  1. Thanks for the info guys, one more thing: How do you "activate" the 10 stacks? Do you have to "click and consume" each and everyone of the 10 dreadful essences when he's in proximity? or?
  2. Hey guys, Considering the currently available gear ratings, lets say min-maxed on Underworld gear with bits of dread forged on, what kind of comp and what numbers would you need to kill DT at 10 stacks? Im fairly sure you don't need 24 people anymore. Can he be 16 manned? If so are 4 healers enough? Cheers
  3. We are now currently looking for 1 tank, and a couple of DPS for our 2nd squad OPs team. Raiding times are usually at around 8pm GMT (british time). Raiding days are however flexible based on availabilities of 2nd squad members, in other words, you guys in the 2nd squad organize your raiding time. Mentality is the most important aspect of the members we're looking for: Punctual if signed up for the OPs, mature, fun and achievement oriented (TS required as usual). Gear is of no issue as we can take care of that. Ideally someone who loves to lead, and is good at it Experience is also not an issue, as you gain that by playing. We are however still and always recruiting social players of all levels and all classes.. and if interested can later be part of our OPs teams You may contact the same people mentioned in first thread or message us on here so we can whisper you! See you in game
  4. Thanks again for another guide. The real issue is that we do not have enough guides and (mostly) every guild has his own issues regarding certain bosses. Therefore it's always good to get insight from certain mechanics and how its handled from another guild... the more guides the better
  5. A 30second exclusive CC button for the sentinel/marauder?? Then I demand for my sorc a 30 second Force Barrier bubble that isn't static, with its CD refreshed everytime I get an assist.
  6. Depends. If you want to tank your way to 55 then have the relevant tanking stats with shield/def/absorb, if you plan on DPS-ing up until 55 then avoid all defensive stats and go straight for willpower (crit/power/surge doesn't matter until you get to 55 really). If you choose to be DPS, make sure you uncheck the tanking role in the group finder queue.. or do so when you hit your lvl30's cause it can be quite a pain having people fill out roles that aren't right for their chosen gearing and stats.
  7. I went over this assumption just the other day with a guild mate. We also concluded that 34B mods > 31 mods, at least for powertech tanks. Haven't checked with the other tanking classes but I assume this is also valid for Sins. Enhancements on the other hand, become debatable... Need someone to analyze the swtich from UW to 78 comm enhancements.
  8. Hello guys, Our guild, is currently recruiting people that are ready to raid 8man and 16m HM Operations. We're trying to set up a weekly squad and a weekend squad based on availabilities. Alts are also welcome into the guild. Our progression so far is: All story mode content cleared in 8m and 16m 8m TFB HM 3/5 8m SnV HM 6/7 16m SnV HM 7/7 8m DF HM 3/5 It is important to note that our guild was until 3 weeks ago a social guild just organizing weekly 16m OPs on SM and having a no stress and all fun sort of environment. Now we are still a social guild (Can't live without them laughs on TS) with a big focus on end game content clearing so this is our progression over the last 2 weeks actually. If you got the ambitions of downing HM/NiM end game content with a chill environment but do not wish to join a hard core guild... then we may be what you are looking for we believe that progression and FUN can be mixed. It's our guild philosophy!
  9. So is it worth giving it a try? Is he killable? Is this a bug? Or should we wait for a fix? that is the question..
  10. Hey mate, i'm no expert at this like a lot of the guys around here, but I am however a partisan of mostly mitigation over Endurance. Let me just try to put it down for you in a constructive manner: Lets say a boss hits for 10k of unmitigated damage. The difference between a Endu tank and a Mitigation tank (over long run stretches of data) will be that despite your (supposedly) 50k HP, you will get hit slightly more often for 10k damage than your mitigation counterparts, resulting in more spikyness. Not only that, but your mitigation counter part is more likely to turn that 10k damage say into.. 8k damage taken only. Not to mention that your mitigation counterpart will have more overall chances of even avoiding certain attacks. What a lot of us here are trying to say is, if you mitigate less damage, healers still have to focus more on you to counter spikyness -- resulting in overall less heals for the entire OPs. Simply because you are shielding less damage, you are deflecting/parrying less damage and when you do get hit, you are absorbing less damage. This is probably less of an issue for very skilled PVE guilds that will make less mistakes in HM content than casual guilds. But for the rest of us who are in casual non hardcore guilds, we need whatever we can use to ensure that mistakes are less costly. I believe that "mitigators" will allow more breathing room for healers than high Endurance/sub-optimal mitigation tanks.
  11. Oh and one more thing (sorry always glad to help out any way I can), the BIS implants you can get for a powertech tank until you can get your hands on Dread Forged implants (78 token implants) is the Veracity ones. They provide high defense and shield rating, higher than Arkanian, and I believe pretty much on par with Underworld in terms of mitigation. You won't get as much endurance, but Mitigation>Endurance. I don't remember the name but you should be able to buy em on the GTN for no more than 40k. Just type Veracity on GTN, select implant and check the aim stats. If you're lucky you'll find em! (don't forget to augment them of course)
  12. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=616779 Read this thread out and follow the vanguard stat distribution. To help you out a bit, calculate your stat budget by adding you defense, shield and absorb rating --> It will give you total stat budget. Check out the graphs in the post above and based on your stat budget, work towards the ideal defense, shield and absorb rating you should get. Based on the stats you're giving, I can tell you need a lot more defense, and less absorb. They're interchangeable so start changing enhancements and mods. Your shield rating is looking a bit high for your stat budget. Find verpine pieces that have high defense mods. Edit: try to stay away as much as you can from B mods and enhancements. Go for unlettered ones.. this is specific to powertechs at the very least. The easiest way to get unlettered mods is to get token gear from operations. I believe you can find unlettered mods from very verpine pieces, just focus on buying those. As for Oriconian gear, Bracers and Belts give out excellent def mods. For more info just check out the link to the thread, everything you need to know is there
  13. Assassin tanks my friend, are getting pretty substantial buffs for 2.5 Now is the perfect opportunity to lvl one up!
