  1. Looking for someone who can craft the jerky on Corellian Run (Republic). Thanks! <3
  2. I agree. We need more than that! I believe people are slowly starting to give up and move on to other things.
  3. Thanks, I had forgotten! It's been rectified.
  4. Hey Jenemi, could you perhaps update the first post with the following Ice Scrabbler Jerky recipe? I know you can find it on other forums threads but it would be nice to have it here as well Ice Scrabbler Jerky recipe: Ice Fern (Hoth coordinates -3085, -1756) Ice Scrabbler Liver (drops from several different kinds of mobs on Hoth/Illum) Cosmic Trace Particle x4 Inert Virus x4 Pickled Space Worm x2 (can be purchased from the Hoth cantina vendor)
  5. The ice scrabbler liver and ice scrabbler jerky are two different items. The liver is used as a crafting ingredient in order to make the jerky, which in turn gies you the buff. Hope this clarifies things.
  6. THIS ^^ I definitely agree that Georg Zoeller should get in on this thread and give us a little hint! C'mon Georg, you have tortured us enough What are they paying you to keep this information from us? We'll double it. Please? We've got cookies
  7. You guys are crazy, the new rewards system is much, MUCH better than 1.1.5! Now team players are actually rewarded for helping the team, and not camping the turret once the 4 medal is achieved...
  8. At this point in time, taking the "jerky buff" is the only concrete lead we have. Ultimately the decision is yours, but I would suggest taking it only once you have a list of concrete locations to explore, such as the dead tauntauns, the 'dead mother tauntaun', the wompa cave, etc.
  9. We really need coordinates of those supposed 'dead mother' tauntauns... Anyone? Also, the coordinates in the first post concerning the dead tauntauns are correct, I've previously verified myself... perhaps this means the corpses can spawn in different locations? That would increasingly hint at their importance if they shift/change positions... Perhaps to find the tauntaun you need to be in the right place at the right time? This mystery is getting increasingly difficult to solve, oh boy >.<
  10. Hey, these should work in any browser, I've opened them in both Firefox and Explorer. Have you tried getting to the cave at these coordinates X: -3516 Y: 155 and trying to find the tauntaun using the "jerky buff" and the NVSCCS?
  11. Can you provide coordinates for the 'wampa cave in the zone of the ancient probe' for those who are also searching? Thanks!
  12. Hey, the dead tauntaun coordinates can be found in the first post under "coordinates worth looking into"; it has been updated. As for the dead mother and her baby, as well as the wompa cave, people have mentioned finding them but no coordinates have yet been posted. I'll let you know if anyone posts them today. Cheers.
  13. Hey guys! I'm unfortunately away from my computer this weekend and won't be able to actively participate in-game. However, I've read through this thread numerous times and did some research outside the game based on suggestions from fellow tauntaun hunters. There is actually ALOT of useful information on the tauntaun wookieepedia page which coincides with our hunt. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Tauntaun To paraphrase, the following sentences are the most crucial and should be seriously considered: 1) When not eating the fungus that grew beneath the frost layer or lichens found in hoarfrost, the omnivorous tauntauns were also known to eat ice scrabblers and Hoth hogs. 2) Tauntauns were able to give birth to two young at a time. 3) Tauntauns were the primary prey of the wampas. Based on these statements, one can assume that we're potentially looking for an area with a dead tauntaun (such as the coordinates I've previously posted which are now part of the original post, thanks to Jenemi) or perhaps a wampa cave with a dead tauntaun inside. Furthermore, if tauntauns are able to give birth to two young, then this makes it all the more likely that those who posted mentioning having seen a dead tauntaun with a baby nearby (although no one has been able to confirm this in the way of coordinates) could perhaps lure out the second young. Hence, using the "jerky buff" at these locations could incite the second younger tauntaun to emerge, thus being able to be captured by the NVSCCS. However, someone else has suggested using the NVSCCS to capture an ice scrabbler to use as bait, so perhaps both methods are worth investigating, although at this time no one has been able to confirm a location to find an ice scrabbler. Nevertheless, capturing an ice scrabbler would render the "jerky buff" obsolete... so it seems we've arrived at another impasse. Well, this is unfortunately all the speculation I can offer at this time. Let's try and keep posting useful information, as well as get confirmation on the missing coordinates! Keep up the good work everyone. Happy hunting. DrossHoplite
  14. What's your in-game name? Because "Jenemi" does not exist.
  15. Hey Jenemi, you are also on Corellian Run. Add DrossHoplite to your friends list! we can search together.
