  1. I definitely feel more like the movie version of the CIA than a fed. I'm playing a light sided agent that still puts a bullet in the head of any terrorist who wont go peacefully to their LIFE OF ETERNAL TORTURE. After one kill I wont spoil, you say to your companion(who is a bit like "damn you have some ice in your veins") that 'terrorist don't go free.' I use assets until they are no longer useful, and then eliminate them to prevent loose ends. Or send them to be tortured. Anyone I do let live - because they are not a threat - are warned explicitly that if I ever come to regret my decision a bullet will find them shortly after they mess up. My agent is a patriot, willing to do what it takes to defend her empire from enemies from all strata - this includes sith. I liked the line on Dromund Kaas where Keeper tells you that you are not undercover here, use your station as a member of Imperial Intelligence when necessary to get your desired results, use the fear those words strike. The fact that everyone seems to know who I am is a bit annoying, but it's also proof that IA has its hands everywhere.
  2. I like the green saber for consular, blue for knight. Standard yes, but thats how i want it. It's star wars, not about being ultra unique.
  3. I have found most of the stories I've played so far to be engaging and enjoyable. The Sith Warrior I have played through to level 40 and greatly enjoyed Act 1, and the parts of Act 2 I have seen. The whole Janessa storyline was fantastic, and the ending of Act 1 has ROTJ written all over it. Act 2 revolves nicely around your master setting up BIG PLAYS on the galactic scale, you feel very much like the apprentice to a powerful master(like you should) and also begin to feel that perhaps you should step out on your own...The whole thing gives you the right level of Star Wars+dragonball z+something something dark side I would expect and desire from it. The Jedi Knight storyline is the polar opposite. Go here: save the galaxy. Go here: save the galaxy. It's good, and the Kira side story is great. You definitely feel like Obi Wan. Although sometimes being the good guy actually means FALLING FOR BLATANTLY OBVIOUS TRICKS AND DECEPTIONS. There were a few moments where I was pissed that the light side option basically meant "take this obviously lying cheating scumbag at his word. and close your eyes for 15 seconds. he promises he wont escape". Sith Inquisitor up through level 20something has been fun. Zash is neat, It's tough figuring out how I want to play him though. So far it's been dark side with a soft spot for slaves.
  4. i have bio on one of my characters, and yes it's completely 100% awesome and best. That said, i get way more personal satisfaction from the 'item' crafting specialties.
  5. See, I don't like everything he says, but things like that really do make me enjoy that droid.
  6. "The galaxy had better keep trembling at your approach if it knows what's good for it master. Maker knows I do" -awesome.
  7. The robes you get at level 12-14 from the Revanite questline look pretty kick *** imo. I'm intending to use them until something catches my eye.
  8. He's right though. Anni, Rage, and Carnage are all perfectly fine at what they do. The only problem the class actually has is too many buttons to push to get the job done.
  9. Then you are not meant for anything observational - because you are wrong.
  10. Honestly and despite what the forum outside this thread will tell you leveling as Carnage is pretty easy. There are a few spots where things get tough - generally when you are a level or two away from the next important skill point. Companion choices are really play style as well, just like spec. Once you get quinn, use him with what ever spec you like until you get to about 30. I used Janessa until I got Pierce. With Pierce almost every fight is easy. Get him close enough that he'll use his charge, let him tank everything, gore + kill kill kill all mobs. Send him home and resummon(takes 2 seconds total) and you wipe mobs(even elites) with no downtime - you never got hit. Anni is safer, Quinn is more forgiving, but you can really do it any way you like up until 40. That's where I'm at now, I'll let you know what the road to 50 brings. Also, rotate your defensive CD's. They are all awesome, but need to be used at the right time or you waste them. For instance if you obfuscate while blade ward is up. The class is a little funny in that if you don't pay attention you can quickly die to 4 regular mobs. If you do things right, a strong and 3 regulars is no problem. I've died a lot to not paying attention(bad habit from my jedi guardian). Also, take biochem. Mods are easy to come by through commendations and the market. Between PVP weapons, mods, and the occasional shopping spree making your own gear becomes stupid. I wish I had super stims and medpacks, instead of level 24 light saber hilts.
  11. I was going to make this thread last night. T7+Jedi=Save Galaxy. Best line so far: Enemy = Deleted \\ T7 = Got jedi's back! It's his pseudo text messaging style, coupled with his extreme enthusiasm
