  1. Bring back Server Tags for RP Servers at the very least, in its current state RP servers are being dumbed down with new players not knowing which server to join for their tastes and its damaging the community as a whole.
  2. I strongly disagree with this point, we do need server tags, i understand that there is now instances between PVE and PVP, however it can still be useful for people who may prefer PVP content to be able to go to the server that will be more common for it. Although due to the instances I would find it quite reasonable to merge the 2 PVE and PVP servers together now. HOWEVER for RP servers they certainly do require the tags to keep it a RP server, because now you'll have people joining that server unaware that it is made for RP, creating random names, and bunny hopping everywhere and creating guilds that have nothing to do with RP at all, and diluting the server designed for RP completely, which ruins it for all the RPers that have been around for years creating their characters there and paying money into the game which would eventually make some RP'ers leave if it hasn't already. Now also let me say i'm not telling people NOT to join RP servers if they are not going to RP at all, they are not forced to RP, some people just like to be immersed in the world of others RP'ing around them which is just fine, but when you join an RP server, expecting RP and then later on down the road see so many guilds being advertised for PVE/PVP based guilds, you realise that they have no clue as to what kind of server they are on, and that is a problem.
  3. Soooo....Still no option to toggle hood on/off huh? I gotta say this is a feature that has been requested for so long, by so many people and since its already practically in place considering if you wear a helmet it lowers/removes the hood right? so why not just give us a toggle to do the same thing without the use of a helmet?
  4. Had a quick scan through that video, but thats pretty bad on the population right there...thats the thing for both points, one the fact someone may start a character, get quite abit into it before realising that the population is low everywhere on that server and having to A) Transfer at a cost or B) Make a new character. Same can go for the Server Tags, people may choose a server, thinking it doesn't really matter too much past the language and whether they like the name of the server, to only find out later on that there is a better choice for their style of play.
  5. Would be great if they could bring back the Server Tags for them atleast, PVP, PVE and RP tags on the server were great to get the population to go to the right place, now I see people having to ask where to go for these things, at the very least having RP servers marked to not dilute them.
  6. I would hate for that too happen, I'm from the UK and would actually like to have an English Server myself instead of having to go to a US server.
  7. Personally i would say the closest to that for EU would be The Progenitor, it used to be alot better because they had actual Tags on the servers describing what server type fit which playstyle, PVE, PVP and RP, RP-PVP but these are now removed...personally I think they should of kept these tags so people could see the option for their style.
  8. So...have they removed Cover as a mechanic completely now if so, why? Just came back after a few months away and I can't appear to select the skill or even use the keybinding anymore, it does nothing as the Operative.
  9. Yeah you're exactly right, I really REALLY hope they do listen to posts where this is a subject matter and implement this back in, it does concern me to see RP servers being more and more diluted, as for me it was a very immersive experience to be apart of, and like you said even for players who wanted to witness the RP around them but maybe not even participate, it is still even then an immersive experience to be surrounded by. Just of course the only reason they would bother i'd imagine is for more likeminded people to voice their opinions here or on any other post where the subject matter is the same, which hopefully takes place
  10. I actually have no problem with a 30 day absence leading to removal of the Guild Leader and passed down to next active high ranking member. Used to even happen to me on an MMO called Fallen Earth when I lead a clan there for a few years, lost my lead a couple times in my absence but I would usually get it back up until the very end of the games lifespan...atleast for me. I find this to be quite a reasonable process to keep clans/guilds alive and kicking, what I do have a problem with however is when its restricted behind a paywall such as having to be a subscriber to keep hold of your leader status despite how much of your own work you may have put into it. Which of course I see as quite a big concern to be in place to be honest, because that one day you may not be a subscriber, you all of a sudden lose your lead until you subscribe again and get lead back from the member who received it and hopefully hasn't power tripped. Like i mentioned in my example above where the leader passed the guild down to me, but that same day my subscription came to an end so when I logged in unawares of what had happened at the time with the guild, it was then passed onto the next high ranking member below me and everything went downhill from there for the guild, so for this I just feel is simply wrong.
  11. Yeah I realised that with the instance thing pure PVP servers and pure PVE servers aren't really required anymore, would still be helpful in my eyes to draw players of a certain playthrough to that server but not as needed now I guess. Would be happy enough though with RP servers being stated at least, because they do add quite a big change to the way people play inside that server as a whole and of course attracts the right people to one place.
  12. I know it's been awhile since this post has been commented on, but I've come back to this game a few times and have noticed that the server browser has stayed simplified...I don't fully see the reasoning for this being removed to begin with as I stated before, this would help the community to be able to fit into the play style they would prefer, and save confusion for others when they get set up in a server to find out later on there are better choices for them. The server i play on currently for example is an RP server, and now in this turn of me coming back, I've actually started to notice guilds being created that have nothing to do with RP whatsoever, this seems quite damaging to the server types overall and is limiting the unique qualities of each server. Basically just re-bumping this to see if anyone else feels the same way about it as I do.
  13. I'm pretty sure they also come back as soon as you start a conversation with anyone also, so this could also mean after a conversation that leads to a fight, they will turn back up again, and I don't believe you can dismiss them when this occurs neither until after the fight. I could be wrong about that last statement as I've only recently started playing again, but it's still a small change that would be nice to add overall.
  14. I just want to throw my two cents in here, and say that I completely agree with you that you should not have your guild that you have spent alot of hours and money into getting it up and running just to have it taken by someone because you may have briefly not paid for a sub or anything of the sort, I know in your situation it may have been a bit longer, but i have literally experienced a situation where i didn't subscribe for a day and this was the same day the leader left and passed down the lead to me as second in command, within that time it got passed down to someone beneath me, who wasn't trustworthy of course and kicked people out and sold it. I think that personally, this is quite a shameful thing to take place, SURE you can make points on how you should not let people in who you cannot trust, problem is with this is that there are too many variables that can go wrong with this, such as trusting the wrong person who seems nice enough and BOOM first chance they get screw you over. I agree that if you are gone for about a month or so, then it is acceptable to be passed on to the next HIGHEST ranking officer, not just the next high ranking with a subscription, as I find that abit of a money grab to me to ensure people keep paying into the game. I'm also rather surprised at how many people seem to be perfectly okay with defending this kind of practice aswell.
  15. definitely up for more variety to choose from in the strongholds
