    That's funny.
  1. Alright, thanks for all of the help guys. I was worried I was going to have to pull an all nighter and power a JK through his story.
  2. As the title says, I have a few questions regarding the legend status. The only thing in writing I have found regarding it was from the Dulfy notes from the live stream they did about the KoTFE changes. "Legendary status, you get a cool icon ingame next to your name You have to finish all 8 class stories, level doesn’t matter." I also had a friend tell me that you need to have all of the classes done by the time the expansion hits. So I have two quick questions. Is that true? Do they need to be completed by release day? If that is true, does this mean by early access kotfe, or actual launch day? Thanks for any help. (Yes I have been playing all of these years, and still have not finished all of the stories.)
  3. I like this idea. There really isn't a downside to it, and it opens up a lot of options for different players. Those saying that Bioware would lose money, no, not even close. In fact, if they did it similar to Wildstar, they would be making more money. A month of subscription costs about $15 right now. If Bioware were to charge $20 (wildstar) for the one month token or whatever it would be, they would be making an extra $5 on the subscription. If a player were to buy said Token from another player, the buyer wouldn't be giving Bioware his $15, instead the one he is buying from would have given Bioware $20, so that he could sell the token. Bioware would not lose any money, in order to sell the tokens, they have to be bought first, at a price higher then the base subscription. For the guy saying they should set the price (the credits cost), no. If they try to sell it at 50 million credits, chances are, no one will buy it. They will need to adjust the price to where they can actually sell. They aren't going to spend $20 and purposely not allow themselves to make credits. The other concern, this would be like selling credits, well, that essentially already exists. Just buy some CM items and throw them on the GTN. This would be no different. (I say all of this as someone who has not spent more then $20 total on the CM, so I would never use these tokens, and will never have enough credits to afford the subs if they were put in)
  4. Steve Blum has also showed his support, and I would definitely consider him a big name.
  5. So, I'm going to stay neutral on this for now, still looking into all of the facts and all that, but has Troy Baker voiced his opinion on this matter yet? I haven't seen anything, but I also haven't really looked that hard.
  6. Myself and a friend were playing through Makeb together, I was on my male shadow and he was on his female Consular (you can add pretty much all these guys lines to the Worst Lines In Game), and I don't remember it word for word, but one his/her response was along the lines of "no one is truely alone if they have someone willing to fight for them". We both logged off after that, and I deleted my level 30 female sage. That was truely the worst thing I have ever seen or heard in this game.
  7. This is a good question. I won't be ab;e to give a general answer, as it will vary depending on which of my characters we are talking about, so I will be answering on a character by character basis. Though, I wont be doing it for all of them, that would take forever, just the ones where I have actually put thought into them. Powertech Male (all about honor and crap) HK-51 (Personal story reasons) Qyzen Fess (Well, duh) Akaavi Spar (see above) Torian (see above) I have no idea for the fifth... Scoundrel Male (Light Sided, all about them credits and getting it on with the ladies) Risha (One of my favorites, absolutely hilarious, and fulfills the last part of my guys description) Nico Okarr (Should be easy to figure out why) Guss Tuno (I love this guy, probably my favorite, the two work well together) Gault (Another personal favorite, I think the dialogue between everyone would be hilarious) Vette (Another one who I think would be pretty funny to see, also, what Risha doesn't know wont hurt her) Juggernaut Male (Pure Darkside, only cares about death and destruction, not very bright) DS Jaesa Willsaam HK-51 Khem Xalek Scourge Female Juggernaut (Basically Bioware loved this girl so much they made a clone of her named Lana) Lana (her clone) Pierce Xalek Temple Marr (Favorite Sith) Vanguard Male (Darkside, based off of Sgt. Barnes from Platoon, hates the Empire with a passion) Aric Jorgen (It's fun watching my guy pick on him) M1-4X (Soulmates) Zennith (These two would be perfect together) Rusk (Another Trooper like guy) HK-51 (Duh) Mercenary Male (Darkside, only cares about credits and himself) Skadge (I love this guy, and these two get along great. They be homies) Gault Andronikos (Seems like a good match up) Kaliyo (Would be fun) Blizz (Because why not)
  8. So much hate for Skadge, I really like the guy. Anyways, the only companions I would be really interested in killing would be: Mako (I have hated her since my first time playing the game) Quinn (obvious reasons) Corso (Just can't stand the guy)
  9. I didn't even realize who I was responding to, welcome back Andryah!
  10. Could be referencing this guy, at least, that's what I got from it.
  11. I think my time has come. After a short break, I re subbed, and have played a total of three days in that month. I'm just burned out. I look at my characters, and I don't want to hit play on any of them. The game is also just kind of giving a "down" feeling. The quality, and quantity as of late has been pretty lackluster. I don't think anything Bioware can, or will do that will really be that exciting for me. My taste in games has also changed. I'm much more into the linear story based single player games now. Endless grinding and farming just does not sound fun to me. I also have a very large list of games I want to play. I'll probably come back once the Togruta release, I think that might be enough incentive to power through one of the two remaining class stories. But until then, I just don't see myself playing anymore. Good luck though, I have had a very fun three years with this game. It will always be pretty special to me, as it got me into PC gaming, and introduced me to MMO's. May the force be with you all.
  12. I have very little, scratch that, no faith in Dice. They have shown time and time again that are not good at making a fun game. It's sad when the best game in their series is being made by a different developer. Naturally, this is all my opinion. I feel like their games take themselves WAY too seriously. Hardline is much more laid back, and I can actually have fun with it (I spent more time on the E3 beta then I have in both BF3 and BF4 combined). The same can't be said about other BF games. And that's what worries me about them making this game. The Battlefront games are very laid back, they are more arcade like, and are just fun. They don't take themselves too seriously, and are just fun games to play. I feel like Dice is going to Dice up the series, and turn into something it's not. They already are changing it from third person to first person, what else are the going to do? There is already talk about "aggressive dlc" before any game play has shown up. Look at the BF games, if they are any indication of what they will be doing with DLC, and chances are, they are, we are going to end up having to spend almost, if not more, on just the DLC then on the game. Another thing that has me concerned, is the chances of keeping some classic, core elements of Battlefront. At this point, the chances of split screen are probably zero. For some, this is going to be a huge letdown. I also fear that there wont be any bot matches. There's nothing to back this up, just wild speculation, and looking at Dice's history. Like I said, I have no faith in this game. I think it's going to end up as a crappy Battlefield re-skin, with a broken launch, and way too much emphasis on DLC. I hope I am wrong though. I really want this game to be amazing. We have been waiting for Battlefront sequel for what, 10 years? I just don't think it will deliver.
  13. I disagree. I found the Smuggler story to be my favorite.
