  1. Really? Because it's the same darn armor. Why go through all the trouble of creating a different model for cross-faction? It doesn't make any sense. Considering that the designers of the actual armor didn't say to themselves-"Lets make this piece of head gear -call it the same thing but make it look completely different when a pub or imp wears it." Yes , makes perfect sense. I am sorry, maybe others have a better understanding of this "feature" and hopefully the reasoning behind it can be explained to me.
  2. I have been subbed now since go live. I have 3 lvl 50 toons all in columi/battlemaster gear. Played WoW and SWG when they launched, hell I even played EQ for nearly 5 years. I like to think I have a decent grasp on what makes an MMO great. TOR is almost there. I can see that they are taking the steps to make it great. However, I feel that perhaps some things are just coming too slowly or they just don't want to make the effort to stray from their vision of what they want the game to be. If the latter is correct, they need to remember that so far that vision hasn't been completely successfull. Here is a list of what I THINK Bioware needs to bring to the game to make it both fun and immersive for everyone. These are in no particular order: Gambling: Nar Shadda has multiple casinos and cantinas. Use them - everytime I have gone into one to run a quest, they are empty. And I am not exagerrating - they are seriously empty, even after the server consilidation. Put some interactive gambling stations/pazaak tables where players can interact with each other and npc's to win/lose in-game credits. Players will come out of the wood work just for that experience. Serisouly, they would. Imagine, casinos and cantina swarming with players, make the gambling tokens exclusive to the Cartel Coin vendors. Lordy would you guys make money. You would need to have a wookie bouncer at the door... Guild Capital Ships/Guild Base/Guild Rewards System: This is a big one with guilded players. Other MMO's have done it quite easily and considering that other games using the Heroes engine included guild bases without issue means that you guys shouldn't have too much of a problem doing it either. This will go along way to cementing your relationships with the guilds that play and drive your game - the raiders. These guys are hardcore and are subcribers, and they should be rewarded for it. Atleast with this. Include a guild reward system like WoW has. Which honestly is pretty innovative, but not impossible to immitate. World PvP: Illum is stagnant - as is Tatooine. Revamping those areas and adding a few more to other world's would really revitalize the PvP for this game. 1v1, 2v2 ranked arenas would also be a big plus and make the pvp'ers pee their pants in excitement. Do this. It would not fail if done right. Improved Group Finder: This thing needs so much tweaking its not even funny. Half the time it doesn't pop for some players at all. There needs to be more flexibility with the LFG Tool. Just in general, make the darn thing work ok? Sand-Box PvP Space Combat: This is the kicker. Can it be done? I don't see why not. It's instanced, and we all know that multiple players can fill the same instance, ala Warzones. This would be epic. Seriously this would add so much emersion to the game and players would love this. I will add more to this as we progress towards F2P. Which also, I believe will only make this game better if handled correctly. What do you guys/gals think? Please reply with your thoughts, I would love to read them and who knows maybe we can get some devs in here too.
  3. I am curious. Since the 1.4 patch went live, my artifice has really taken a beating on the market. There just isnt anyone interested in buying hilts, enchancements and offhands that top out at level 49. And on the rare ocassion that I get a lvl 50+ schematic its not worth making it to put it up because there are BOE mods pulled from end game shells that sell for ourageous prices. Does BioWare know what it is doing? What purpose does it serve to not have schematics available for higher level modifications? Sorry, I don't post often but this really annoyed me.
  4. They can in the lore. Be it movies or television or even the novel series. Yet here in this game they cannot. Is it a balancing issue? Because if it is, I'm not buying it. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
  5. You obviously dont hang around the star wars community very much. Lucas has stated explicitly in various sources that Luke is the Most Powerful Force User Ever. More powerful than - Anakin, Yoda, Sidious, Windu, etc., etc. Read up before you make completely untrue comments. Thanks!
