet and other superfluous game fluff or actually address the fundemental need for server merges / character transfers / cross server LFG tool. I mean I love this game but i really believe they do not listen. Love Ez
  2. I am in total agreement with you. I like this game, i dont want to start a new toon on a heavily populated server, I just want to play the 50's i have in the company of others. Ez
  3. I dont care if they merge servers or allow transfers as long as they actually do something. I am fed up of being on a server where at peak time no planet has more than 15 players and the fleet may stretch to 20 on a good night. I just want to play the toons that I have got to 50 on a server where there is life. Love Ez
  4. Hi all, I play on The Arkanian Legacy server. Saturday evening about 8pm 22 players on fleet. 13 players on alderan and 11 players on tatooine. These numbers make it so difficult to do fp and hc groups. This needs bringing up as much as possible and in as many threads as possible. Their lack of reaction to low pops on servers will stop some people playing. Just give Mr a free transfer to a heavy pop server or start merging very very soon! Numbers were imp side btw. Love Ezra
  5. Hi all, I also play Sawbones and wrt stats, here are my thoughts: Cunning>critical rating>power/surge Alacrity unimportant. Aim etc. As a healer unimportant.Tech power is importantas that effects the size of our heals and as a secondary point effects damage from our grenades. Cunning for obvious reasons Critical rating mainly for DS but critical heals are a bonus! Power effects the size of our heal and damage output Surge effects the size of our critical I cant make up my mind at present between power and surge but have been favouring surge to go hand in hand with my critical rating. Love Ez
  6. Ummm did you know that your sig concerning the Bartle Test is actually based on all those "old crappy MMO titles" LMAO. Hey and having 0% socialising kinda makes me feel I know the sorta player you are! Go back to ya console. Ez
  7. Absolutely agree! Problem is many of todays "WoW Hardcore Elite" who are on these forums whining about SW were still eating milk and cookies and wearing diapers when Everquest was released. It really was hardcore. Ez
  8. Yes WoW is reasonably casual. My favourite MMO was Everquest and origional Ultima Online. A wipe in EQ in a raid could mean hours of corpse recovery, with all your hard earned gear laying on a corpse you cant reach! It felt exciting it felt dangerous. So yes WoW is and always was a casual MMO. Ez
  9. Heya All, Just to add my view. Please Bioware, absolutely no dungeon finder please!!! It is just not needed and all the negatives far outway the positives for all the reasons stated elsewhere. I played WoW closed and open beta and Vanilla up to BC with no dungeon finder and it had a great server community, you tended to build up a friend list of like minded players who you did instances with and you got on well with. I went back to WoW with Cataclysm to find a cross server dungeon finder tool that had just ruined the server community and promoted a bad attitude from certain sections of the community in the instanced dungeon environment as there was absolutely no need for any social interaction or teamwork. 10. Hi All, Just to keep this thread going, my worst ability that clearly demonstrates the issue is diagnostic scan. I really hope Bioware fix this! I was wondering if the issues with the raid party interface not updating could be down to the same server lag issues... Bioware have been aware of that from way back in beta and has not been rectified. Makes me concerned that this is quite a design floor that is difficult to change without spending bucket loads of money! Ez
  11. Hi All, Sadly I find myself supporting this thread. I really like this game but the unresponsiveness of the Ui is a real issue. I get very frustrated at hitting backblast (Iplay scoundrel)and then having to wait for the animation and damage. I am no pvp'er but this must be a very hard environment to pvp in.Even things like getting out of aoe range is a struggle sometimes. I do notice that as the number of players in the area increases it gets worse. I would suggest that in the initial design of the game a decision was made to do less data processing / calculations etc. On the client and more on the server in an attempt to make the game playable over as wide a range of pc. Platforms as possible. The downside to this maybe this weired "disconnected" feeling we get. Dunno just my thoughts really. But the problem is very real and frustrating. Ez
  12. Hi all, Sadly, I am getting old and my eyesight is not what it was. I play in 1080p on a 23" monitor and the buff icons on me/my target/group members are sooooooooo tiny! Is there an option to make them bigger short of buying a much bigger monitor Love Ez
  13. Heya all, Just wanted to say I think this game isquite good! My main wish is to see a customisable Ui with macros. Etc.. and a combat log would be nice. A couple of gripes with some members of the community. 1.) End Game. *** are you complaining about? Don't rush to 50 is the answer! When Wow was released there really was no end game. It went live in jan/February 2005 and the first raid instance, molten core, went live some 3 months later at leasr! And there was very little organised pvp unless u were on pvp server! So stop comparing and qq'ing. 2.) Dungeon lobby tools. I pray to god that Bioware do not listen to the whining and introduce anything like what Wow now has. Just start being sociable and friendly and helpful to other players and you will get groups and build up your own community of players form guilds etc.. Love Ez
