  1. Looks like the housing is for your legacy and not just one character. Live on Multiple Planets Choose a prestigious apartment in the heart of your faction’s capital world, or live in style among the high-rollers of Nar Shaddaa or both – your Legacy can own multiple Strongholds!
  2. Found this little tidbit from : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Jedi Despite the fact that both groups called upon the dark side of the Force, Dark Jedi were not the same as the Sith, though the first group of the Dark Jedi were the predecessors of the Dark Lords in the ancient Sith Empire. The term Dark Jedi was a collective and vague name of dark side practitioners (be they fallen or rogue Jedi) that used Force powers and a lightsaber, but were not always members of a certain organization; whereas the term Sith refers to a definite heritage or ideology. Some Dark Jedi were allied to the Sith or other organizations, while others were loners. Because they were notoriously dangerous, unstable, and treacherous, Dark Jedi seldom formed well-organized groups on their own in order to expand their following or reinforce their strength. One notable exception to this was the Miraluka Dark Jedi Jerec and his retinue of minions. Dark Jedi could also use their power for personal gain, becoming mercenaries or assassins. The Sith, however, was an order that followed their code and studied their history, studied their own skills and techniques, and possessed secrets like Sith alchemy and Midi-chlorian manipulation. Furthermore, after the Rule of Two was established, the Order of the Sith Lords was limited to only two members, a master and an apprentice, whereas the Dark Jedi had no organization and no such limitations. The Sith would often seduce Dark Jedi to work for them, without really granting them any knowledge of Sith techniques. Yet most Dark Jedi were willing to serve the Sith, and saw it as a way to further their knowledge of the Force. Like the Sith, they usually used lightsabers with red blades, but were also known to use a wide variety of saber colors. Many dark side practitioners, such as Count Dooku, considered the power of a Dark Jedi to be nothing compared to the power of the Sith. Other individuals, like Darth Vader, practiced both Dark Jedi and Sith techniques. According to Dooku, a prime difference between Dark Jedi and Sith is that the Sith "lack fear".
  3. I think the new pack is pretty awesome. The fact that there is GS stuff, makes it unique to the previous packs and there is actually some bad *** looking sets of armor imho. The fact that they added black dye to the pack makes it very nice indeed. Here are some of the cool things I got in a hyper-crate: Imperial’s White Engine Reactant Color Module K-52 Demolisher Skin Interstellar Regulator’s Blaster Rifle Aurek Battleworn Triumvirate Armor Set Jori Daragon’s Armor Set Mountain Explorer Armor Set 3 x Dejarik Emote Crying Emote Blizz Customization 6 2 x Primary Black Dye Module Rep Items (20k worth) Sometimes gambling can pay, but most of times it does not. Good Luck!
  4. http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20131203 In February for our full Launch, we add a new role (the Bomber) plus 10 more Starfighters for a grand total of 24 ships to customize and take into battle. Add to that an incredible new dynamic Flashpoint that is level and role neutral called Kuat Driveyards which ties our ground game story directly into the space PvP action with a new Starfighter area on the fleet and you begin to see that full scope of what we’re delivering. Taking it one step beyond, we have already laid out significant plans for Space PvP to support it far into the future, so there will be regular releases of content to keep our Starfighters happy for a good long time to come. As with everything in our game, we will be listening raptly on all available channels for YOUR input to shape what Starfighter becomes as it evolves. Thank you for your ongoing support. It means the world to us.
  5. Ship Req = Used to buy upgrades for your ship Fleet Req = Used to buy upgrades for your ship, buy new ships, buy new crew, buy customization CC = Cartel Coins, used to convert Ship Req to Fleet Req. If you do the daily and weekly, all your ships will earn Ship Req. You can use CC to convert the Ship Req on your unused ships to Fleet Req. Two methods of progression: One Good Ship: 1) You can use the Fleet Req to upgrade your favorite ship faster. Well Rounded Fleet: 2) You can use the Ship Req to upgrade each ship and not convert to Fleet Req at all. It all depends on your game play, if you prefer to switch between your ships during a battle, then option 2, if you are a one ship guy, then option 1.
  6. **secret friends list** **people i stalk list** **people i might ask to group up with list**
  7. If they added all of that I think commandos would be overpowered LOL, but great ideas, hopefully they use a few of them!! definetly trauma probe on multiple targets is a must for commando healer, and some sort of guaranteed 100% crit ability for charged bolts would be nice, then maybe people would use our 'assault cannon class ability'......
  8. LOL all QQ about tanks, too bad SWTOR guard is not like DAOC bodyguard, then you would all really cry a river of blood Dark Age of Camelot Master Level abilities - Bodyguard: Ability that protects a group mate from enemy melee attack. Target of Bodyguard can't be attacked by melee until the bodyguard is killed or moves out of range. Target of Bodyguard must not be moving. Tank literally just stands there while you cannot attack the healer/caster and they proceed to nuke you to death...
  9. easy fix, make stealth not work once gas starts as for season 1 with actual web ratings to brag your epeen... Excellent (mr burns accent)
  10. Will you play with a OPed / Cookie-Cutter class / group make-up, or will you be one of those who breaks the mold? Commando Combat Medic will be my first to hit the arenas. How bout you?
  11. I got one response to everyone complaining about this latest implied travesty Can I have your stuff?
  12. So what we really need is a under 30% finisher move to fix assault? We have burnout which increases our damage on periodic damage on target under 30% but maybe that could be boosted or give a boost to a burst damage ability too Your right this is not going to fix the class, I was simply putting all new commando changes in one place to discuss, they better be adding more!
  13. the last part posted on PTS 5 days ago, that is not old news I would say its a step in the right direction and also that they are fine tuning us shows they are listening to the community and could mean more changes for the better in the future. I know assault specialist needed more damage mitigation since gunnery got the proc for med probe, and this change to degauss will help just that. Adrenaline rush has been poorly designed for the trooper since the get go and this change should make it more useful for the trooper class as a whole.
  14. Personally I would save your comms for the pvp patch in October as the Partisan pvp gear will be obsolete and new pvp gear will be out and conqueror gear will be easier to get. For now I would get at least lv 58 pve mods in all your gear, if you can get some lv 69 pve mods to swap those out with then you can, but lv 58 mods bolster your expertise to max in warzones. Also bolster does not take into account Augments, so make sure to get all pieces of gear augmented with mk-9 and then get blue lv 55 augments, purple if you can afford them. This will increase your stats for pvp with no penalty. If you have not pvp'd in some time, then I would suggest trying lv 1-30 pvp to get readjusted and then work your way back to lv 55 pvp as it is a dog eat dog world. There is also lv 30-54 pvp if you have any chars in that range which is good practice as well. The reason I say do not just jump right into lv 55 pvp, is not the gear, but knowing the objectives and being well tuned to your abilities to complete those objectives, and other lv 55 are not as forgiving if you fail at either of those. As for accuracy you will want at least 95%, if you are a medic then drop all accuracy. Welcome back and if you are ever on the Jung Ma server drop me a line Jyx - Commando Ronin Elite
  15. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=671978 - Source 8/20/13 Trooper General Reduced the cost of Pulse Cannon to 24 energy cells (down from 25) and slightly reduced the damage it deals. Commando Assault Specialist Increased Assault Plastique explosion damage, but reduced the damage it deals over time. Reduced the cost of Incendiary Round to 16 energy cells (down from 22) and slightly reduced the damage it deals. 8/30/13 Trooper General Adrenaline Rush now triggers at 35% health and may heal up to 35% of max health (both up from 30%). Commando Assault Specialist Degauss has been redesigned: Activating Diversion increases your defense chance by 12.5/25% for 6 seconds. YAY! Keep em comin'
