  1. Do we know anything about Glee Anselm during the ingame present day? I know there was a time when the Anselmi surface dwellers had an empire on the lone contentinent, which eventually sank. Is this around that time? I want to start writing some background stories for my new Nautolan character for RP purposes but I haven’t found much about the state of things on Glee Anselm during this time period. Is it a member of the Republic even? Let’s use this thread to gather what we collectively know/speculate and maybe we can come to an RP consensus as a community.
  2. If SWTOR were to end, my hope is that BW/EA will throw the community a bone and give us the code so that we can find a crowd-sourced way to keep the game running. I'm sure there are enough of us "techy geeks" throughout the SWTOR community that could find ways to keep it going, at least in smaller, more localized formats, private servers, etc. I'd sure give it a try I realize it wouldn't be the same, but a server model more similar to MineCraft could work for this game if BW/EA decides to shut it down.
  3. Pound for pound, Innervate is one of the best tools we have in our arsenal. It's a big robust heal that also sets up our Force/Mana regen mechanics so it should be your go-to heal (assuming Roaming Mend is already on cooldown). Resurgence -> Recklessness -> Roaming Mend -> Innervate -> Consuming Darkness - this is a really great rotation to use whether you train it all on one target or spread the love around the group. The Recklessness help to guarantee a crit from the Innervate so that you can use Crushing Darkness to regen mana. Because Innervate is such a clutch tool, I'd say that the Legendary utility: Force Mobility is also a MUST HAVE. Being able to use Innervate while moving makes it one of the best heals in the game, in my opinion.
  4. I finally got to run it on Saturday and it worked. We spacebar-skipped the first initial cutscene but let the shuttle cutscreen play out and it worked. Hope that helps.
  5. I think another important step that we could take right now is to coordinate all of the largest communication lines to make a unified push for action in the community. We'd need all the people on the forums, and all the people on the SWTOR Reddit and the FB groups, Twitter, the major podcasts and YouTube Channels, etc. We'd also need a solid unified message. What are we asking for exactly? In my opinion, if they are going to stop making content and go into maintenance mode, they should give the community the tools to keep the game going and a way for us to DIY our own sharable content. That's what I would push for.
  6. We may want to have more details before going this route, but what about a Change.Org petition? If nothing else, it could really show that we are willing to go that extra mile to support the game we love. There have been a few done in the past that never really got much attention, but if it was coordinated with a strong social media push we could probably get some sign ups. This is a search of past SWTOR related Change.org petitions. Most of them are very niche and didn't go anywhere: https://www.change.org/search?q=SWTOR cc
  7. I left SWTOR and came back recently. The trailer for the upcoming WoW Expansion got me excited about MMORPGs again, so I went back to play some WoW. Upon doing so, I quickly remembered how much MORE I loved SWTOR as a game and that's what brought me back. I don't want to see this game end anytime soon. It's too good. Maybe a good way to keep the game moving forward even in "maintenance mode" is to give the players a way to do our own in-game content. Role-Play tools, build-your-own-Flashpoints, etc. Skimming these forums you'll find that the community has made lots of great suggestions of this type over the years and I think if BW put some time into making that possible it could give the game legs for a long time. I feel like that would keep me entertained. The ways that SWG and City of Heroes had functionality in the game that helped to foster player-created stuff could really serve as a good example.
  8. Agreed, if its not going to work, please removeit from the queue. Spacebar or no, it never seems to work
  9. Server Migration will be a great answer to many of the current population issues in-game. In looking through the forums, you can see many attempts being made on a grassroots level to keep the communities that currently exist on many servers together once the ability to transfer becomes available. Would BIOWARE consider giving the community some advance information on the transfer options that will be available? The more early info we have, the easier it will be for players to coordinate.
  10. I am extremely excited to see a Group Finder being added to SWTOR in 1.3. I would say of all the features I wish the game could have ASAP, that definitely tops my list. What else can you tell us about the specific implementation of this most welcome improvement? Will it combine players from different servers? Will it automatically teleport group members to the entrance when the group forms?
