  1. Yeah, the BH storyline is more or less "WHY DO I LET THESE WEIRDOS STAY ON MY SHIP?!" Like, geez, just give me Mako to be my space waifu, and give me HK-51 to be my backup.
  2. Can I get a source on artus of clan lok?! I was under the impression that it was Commander Fett.
  3. I'm definitely up to sell my vorantikus from this pack. If anyone has an offer PM me =)
  4. Admittedly I was super sad when TCW was canceled. They had really found their groove, and weren't afraid to slice off arms, heads, or even explore more adult themes like the 66-conspiracy, and terrorism. You can also go watch the last (semi-developed) arc on starwars.com. It's REALLy well written, even if they didn't get around to finishing the graphics. Try to keep in mind, that teh first season of TCW WAS very childish. They weren't sure if the show was only going to be viewed by 8 year olds. Instead, they found out that people will enjoy it, ages 7-47. I think that the new season has the potential to be JUST as adult, but ultimately it is STILL to the story of Ezra Bridger - a 13 year old who is beginning his training. It's BOUND to have some young-adult vibes for the first season because it's still a coming-of-age story. Also, regarding the storm-troopers, I'm reasonably certain that the clones of TCW like rex, tup, 5s, and cody were all battle-hardened commandos who'd seen a lot of bloodshed. The stormtroopers of this age are more like a bunch of recruits/conscripts who have spent more time polishing boots and acting like riot-police than destroying seperatists.
  5. I had this issue recently. i was suggested by the forums to delete the file named 'bitraider' and re-patch it. worked like a charm.
  6. Is it so hard to believe that he married Leia? I know that the EU stories have been scrapped, but they only survived blowing up 2 death stars, carbonite, and a civil war together....
  7. Yeah I had a very canon revan during my first playthrough. 1: Mullet man 2: Grabbed all my companions. 3: mostly light side. All the MAJOR LS decisions 4: Tattooine, manaan, kashyyk....korriban last after I had the 'reveal' 5: kinda saw that reveal from a mile away, but whatever. 6: purple lightsaber the second I found one. 7: Played wizard class - it was hard. 8: romanced bastila 9: Basiaclly did everything with HK47
  8. I'm typically against the whole "pretentions latin names" thing, but for empire characters I'm guilty. All of my characters are named after roman gladiator classes. Retiarius - net fighter (my bountyhunter) Rudiarius - free gladiator (my sorc) Samnite - large shield fighter (my jugg) Toxotes - Archer
  9. I'm replaying KOTOR 1 on my iphone (because, ya know, the future), and I'm still impressed with how much fun it is 10 years later. Mass fear, choke, lightning are all incredibly fun to use. Story is still solid, and the background of the various companions adds a depth to the game that feels much better paced than SWTOR. I was AWFUL with teh sequel when I played it. I did as many quests as I could, I played with kreia, played 3-4 runs as different LS/DS concepts, but for some reason I never seemed to get half of the special conversations with my companions! Apparently some of them were also jedis? I never had it for PC but I might consider going thru it again with some of the DLC/patched up content that the internets have helped flesh it out with.
  10. He's machine now than man. Twisted and evil...
  11. Wait - What?! You mean I can suit up to 2018 with basic comms?
  12. While you'll find plenty of BHs wearing duster/trenchcoats (think spike from cow-boy bebop), IMO the character only looks great until it's in combat. Jet boots and a vest? Kinda silly lookin to me... I have a tough time because I prefer to have armor with a jet-pack. Makes the animation "feel" right.
  13. Merc all the way. My first char was a Ptech - and while PTs can annoy the hell out of me in a warzone, I feel that the merc class can be one of the most deadly classes when used properly. I've played healer classes for about 10 years (since starwars galaxies), and a good healer can turn the tide of a game. You will essentially become ranged support (just take a look at the commando counterpart) - but guess what? It's a war-zone. If you aren't cooperating with your teammates you're screwed anyway. Whether you find yourself shoulder-to-shoulder with a sniper, jugg, or even another Ptech (which is hella scary by the way), you'll have the heals, dps, CC and all the tools you need to make a vicious team, which is what PvP is all about. Downside? You've pretty much got the "kick me" sign during 4v4s.
  14. Quesh - it was short enough to hold my interest, and it really felt like a war-zone. Taris - Hated it in SWTOR as much as KOTOR. felt like philadelphia. =(
