  1. I know they will need a name change b/c I have created lvl 1 characters on the destination server already. I want to change all the names of my characters, hence the reason I did this. I was just wondering when you choose the new name.... on the website during transfer or when you first login on your characters after transfer is complete. Thanks!
  2. I'm about to transfer 5 characters from SS to SF because SS is dwindling, and they will all need name changes. When does that happen? On the swtor website during the transfer process or when you first attempt to log in on the characters after the transfer is complete?
  3. Gosh, I guess I read it wrong, but I swear my buddy told me that too. Oh wells. Thanks for the help regardless. I feel like I'm going nuts now. lol
  4. Then why these patch notes where they said if you log in on an old toon after launch of LotS that existing characters can even change their first combat style, and then a second as well if you sub? I can try to dig up the notes, but i just read them, old though they be.
  5. No, I am asking why I wasn't given the opportunity to change my FIRST combat style (not my second). I'm clear on the second and yes, I'm VIP and have played since launch and have multiple DS/LS characters at level 70. I was told that if you log in an an exsiting character after Legacy of Sith launch that you could change your FIRST style.
  6. Legacy lvl 43. Combat Styles window: Mission Log (this one triggered but it's only for choosing second style): Ship Terminal (not the right mission): ....to top it off, I don't even know how the game was supposed to present me with the choice of re-choosing my initial combat style. I'm so lost. lol
  7. Been playing since 2011 or whenever it launched. I definitely have on multiple toons.
  8. The below patch notes don't seem to be true for me. They seem to say (correct me if I'm wrong or if this has changed since) but is it not saying that after Legacy of the Sith launches that we will be able to change our existing combat style (plus getting a second after class story) when logging into the game on existing characters? This never happened for me and I never saw an option to do so after coming back to the game and logging in on existing characters.
  9. Thanks for supporting. It is a bother... but only to us OCDs right? lol
  10. ...and it's only when I communicate in chat. Even other places in chat, it shows up correctly. Like...
  11. Devs... love your heard work on this really old, nostalgic game that we all still love and cherish... ok that out of the way, would you PLEASE make it so that the uppercase letters we use when creating our character names are honored in the in-game chat box? I have a character named Val Dorian, but when I communicate in chat, it shows up as Val dorian. Looks so crappy. Granted, I'm a graphic designer and I'm sure there are plenty of people who could give a **** but I just feel like this was something that was overlooked. The capitalization shows up correctly everywhere else in the game, but text chat. Please and thank you!
  12. Yeah and those are pointless to me anyway as you can't equip them on your character or anything. Thanks!
  13. Really? lol.... this massive wall of text to simply say "The changes were missed" which should be easily understood by any reasonable player who gets how much goes into dev changes and patch notes, and this stuff gets missed all the time. Talk about TL;DR. LOL
