  1. The <Triumph Conclave> is a secret powerbase that aims to destroy The Empire in this time of weakness, with a few distractions along the way. Heavy RP Guild with pretty much all sorts of RP. /w for more. We are a heavy RP Repside guild that facilitates and appreciate almost every sort of RP due to the diversity of the characters that may join together to fight for their cause. If you wanted more info on this, then please contact: Sharok'Vivi Pyrús Avakéth - via whisper or in-game mail. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope to see if this interests anyone.
  2. Hey, if you are looking for an RP guild I'm sure I can help you out there. The guild I am part of is called the The Triumph's Conclave and they are focused on destroying The Sith Empire while both sides have been weakened by The Eternal Empire, of course however they have to manage their own resources accordingly due to this. If you find any interest in that base sort of focus, and would like to know anything about the current story and other things please do feel free to ask.
  3. When it comes to my characters I only really RP a specific timeline if I am in a guild. For instance, when publicly RPing outside of a guild I will not mention anything but deep set cultural aspects and will only talk about the current story IC if everyone else around me is doing so. I have seen conflicts OOC between people in the Slippery Slopes who do not accept the the current timeline and practically ignored the Zakuul Knights that were patrolling and rather offended the two Knights in an OOC manner. It becomes difficult and awkward at times in my opinion, but I try to RP my character in the situation and not tailor the timeline as to hinder another person's RP with my character. That may be somewhat strange of an explanation, and I may not have done so very well. If not, please feel free to question me. :)
  4. Thanks for all the replies everyone, it helped me get other people's insights on something I've only really just started to think about. In terms of my RP, I formed a guild on the Progenitor and seeing as it would seem most people follow the timeline we do also so that we may fit appropriately with other people's RP. I certainly agree however with the presence of pesky godmodders and people unwilling to improvise etc. as it just gets tiring. I mean it's nice to have some sort of an idea of where your character is headed, but to try and enforce every tiny thing through godmodding just isn't what RP is about in my opinion. In an Imp Side guild that was based on Imperial Military etc. I climbed to the position of second in command and when the organisation had become a bit clogged up with Sith Lords my character made it his duty to kill them all, yet not with his own hands. He spent ages manipulating everyone and finding out things that would make the head Darth get rid of or kill them, find reasons to kill them himself and so on. He got in a bit of a god complex and had killed almost everyone but the Darth and then got ganged up on and stabbed by thugs on Nar Shaddaa in some random cantina RP I was doing. Dunno why, but thought I would share that. Any more thoughts would be great to here!
  5. (I honestly did not have the faintest clue where to put this, so put it here; if it is in the wrong place please tell me for future reference.) Since I played this game at launch there was all sorts of people just RPing in the world around them, guilds often collaborated so that their RP wasn't simply contained to their own guilds, and there was just a general sense of belonging in the RP community. However now I have come to notice that people rarely RP in public now, all the spots I used to go to for RP are now empty, almost everything is contained within guilds. What's even worse is that I have also noticed guilds becoming a lot more hostile to one another, simply writing off an RPer because of their guild name and other such things. Anyone else got any thoughts on this? P.S. Please remember to show respect here, I can't tell you how many times on other websites I have been slagged off for being an RPer or making a slightly incorrect point. ]
  6. (First of all I would just like to say I was not sure where to put this thread and that I am simply curious as to why I am having difficulty running the game) For a while now, I have noticed that my new computer is having a somewhat difficult time running this game and Im curious as to what I could do to make it run smoother: I have turned down to Very Low and I still receive the same lag that I get on Ultra. A lag spike before combat, mounting and demounting, Flashpoints are just horrendously laggy. Anyway Im going to provide some of my PC's specs so if anyone can tell me what I may need to upgrade of if it is just a bug or an error of some sort I would be glad if you could tell me! PC Specs: EVGA GTX960 2gb Graphics Card AMD Athlon X4 860K Quad Core Processor @ 4.3Ghz 12gb RAM Windows 8.1 Pro If anyone could take the time to tell me what is holding my system back from running that game I would be greatly appreciative! Thanks!
  7. Ive been playing SWTOR now for about two and a half years now and have constantly taken part in HM Fps and NiM Operations while playing at a fairly good and constant standard for the NiM Operations. However I have heard that by playing with key bindings one will become much better at the game as a whole. Thus I tried for a month or two with key bindings and found that I played better by just clicking on my abilities than with Key Bindings. But I would still like to strive towards using Key Bindings to further my progress as a grouped player. So if anyone can give me any tips on how to improve on Key Bindings especially for grouped content it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  8. I am aware that people may have rather mixed views on this and, just to say, I did not right this thread to get moaned at or lectured as I am aware of a few of the downsides. Recently I purchased the Dromund Kaas Apartment and all of it's expansions and it now feels rather cold and not homely at all despite my efforts to lighten it up a bit. As (I would appreciate no comments such as "Go play on a European server" please) I play on an American sever but play from England as my friends from America asked me to play with them, I am unable to regularly gain credits from Operations, Flashpoints etc. from the time difference. So after spending over 1.5 million credits on everything from the Dromund Kaas apartment I decided to go and explore the Coruscant one with my Sage. So I bought that and loved it straight away, it felt so much more homelier and I really wanted to live there with all the rooms. But my 3 55's only had 150,000 credits each. So I wish I could just sell my Dromund Kaas apartment and then use the money to buy all the rooms for the Coruscant one. Either that or transfer the Rooms I purchased on Dromund Kaas to the the Coruscant one instead. Any one else ever thought around the same lines as this? (Once again, I did not post this to get moaned at for my lack of credits or anything else as I have had previously)
  9. Ok, thank you. It's a bit of a pain really, lucky I have an assassin getting close to that mark xD Well thank you for the help, hopefully they will give it to those who have already done the storylines in a patch or something.
  10. Ok, so I found out that a lot of the items you can use for decorating your stronghold come from achievements. I have loads of achievement items such as things from operations and some flashpoints. Although I have 2 questions: 1) What achievement gives you the (class) round banner? Because if it is for a level 55 of that class I should have 3 but don't for some reason. 2) I have certainly done several of the other achievements which grant you items, will I have to do them again? (Sorry If this should have been placed in customer support, I was not sure where to place it) Any answers to these questions would be more than appreciated
  11. If Onderon is used in an expansion I would love to see the city of Iziz, which is by far my favourite place in Kotor 2, and how it has developed since the civil war between Queen Talia and General Vaklu.
  12. I'm not sure whether only I have this problem however recently I have found that whenever I play the final boss of The Terror From Beyond I don't get teleported to right place in the second instance, I get teleported to the same instance, just underneath everything which leaves me to look up at everyone fighting The Terror From Beyond, while I am seemingly standing on nothing but a blue vortex and cannot move at all. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?
  13. Oh , I always get the same one every time, but the one I thought the OST sounded a lot better.
  14. While searching for the SWTOR main Theme to listen to while walking down the road ( this was on my phone) I found what was labelled "The SWTOR Main Theme OST". So I listened to it to find it actually was rather different to what I actually found myself listening to every time my character screen is up, and in my opinion was better. So I'm not sure whether or not this was the original or a modified version but I think it is a lot more suiting to the game, and I'm wondering whether or not anybody else feels the same way. Here is the link to what is labelled as SWTOR's OST for the Main Theme :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0knE_4x_8M0 So my suggestion is that ,if this is not a modified version, this should be used opposed to what we actually get on our character screen. If there is a reason why we do not get this it would be nice to know. Anyway, please tell me about what you think of the OST and my suggestion!
