  1. Who cares about the US? I t goes like this...you pay we play
  2. Can you pls state your stats and gear at the time of the video? Im in 80% champion 20% Centurion and I have a hard time geting the 5k medal (only when I pop adren) and I see you poping 6,4k. Do you mix rakata with PvP gear after 500 expertise or do you go the full length? Tks
  3. Guardians tanks are far from useless. Voidstar is an easy medal grind. We can mass taunt, single taunt, use guard and get the protection medals. As for DPS, we make the 75k medal easily, the 2.5k hit, the 10 kills and the killing blow. I usually get 8-11 medals here and if I have a healer...immortal. Huttball, for medals is not the best but we are by far the best huttball carriers in the game, since we can leap to friends and enemies, we have up to 5 defensive CDs and we can stun lock on the move + push. Alderan Civil war, we are far from defenders, we are skilled attackers, since we stun, mass taunt, AoE sweep, etc. 6-9 medals here easily. Guardian Focus DPS Here we can keep taunting hence wining protection medals, but we start getting new medals like 300k dps, 5k single hit. Just try Use PvP Expertise adren-> exhaustion->Leap (zealous or force)->Sweep with 3+ enemies around...u get 5-7k depending on Ur gear and others gear on all of them! All in all...all classes could use some tweaks and sure Guardian could use some, but we are far from broken.
  4. Even though the gear is pre-assigned in normal mode, we can make arrangements to boost PuGs by charging PRE raid a fee...say 250k-500k for a full EV run. We can boost around 8 people, making a nice profit for the other 8 for 2 hours effort.
  5. I had bag slots and no companion mail unfortunatelly Oh yes and still no answer from support!
  6. Good point about the loot on normal modes. As to paying, in wow players first payed the gold to the RL and only then the ML assigned the loot. At the end the ML would divide everything among the raiders.
  7. Hi, Three of my Synthweaving overnight crafts just... disappear and so do the mats! 1st was my rakata belt for whitch I opened a ticket...8 days ago and still no answer so I crafted another one. Now two days ago, I crafted a BoE item for a friend overnight with Self-Perpetuating Power Cell again it vanished along with the mats. Anyone experienced this?
  8. As for 1 on 1, Aforgomon got it right...until you get some pvp expertise gear. After that, fights tend to be a little more matched, although we need to play our best and have all CDs ready or else... As for warzones, we definitely have a major role in them. Civil War - Our role is great in defense of a turret, given we can last long with our 3m CDs and stuns, time enough to call back ups that eventually will hold them until we arrive. Medals will come from protection, but also from DPS. it's not unusual to have 100k or more. Huttball - Here our role is ball carrier, we make great scorers since we can either leap to friends and enemy. Our stun is great and our knock back even better. When we are knockbacked away from goal, 1 fast leap will always put us there. Medals here will depend on wither you score a lot or not, because if you choose to go for protection points and damage, scoring will be out of question since it's basicly avoiding damage. Voidstar - Here we are the stars, specially on defense. Taunts, AoE, Stuns, Guardian, leaps...you can use it all. I tend to get around 7-9 medals here doing around 150k dps and a lot of protection points up to 100k. My build is full PvE since I only do PvP before and after raids. Hope it helps. PS: Taunts, Guardian and Blade storm are our major medal winners.
  9. Hi, Since our server is a low populated one on republic side and my guild is one of the few that raids, we were thinking of implementing the same we had on wow, gold runs, or in this case credit runs. In this runs all the items are auctioned and in the end the credits are divided by equal among all the guild members that "boosted" the pugs. I would like to know what's Bioware position on this matter, because we don't want to violate the rules and risk bans, but the EULA is not very clear about this matter. Thanks
  10. I understand and aprove the need to avoid comparisons with wow, but the truth is that a high % of swtor players are or were wow players. This being said, you have a truly hard mission, because despite our understanding to launch bugs (even some bad ones), there are some things that an mmo player cannot and will not forgive, and that's not being able to play the content for which he payed. Besides this, you have a small margin of time. Speaking for me, I won't wait more then 1 month for a system that allows me to effectively play the content I pay for. The system today is bad, adding role information will not make it better, only an automated system like the one in warzones (inter-server or not), will make things ok. I'll give you an example, how many players are willing to loose a good half hour completing the quest where you need to connect a power grid on an area full of fast re-spawning mobs? This kind of quests makes me and a lot of players love the game more, but only if I can enjoy them. The fact is that when I don't play with friends, I can't complete flashpoints or heroics. LFG for Heroic 2+ and 4+ on my full server almost never results in a group, even after spamming people and flashpoints...well it makes no sense being idle in the fleet waiting for something that probably won't happen...a group! I know you have a lot to do, and I know you have little time, but it's the player base you can retain in this first few months that will make this game a success or...another game to play while waiting for the next wow expansion.
  11. In my humble opinion those who are afraid of mods/parsers are the people that have been bullyed all their MMO life because the are poor players. Can you do end content in MMO without mods? probably yes but you would have to be Korean!
