  1. i follow your logic and i personally dont have a HUGE problem with it however that said you may have issues finding groups if you do it too often there are some things that should be a little more important then RP.... such as not being a dick to other players.... however your not going to jail for Ninja looting, so make your own choices.... fits with RP, but still not cool
  2. #1: Disagree - no comment #2: Disagree - The actual logistics of getting 4 players or even 2 players in one speeder controlled by one person, creates allot of issues that are not easy to fix. Not saying it shouldnt or wont ever happen however its just not practical to be asking for this when there are much bigger and better issues that BW could work on [EDIT]Forgot to add: i do think they could let your companions in/on speeders with you, since they are your companions this would be much more do-able then having other players in it with you and on a similar note.... why the "F" do you drive the taxis!? In every star wars (including The Old Republic) book i have ever read, taxis are controlled by a driver, be it organic or droid. So why do we sit in the drivers seat with an empty seat right next to us... why not have a droid in the driver seat and us in the passenger seat.... that realy pisses me off lol [End Edit] #3: Disagree - if you want to look the way u want, wear modable gear... if u want the best use the best #4: Agree - i love the idea of being able to change the color of your gear, a simle dye mechanic would be wonderful to have in this game. There are a few peices of gear i would love to use however they dont match my robe
  3. i dont think servers need merging however im 100% in for paid transfers, even if its not cheap sometimes its just not worth it to re-roll after u have sunk 100+ hours in a character but you shouldnt have to dread logging in due to server issues, or friend/guild issues please Bioware.... give us server transfers
  4. thats weird kuz i dont lag anyware i have been (havnt done ilum yet) with my single 550ti any chance its your connection or just the server your on?
  5. hey im not exactly one to scoff at overkill, however the question is if it would improve his gameplay... assuming he means SWTOR gameplay, then there is no need for that much power as less then half that power maxes out the game now if someone was to play BF3, or Skyrim all maxed out then maybe that overkill is worth it to have but for just SWTOR (as i assume OP is asking) dual 560ti's is practically throwing away $250-$350 that all said.... if its overkill your after, why not go dual 580's, or hell why not 3 of them
  6. i run 1 550TI and can run everything on high in 1920x1080 smooth as butter dont know why u would need 2 560ti's
  7. Just a suggestion... But I feel server transfers should be added to the game. By all means charge a fee for doing it. Many people i know have created characters on random servers and now are stuck away from their friends or guilds they wish to join. Myself for example was waiting to join a guild that did not officially form until just 3 or 4 days ago, and it formed on a server i was not playing on, now i can either substain from the guild or re-roll. I think server transfers could be a good thing and if they are for a fee it will keep the service in check as well as making extra money. ...Just a suggestion
  8. the point is sticking with your crew skill long term, not just getting it to 400, making the good items, then picking up a different skill i think in the future all crafting skills will have items they can make that you need that class to use, until then... if you want to use the re-usable meds and stims, just pick up biochem
  9. just thought i would update here since i just finished ordering all my new parts went from a $500 budget, to spending roughly $875 with taxes and shipping all new Mobo: Boxdp67bgb3 CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K GPU: Geforce Gtx550 Ti Ram: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W plus i bought a Razer Lycosa at the same time, to go along with my Naga and Razer SWTOR headset that i already have. so in a week or so once it all gets here i should be having fun lol
  10. i too would like server transfers, however i dont think they should be free id be fine with paying a few bucks to bring my main to a different server, rather then having to re-roll to play with a guild that formed on a different server then i did
  11. im no expert however i did about 2 days of looking into it lol ur processor is really good and will handel the GTX550ti well atleast i hope so as i just bought the 2 at the same time im not sure on the power consumption though, you may want to check if your PSU will handel it, i just bought a 650watt and was told as long as im not using 2 powerful video cards and lots of extra junk then ill never even need that much
  12. ordered an intel core i5 2500K, a Geforce Gtx550 Ti, 8GB of ram (will be an up from 4) and a new PSU then this summer will be a SSD, and a razer keyboard to go with my Naga mouse and SWOTR razer headset
  13. Any tips before I buy parts in the next hour or so?
  14. ok so i dont know a ton about computer hardware i know im running an intel core i3 550 and an ATI radeon 5450 all in a cheap prebuilt machine from over a year ago when i inquired about upgrading in my own thread here i was told to upgrade to a intel core i5 650 and a Geforce Gtx550 now i understand the GPU upgrade, however i did some looking into comparing the i3 550 and the i5 650 and they look nearly identical is it worth the $200 to upgrade the PCU or should i put that into a better GPU and maybe come ram, and a new razer keyboard? Now i am ONLY looking to play SWTOR on MAX settings in every possible way. i doubt i will be playing other games on here, and if i do want to in the future ill upgrade again or buy a whole new rig any suggesting on getting the most out of this game?
  15. i installed SWTOR on my wifes laptop nearly the exact same HP laptop (if not identical) then set the game to the lowest setting possible on the lowest resolution game still ran like crap used it from time to time to manage crew skills was unplayable when trying to quest
